Neither of the two addons that bring up my Google calendar work anymore. They each bring up some goofy Google "workplace". It says I can log into my calendar, but when I try, it says it's sending me an authorization request, even though the "don't ask again" button is checked. I never get an request on my phone, just a "ding" announcement. Arrrggghhh...

The latest Firefox does not load programs that used to work with it. That is, this used to work:

and now locks up the page. It also fails on a daily trivia question. If I run under other browsers (e.g., Opera,) they work fine. This makes me think it's some setting in Firefox. I'm not sure, but I think this started after a Firefox update.

I'm using a track pad and when I find a photograph I want to save, I click the trackpad with two fingers and a menu drops down. For whatever reason, the menu is different on my laptop than it is on my desk top. Is there anyway I can customize the drop down menu's choices so they match? Thanks/LNF

Apparently Firefox did an update (version 136.0.4) in the background while I was using Firefox on March 27. At some point I wanted to save a page to my bookmarks and realized all my bookmarks were missing. I had just used bookmarks earlier, so it had to have been an update. This happened to me before back in January 2025. I was without my bookmarks for several weeks when all of a sudden they showed up again.

I cannot use the instructions to go back to a previous profile, as the two options showing do not have my bookmarks, bookmark toolbar or customized Firefox homepage. I also cannot import my saved bookmarks to get them back. I get an error message when I attempt to do that option.

This is very frustrating, as I use my bookmarks, toolbar and customized homepage EVERY day. I have all my important links saved to bookmarks. Firefox developers need to find out why an update removes bookmarks, as this seems to be an ongoing issue with me. I've used Firefox for over 17+ years and never had bookmarks removed after an update before, so something in an update is causing this issue.

I have no idea at this point IF everything will return to normal in a few weeks like it did back in January. So right now I am without all my bookmarks. Please get this ongoing issue resolved, it's a royal pain. I need those bookmarks to maintain my daily routine for accessing financials, medical websites, etc.

Thanks for any help you can give me at this point. This is the second time it has happened.

I have used Firefox for ages now and love it. I have noticed in the last few months that some functions on some web sites are not able to be accessed. Such as submit, place an order, and the like. I have to use another browser. Is there any reason for this as I really don't like to use any other browser other than Firefox but it seems to be that I have to. Is there some way that I can get around this?

I have an AOL email account booked marked in the fire fox book make tool bar. It sends notifications when I open the browser. How can I turn off the notifications ?

every time I try to log into a google account I get a 400 error message. I deleted all cache and cookies multiple times scoured the help forums and tried all the fixes and I still get a 400 error. please help.

I tried to open my Firefox browser, but was unable to. Same thing with my Google chrome browser. I ran the troubleshooter for network problems, but unable to get a solution.

I downloaded a new Firefox browser in the hopes that it would let me access the other browser so I could retrieve all the settings, bookmarks, etc. However, everything disappeared when the new browser was installing.

Is there any way for me to retrieve that information or is it a total loss?

Hi, I'd love some help with this issue please. I have just bought a new Surface laptop and enabled sync from my desktop. But many of the bookmarks and none of the bookmark folders came across. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox but with the same result. I have an old Surface laptop that the new one is replacing and the syncing has worked perfectly on that. Every time I open Firefox recently, and the Yahoo.com web page starts up, I get an annoying prompt from global privacy control, that asks to allow or not allow. IT'S ANNOYING. I went into the settings for that apparent add on feature, that I DIDN'T add, and set all 5 settings to FALSE, but the program still pops up. It ALSO screws up the format of the Firefox web page, and shows the Yahoo News feed totally different and it's also VERY ANNOYING HOW do I totally get rid of the global privacy control? I can select the Firefox settings under security to tell web pages to not sell the info, as far as I know, correct, so I don't need the retarded global add on? ?? I want Firefox news feed like it was before the update. Thank you very much... HOPEFULLY!
