It seems that ever since my Thunderbird auto-updated to 128.5.1, sending messages with attachments is VERY slow. I just sent a client an email with a 6.9 MB attachment and it took over 2 minutes to send. A few weeks ago, that would have gotten sent in seconds. I tried cleaning out my Inbox and Sent box by moving most of the messages to local folders, but no change. Any thoughts? Anyone else having this issue?

I cannot access my "Trash" folder in my email. I get the "thunderbird is not responding". I've tried over a dozen times closing the program, and rebooting multiple of times. My wife's thunderbird email account is normal.

I cannot access my "Trash" folder in my email. I get the "thunderbird is not responding". I've tried over a dozen times closing the program, and rebooting multiple of times. My wife's thunderbird email account is normal.

I had an old question about PDF's showing inside the email, but I did not have evidence. I now have a pdf that shows in line, in Thunderbird, and one that does not.

Would this help in developing and allowing Thunderbird to show Pdfs in line?

Somewhere in between the latest Thunderbird update and me switching broadband providers from Virgin to Sky and back to Virgin again, all in the space of about a week, this problem has developed with sending emails.

At first when i switched from Virgin, I got a message that my NTL email address would no longer work after 90 days, as it was owned by Virgin. Each time I wanted to send from my NTL account I got a pop-up message asking me (Think I recall correctly) to insert my NTL password. I ignored it and switched my sending email address to my gmail email account. Now I find difficulty sending both in Gmail and in Virgin, sometimes having to wait several minutes for the email to go, sometimes it not going at all, other times waiting for a copy, then occasionally "can't copy to the "sent" folder so save in "Local Folder".

I would be grateful for advice how to revert to the previous excellent service i always had with Thunderbird.

После сжатия папки входящие в программе Mozilla Thunderbird исчезли все сообщения в рабочей почте. Покажите путь, как восстановить сообщения и/или путь, куда программа переправила все сообщения. Данное удаление происходит не первый раз и я уже терял все свои сообщения.

I'm using 128.5esr (64-bit) in Mac. There was a email in inbox ; I can mark it as read-under but cannot delete, move; I tried many times delete or move but nothing happened. After several restart that zombie email left but also I saw many empty folders which must have hundred emails in it...

my last backup belongs to months ago, so I lost all important emails. How to recover it I do not know. Any advice ?

I can receive emails with Thunderbird, but cannot send emails. I tried the troubleshoot function, but do not understand enough to use it. Maybe I could uninstall Thunderbird, and then re-install it. Would I loose all my addresses and stored emails?

I have Thunderbird installed on my PC and I have a HOW TO question.

I have my wife's email account setup to forward all mail to my email account. When the mail arrives, I have a filter that moves her mail to a folder and that filter works great. My problem was that we received an email yesterday where the TO line contained my both my email addresses (i.e. MMMM.xxxxx.com WWWW.ggggggggg.com). My email is not filtered and stays in the inbox but when the message arrived, the filter saw her address on the TO line in addition to my address and moved the message to her folder and I did not see the message since it was no longer in the inbox.

I tried to setup new, additional filter that I thought might work where the TO line contained both addresses where the filter action was to copy the message to her folder but leave the message in inbox but that didn't work. Since this message was from our homeowners association I tried FROM contains (i.e. @HOAssociation.com) and one or both of our email addresses on the TO line with the action still being a copy to her folder but that didn't seem to work either.

It was late at night (early morning) so I gave up and decided to ask for help so if anyone knows how to set this up. please let me know. Thanks.
