When I open the Google "Choose an account" page, my account name doesn't show up above my email address. The problem ceases only temporarily when I clear the cache and the Google cookies. Any suggestions?

My gmail account keeps asking me to sign in every other 5 minutes. I didn't change a thing on my setting and up until yesterday evening the gmail still stayed signed in. I tried to add google.com, gmail ect. in Exception, but it didn't help. When I was trying to leave a comment on youtube, I had to sign in every single time.

The YouTube videos load in troubleshoot mode, so I reopened Firefox and disabled all extensions. That did not help, so I uninstall all extensions. That does not work either. Other browsers work, but Firefox does not.

In a simple HTML file containing an Arabic / Urdu / Persian phrase: "با نشئہ درویشی در ساز و دمادم زن", Firefox in Linux (Ubuntu, to be more precise) uses the default font (DejaVu Sans) for the whole phrase except for one character (UNICODE: 6C1). Font used for this character is Noto Sans Arabic UI. So the text looks broken due to different fonts.

I've tried to search but could not find how exactly Firefox resolves preferences in Font Settings and CSS "font-family" preference to local fonts in Linux. Does this have to do something with "fontconfig"?

How can I make Firefox use only the default font for the whole phrase?

Is it possible for Mozilla to add a setting to Firefox that blocks .zip and .mov links from ever opening even if clicked on since a big part of the .zip links are being used to infect computers with malware

os = ubuntu 22.04 - 5.19.0-42-generic Mozilla Firefox 103.0.1 I am attempting to connect to a proxy that does not require a username and password, yet moz-proxy is continually asking for one. If I put any input in the prompts, it goes away, but if the machine is rebooted, the prompts begin again. How do I permanently stop firefox from asking for the username and password?

Not secure website home accessible, but none of the pages under it. Unable to mark pages for not secure browsing. I marked the home site for not secure browsing OK. But no pages under it will open. There does not seem to be a way to tell the browser to ignore the security requirement for all pages in this website.

When I try scrolling down on this website it automatically takes me to the top of the webpage like a reset. The hardware is fine because it is happening with touch pad and external mouse both. Even though it is happening only on 1-2 website, I am not sure whether it is my browser's issue or the website itself is faulty. Also, specific part of the URL keeps on refreshing nonstop : ?ref=n2dXHxxxxxxxxxxxxx

What is it about YouTubeTV in Firefox that breaks my ability to control playback? I can click with mouse, but shortcuts ("Play (k)", "Back 15 seconds (j)", or "Forward 15 seconds (l)") stop working repeatedly and I'm forced to go back to using my mouse (Wacom Intuos Pro M). This doesn't sound like a big deal until you're forced to watch an offensive "My Pillow" ad or worse, and I can't immediately stop the playback of these radicalized terrorists. Or if while watching a DVR recording, it stops allowing me to skip thru commercials, or pause playback without picking up my pen (mouse) to get back in control of the 'playback' features.

Strangely, this never happens on YouTube videos/content. Those same controls ('shortcuts') work fine there.

Firefox always plays sound through my speakers, even if I select another audio output. The only way I've found to get around this is to open sound settings and disable my speakers. Then Firefox will use the correct output device.

No other applications have this problem, and all my audio devices work fine, excluding Firefox. Any help would be appreciated!

I found the use of using right-click on images to get a general menu, and the middle-clicking on "Open image in new tab" a boon, because it would often enlarge the images and make them easier for me to see.

In the past two days, suddenly this has become a hit or miss situation and I'm not sure why. Sometimes I can middle-click on "open image in a new tab" multiple times and get no response. Other times if I hold down for a while and then release, it will open the image. And then other times again it will work as intended.

I'm not quite sure why this issue has suddenly occured.

Firefox is up to date, Version 113.0.2 (64-bit). My mouse is a KLIM Blaze, drivers 3.1 which again seem to be up to date. My middle-click in new-tab is set to true in firefox's config.

Does anyone know why these issues are happening?

Hello! When I try to log into my Microsoft 365 Outlooks, I get the following message:

'Your browser is a bit unusual...

Try disabling ad blockers and other extensions, enabling javascript, using a different web browser or turning off your VPN.'

I did go in and turn off the ad blocker. I do not have a VPN, and I could not find anything about Javascript on the Preferences page.

Please let me know what to do so I can log into my email.

I use Firefox in 4 different devices and only one shows the vulnerable passwords and all of them are synced and also all of them have the same settings.

Any idea as to what may be going on and how to solve it?

I see in the blog the roboform extension does not work with Firefox for many users. It errors that it only works in a browser. Why can't Roboform see or associate the connection when Firefox browser is in use. If it is in use, then Roboform should work. Is it a Firefox problem or a roboform problem? Between both of you surely someone can resolve this problem? It seems Roboform has washed their hands of the problem because they reply with a standard enable process that doesn't work for many people. I am on my 2nd new computer and still have the same problem. Again the error states it only works when the browser is in use. If the browser is in use, then what is the problem? thanks for any assistance you can provide.... I like Firefox and Roboform, it would be a blessing to have both working at the same time.
