I'm on tb 128 and use roadrunner. I see my emails on spectrum server but can't download them? I was using pop, they said imap is needed.

In Thunderbird version 128, the table view displays the subject line with different font colors based on tags, as shown in the example below.

I’ve seen at Thunderbird's release notes that Thunderbird supports displaying different font colors based on tags in the card view, as shown in the example below.

However, in my card view, the subject is displayed in white font, and only the tag label is highlighted, as shown in the example below.

I would like to know if the card view in 128.0.1esr (64-bit) on Windows 11 has the capability to display the subject line with different font colors based on tags. If it does, could you please advise on how to configure it?

Few minutes ago I did the update to 128esr Nebula, at first glance, it look pretty great...

But after the installation I found out that Antidote 11 is not compatible with this new version... DO you have an idea if something is in work so it will be compatible pretty soon ?

I am using Firefox nightly on Android. About two weeks ago I noticed that my toolbar got moved to the bottom after some update, while address bar is still at the top. I tried looking for it in settings but couldn't find anything about toolbar, that's weird since I was able to customize it a few years ago when I installed Firefox for the first time. So I looked it up on the internet and they say that it's in Settings/Customize/Toolbar, but in my browser settings instead of Toolbar there is Address bar settings. Has toolbar's settings been moved somewhere else? It looks like in previous versions it was under Customize section.

I have installed the LastPass extension for Firefox, more than once, but the LastPass icon does not appear in my browser bar. It used to be there, but disappeared a few weeks ago. I have tried to reinstall the extension, but it has had no effect.

Hi Everyone! I am missing the delete button on the incoming message that outlook has. I know I can right click delete but I do have to delete a lot of emails . I'd like to add a "delete message" button in the message list the same as Outlook. Is this Possible ?

Happy to see thunderbird is doing better and better recent years. I think it is now the time to add an option to allow it automatically startup in the background on system startup, which has been asked for several years. That is a really useful option, why not just implement it?

I think there are 2 ways: 1. Just automatically startup in the background on system startup and receive messages 2. Register a service in the background to receive e-mails and pop up notifications, and in this case, we don't need to add this option

The first solution may be easier to implement, but the second seems better? Anyway, thunderbird should have one of them

BTW, add an option to minimalize when click on 'close' button. I know there's an extension for this, so why not just integrate it :-)

 An update or two (maybe more?) ago, the plus sign with which we add shortcuts to the Firefox browser home page/new tab page disappeared, so now we can no longer add shortcuts on the home page/new tab page.  Please help.  I am running Firefox Version 129.0.2 (64-bit) on a Windows 11 Pro 64-bit if that makes any difference.  Thanks.

Today when I opened firefox I was greeted with a chat gpt bot on the left side of my screen. I don't want chat gpt any where near my computer. Please tell me how to remove that part of firefox from my pc.

The fucking forced dark mode has return despite the previous fix layout.css.prefers-color-scheme.content-override = 1 in about:config fixing it for years. This and the current replacement fixes don't save. I want a solution for PERMANENT light mode (black text on white background) for ALL menus, pop-ups, dropdown menus and hover over tab info.

And don't tell me to go search for a different theme I've already spent hours doing that and firefox has broken them only making some menus use the appropriate mode. On top of that I can't even pick an option to search for one that uses light mode I just have to go through each one and try it if I want to know which mode it uses that is NOT a solution to anything.

Replacement "fixes" for reference: ui.systemUsesDarkTheme won't even let me set to 0 only has true/false browser.theme.content-theme set to 1 browser.theme.toolbar-theme set to 1 (Why in the absolute hell these were added when a simple addition to preference setting wasn't is beyond me)

Very sorry for the aggressiveness but I am so very VERY tired of having to fight firefox on this preferance for years when their dark mode hurts my eyes.

Approximately 2 years back, for a short period of time, FireFox let you choose an audio output device in video conferencing web apps, through the web app directly.

This seems to be gone now, but I'd like to turn the feature back on.

It's very problematic to have to change your default audio device for video calls, as your computers sound effects and whatnot will also play in your headset as well, where as before, all you got was the audio from the video call in your headset.

Is there a way to turn this on again? Owl Practice (one of the VC web apps I use) still shows the different output devices, but regardless of which one you pick, it always comes out the default device. For a while this feature actually worked, but now it doesn't.

Is there a setting I can change? Maybe in about:config?

I have two outgoing SMTP servers. I need one server configured for each mail box. (Email account associated with the SMTP server must match the email account of the sender.)

How do I/Is it possible to configure nine (9) SMTP servers?

I know it may sound a bit strange, but I would like to know WHY an extension is not allowed in a private window, so I might understand the reason why I'm not able to diagnose an issue I'm having with fucking amazon who has their cart all over the place for a misconfiguration in firefox that either I did or an extension is causing, however I'm unable to figure out which because I can't enable extensions in private windows, where the issue does not happen, so I'm not able to reproduce and isolate the problem. Regular download works fine, but when I try to download attachment in outlook.live.com website, it didn't ask me where to store it, but simply places it in my default location, while at the same time opening the attachment even though I only want to download the file.

Like the poster on the above mentioned question, I have done everything suggested, but Thunderbird still puts messages into the Junk folder. How can I achieve this? I have used Thunderbird as my preferred mail client for many years. Recent upgrade to Kubuntu 24.04 from 22.04.4 seems to have changed storage options. Thunderbird 128.1.0esr(64bit)

I store my mail on my local server so that I can access it from a number of different computers on the same network. If I set the Local Directory to that network folder it is changed to /run/user/1000/doc/5f5f8977/mail.xxxxxx.com and the mail is imported to my local disk in that folder.

However, when I restart the computer I have to set up the network folder again each time.

I have never had this problem before. How do I set the Local Directory permanently to the network server address? Thanks Bob
