Hi, everyone. Usually, I used browsers such as brave, chromium, chrome. I want to know, maybe exists such add-on which add a context menu css for the inspector, because I don't like the inspector of firefox. Personally for me it is not handy. Hi, I want to set an image as my thunderbird start page, but when I do it the image appears enlarged. I would love to see the image fit into the startpage space automatically, without needing to click on the lens to scale down the image. I tried resizing the image to make it fit but it didn't work, since the image as to be so little that it looses all details. Thanks

JavaScript file uses command ```console.log()``` for showing values and outputs they into console. Next to the displayed result, there is a link to the place where the function was called (the source). I need to copy the displayed result, but when I select text in the console, these links get there.

How do I disable these links so that they are not displayed when data is output?

I use the tagging feature a lot. I have created two additional colors and changed the names of the original template to custom. I can go through and tag stuff with the color associated. While tagging, I can see the other previous messages I tagged in whatever color drop off (Real time) - Seems to happen with cyan and yellow most (Which happen to be the custom colors I chose) Not sure if this is a bug, or if the team is aware, just throwing it out there. I updated tonight to the most recent version, and re-tested, problem still there.

Anyone in community know of a work-around until resolved, I would be eternally grateful Or an extension that might do a better job than the native program

Thanks in advance!

Running 32bit Thunderbird on Windows Pro x64, build 2004

I'm not running the extension "ReminderFox" as some suggested to disable in a previous issue I read

Tagging it while in preview mode, instead of inbox view doesn't work either

Is there currently a way to make the home screen search widget dark rather than light?

The DuckDuckGo browser has a light and dark theme, whilst the Vivaldi browser changes automatically to the system theme. I have searched and searched to try and find a way to make the search widget black/grey (dark) rather than white (light) but found nothing but I wanted to check one last time here.

If this is not a current feature however, where would I go to request a new feature?

Thank you.

Been too many times when I’ve meant to close a bunch of tabs but don’t wanna to close the session restore tab (it’s my only way of accessing the old session tabs) and I accidentally close that session tab as well, thus losing all those old tabs. Is there anyway you guys can make it harder (Maybe with a “are you sure” prompt) before allowing to close that tab?

Also, when I go into history and click “open in new tab” on a link (lets say I’ve scrolled all the way down to find it), one the link opens, the link gets sent to the top of the list in history, thus making me lose the context of where I found the link in history. This is terrible UI, I should be left off where I clicked on the link (with it’s surrounding context (i.e. date, etc)

When searching for a word on an already loaded page I use find (cntrl f). The word if found is highlighted in a different color. In the default case its a light green. Can I change the color to red bold or at the least the background color in the highlighted word to black or red. Anything that has a much higher contrast. There doesn't seem to be a config option to do this but it may not be under the "findbar" family.

Thunderbird seems to have acquired a new "feature" whereby it somehow recognises a date/time in an incoming email as being about a scheduled meeting and brings up the attached This message contains an invitation to a meeting notification, with choices limited to Accept/Tentative/Decline.

Except that there is NO meeting - the email in question is a notification from my ISP of upcoming maintenance on their broadband network that will affect my service. I receive these every couple of weeks, but none have ever triggered this message before.

This new feature is a useless annoyance in its present sloppy implementation, but there is no obvious way to turn it off. Is this possible?

How can I know the names of elements in firefox tab context menu? (Menu which appears when we right click on a tab)

Example - If I want to hide the "sendtodevice" menu, then I will add below code to userChrome.css

/* Hide Send Tab to Device */

  1. context_sendTabToDevice_separator,
  2. context_sendTabToDevice,
  3. context_sendTabToDevicePopupMenu {
 display: none !important;

}

For send to device menu, the element names are above. For other menu items, where can I get their element names?

I want to hide a few menu items

I only want to block adverts when they are intrusive and I feel bad about blocking acceptable ads. Most ad blockers will allow you to whitelist a website but I often will not notice that the ads are being blocked and thus not white list it. What I want is an ad block extension to Firefox that only turns on for new sites when I tell it to, although it should be able to remember which sites I want it on for. I can't think of the best way to explain this which is why I couldn't find a solution on the web.

Does anyone know of an adblocker with this feature and how do I turn it on?

I looked at the article about keyboard shortcuts, but it didn't say if there was a way to disable any of them. It seems often when I'm typing, instead of hitting the backspace key, I accidentally hit the F12 and it pops into development mode. I won't be doing any development in the near future (or probably any time) so I'd like to disable that one for convenience. Thanks
