I have an emil signature that displays if I ad in as either a file or the code but when i go to write an email I get the signature minus the PNG logos. I then manual point the logo to the directory and this works when i send the email but I cant save where the files are stored on my MAC.

Please help

To see the incoming mail attachment it must be saved on the hard disk. After a while there are plenty of files in this folder. How to automatically clean this folder? Thank you.

I am using Thunderbird 24.4.0 on a MacBook Mountain Lion. I have three email accounts - about to drop one having changed provider. Each account has different message pane buttons, not by intention, none have the full set, and the full set cannot be restored by right-clicking to customize and selecting 'restore default set'. I'm from the Outlook.com team at Microsoft and would love to get "Outlook.com" as one of the free options for 'New Email Address' within Thunderbird.

As far as I understand, Thunderbird is run by this community, rather than Mozilla's corp team. Who would be best to speak to, and what would you need from us?

Is there any way to disable the large and obtrusive message that crops up in most of my incoming messages: "To protect your privacy, Thunderbird has blocked remote content in this message." I'm still struggling with the many terrible new "features" of Windows 8, one of which is incongruence of font sizes and inability to scale them properly as in previous Windows versions. The obnoxious Thunderbird warning above, takes up most of the space of what otherwise would be the message itself. I then must use the tiny scrollbar to see the actual content of the message, or take an extra step in the "Other Actions" menu to open the message in a new tab. I'd just like to be able to see my actual incoming message, but Thunderbird's warning takes up at least 60% of the space. Is there a way to hide or disable the warning, while still maintaining the block on incoming remote content ? If not, there should be, in your next version. Thanks.

In my opinion, it would be a great feature to have "Archive" as a filter action. That way I could create a filter that finds messages older than X days and "archive" them. This way we, the users, will not depend on other users writing and maintaining add-ons, which do this very simple action. I hope this is consider as a feature request.

I would like to establish a line length for email that I compose or receive. How can I do that? How can I get TB to wordwrap at that length and not some shorter length?

I am setting up a client to receive emails from an online service request form.... he's not tech saavy and wants all incoming emails to print out on his printer upon arrival. When he gets in at the end of the day, he wants a stack of printed emails/forms from which he can return calls. I know this can be done in MS Outlook (ugh)... hoping you can do the same or better!! I'm a longtime user and rely on Tbird...

I 'm running under windows 8.1, with last version of thunderbird; i'installed the option module 0.4 to recover deleted e-mails, but may I know the procedure to use to recover the deleted e-mails and how it works ? Thanks Rgds. J.Pierre

Whenever I click on an email address from within an email and ask to add it to my address book, the contact is added to Personal Address Book. How do I change that so that new addresses will be added to another book?

Thunderbird's address book has columns for telephone numbers. Is there a feature or add-on that allows one to click on the telephone number and have it dial that number through a PC's modem? Wordperfect Office had that feature in its address book but it has been removed in versions that work with Windows 7. I feel lost without it.

Macbook Pro with OSX 10.6.8 and Eudora OSE When I go to attach a file ( .jpg, ... ), the width of the name field opens up in list mode as about 8 columns wide. I looked through all the hidden prefs and could not find anything that might modify it. I am getting tired of having to expand it every time I attach a file. Where is this parameter hiding ??? HELP

I wish to use Win8.1 FileHistory to "ghost copy" my email folders (along with MyDocuments) onto a backup computer on my local net. Is it possible to change the location of the PROFILES folder from its AppData/Thunderbird path to a MyDocuments path? Do I simply change the Profile.ini file in some manner? Thanks...

I was hoping there might be a feature or add-on that will allow me to automatically print an email after I send it. For the purpose of creating a paper trail we have to print out at least the 1st page of all emails sent to our clients. Love using Thunderbird and would like to keep using it. I know there is a feature in Outlook. Hope you guys have one too :)

In Linux Thunderbird is there a keyboard shortcut alternative to insert>Characters and symbols ? I have tried various combinations of fn-alt-shift ctrl but none seem to work.

I have windows 7 Professional PC and use Mozilla Thunderbird 24.4.0 as my email account. I have a local .wav music file for incoming mail which tests OK, but when a new mail arrives it doesn't play. I have all the boxes ticked in the settings. Can anyone help please?
