The last couple weeks any emails from a business only have red horizontal/vertical grid lines. If it says to view or track package it won't let me, do it. If I drag that email over to another folder it acts normal and if I drag it back to my in box it has the red lines. I've checked the emails in the server, they are normal. Also, there is yellow bar at the bottom of the attached email. It acts like a message I'm trying to send because the to is prefilled out with my email address. Focus crashed a lot on my old phone, but it crashes even more on my Z Flip 5. Usually it happens when I attempt to switch tabs, but sometimes it happens even when I have only a single tab. The crash reports all look mostly the same, this is the most recent:

For the past few weeks, my PC reliably crashed after a few chess games on chess.com with Firefox. GPU and Memory benchmarks are running through without issues, it did crash when starting a Steam game once before, but I wasn't able to find out why. At this point, I'm really curious to learn about what could possibly cause this, but don't really know where to look for it. Really wondering what special thing is happening after a game there that doesn't happen with other websites/browsers. Would really appreciate your help!

Running Wayland on Archlinux 6.15.7 with AM5 CPU and DDR5 memory. Sometimes wondering if it's a graphics issue since my display is connected via the iGPU, but I also have an NVIDIA graphics card installed that I use for games sometimes.

I have several errors associated with the unified folders display. I have 6 email addresses coming in to Thunderbird. 3 are IMAP and 3 are POP. I have the POP addresses consolidated into the "Local" Folders Inbox, Sent, Trash etc. In the "All Folder" account views, the Local folder correctly displays one Inbox, one Sent, one Trash etc. The 3 POP emails accounts are being consolidated appropriately. However,in Unified folders, the Local folder as well as all of the individual POP addresses are now listed for the Inbox, Trash and Junk folders. There is now no consolidation.

Also, the Unified folders themselves are extremely slow in working. Accessing the properties for the Unified Inbox, Trash or Junk folders results in a long wait with Thunderbird entering a not responding state. Right click operations on the unified folders do not work at all. I cannot select properties, I cannot mark as read, empty or otherwise manipulate the folder. I must go to the individual accounts to manage any folder content. Which I would think makes the whole concept of Unified folders moot.

I am not at all certain what may be the root cause of this rather longstanding problem. I have deleted the smartfolders directory, have deleted the virtualfolders.dat and foldercache.json and foldertree.json files. Nothing seems to work.

Any suggestions?

Updated to esr 128.14 Now Reddit (Redgifs) Hosting site for gifs crashes Firefox and cripples my PC. I've tried restarting in safe mode, then refreshing Firefox. Nothing is working. Reddit support just has an issue with the Gifs not playing, but nothing as extreme as what iam experiencing. I believe it may be something is preferences or a codec or something that was changed in the recent update. Any advice/ help would be great. Edit: OS is windows 10 latest updates Amd- Ryzen 7/32gig 3.20 ghz PC. So can handle a little bit of heavy browsing.. FF 128.14 esr Ext- Ublock Origin

I started getting the most bizarre problem over the last couple of days from Thunderbird. Suddenly, for certain emails (not all of them), Thunderbird will start truncating the email. The email just stops loading partway through, and the email is not marked as read as it usually is. There is no progress bar at the bottom to indicate that the email is still loading. But, if I view the message source (via the View menu), the whole email is there. It typically happens with emails with either images or ones that fetch some sort of dynamic content.

I've repaired folders, rebuilt summary files, removed parent.lock, restored a backup of both program and message files from two days prior to the problem starting, reinstalled my current version of Thunderbird, rebooted the computer by holding the power button down for a minute, tried Thunderbird Troubleshoot mode, tried Windows 10 Safe Mode, disabled all add-ons, cleared my cache (under disk space), cleared my startup cache, created a new profile, compacted folders, and (temporarily) gave it a free pass through my Firewall. Nothing had any effect.

The Thunderbird Error console doesn't show anything in particular different between emails that load fully and those that do not.

To say I am at my wit's end is an understatement. Is there some sort of simple solution I am totally missing, by any chance? Thank you for any assistance!!!

I confirmed this problem on two separate computers(windows 7 and windows 11) and version 115.23.0 of Firefox ESR can not properly play streams on twitch.tv

Audio will play, but the video does not load with only a black screen with question mark icon replacing video feed.

I play games via android on PC using MuMu emulator, However the text becomesdistorted/cut off and little patches of colorful static patches appear when I scroll up or down. This is a problem on EVERY emulator I tried so far. This includes Memu and bluestacks as well as MuMu. They are ALL updated and I run the emulator using 8 core 16GB ram with DirectX and medium graphic settings. I tried low graphics and high and Max graphics all same issue. I tried using Vulkan and even the lowest graphic engine and SAME issue. This started happening after one of your updates but not sure which one because I just started using emulators again after many years of looking for emulator that does not bombard u with bloody Ad's..

Would appreciate it MUCH if you can fix this issue so I can use firefox to search for apk apps and games, I WILL NOT use anything that is based of Chrome aka Chromium (also a known in MANY verisons as a VERY dangerous and destructive malware/virus) and I also found a hidden remote access plugin on PC version too.

I been a devout Mozilla firefox user since firefox version was still in single digits, aka Ver 3.6 (example, I started at around Ver 5.x or 6.x hard to remember)..

I am running TB. Using the Windows Performance Monitor, the usage jumps from 30% to 90% and then 100% once TB is open. I am running 1.128.14.0esr (64-bit). I have the before and after screenshots of the CPU, see attached. Is this known behaviour?

I tried the steps at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiling-thunderbird-performance to record. The Multiprocess Browser Toolbox window hung the 2nd time (the first time, nothing happened after Capture recording), then I left it 20 minutes and came back to the message that we were unable to connect to the browser within 30 seconds. Firefox kept eating my RAM, running dozens of processes. I have gone into about:config and set the dom.ipc.processCount to 1 - then I restarted Firefox and found 5 processes running straightaway before even using the browser. I closed it down and have started it again and now there are 11 processes running with just one tab open. The problem repeats on three different computers which are not infected with malware. One computer with slightly less RAM I now cant even use Firefox at all (though all other browsers work fine) because the tabs constantly crash due to the high number of processes. Is there any way to set the process limit low in a way that Firefox actually responds to?

I have read a number of reports of tab crashing, which I have continually. Running 133.0.3 (64-bit) on Win 11 Home 23H2. Very inconsistent crashes, sometime will open new tabs other times it will crash. I have reinstalled no change. I ran refresh, no change and now when I open Firefox I get a message to restore windows. I can't seem to get that message to go away. Any suggestions, especially about the opening message? I have used FF for years and am almost at the point of switching to Chrome. As an aside, also have problems on some websites processing information/orders when using Firefox. No problem when I switch to Chrome. Thanks in advance......

Was prompted for various system updates including apps(Firefox). Performance has been very sluggish. At some points, it feels like I'm browsing on dialup. I have a 1GB connection from my ISP.

Not sure if this is a Firefox issue or in conjunction with the other system updates.

My file named "Archive" (no extension) in the ImapMail\outlook.office365.com\ folder is now 3 GB. I like all my inbox email progressively be archived in a single archive folder, searches are easier (in do not need to tick off "search subfolders" when I do Edit -> Find -> Search and I select the Archive folder. But I was wondering: does this affect speed (speed at which chunk of emails are archived at once, search speed etc) ? Should I archive by year? If it makes a big difference, how do I get thunderbird to get everything moved in years folder? If I select "yearly archived folder" in the attached screenshot, is it gonna start archiving by year from now on but it leaves the old files in a single folder, or does it creates also the yearly older folders and split all the past emails on those folders?

He said its down to some update which for some reason I dont have but in the attached image, he is able to add his own wallpaper in nightly but I am not for some reason. Would love some support
