I use Kaltura to record lectures and post them to my course at the U of Utah on Canvas. This semester, Firefox will not allow me to open "my media" where the Kaltura recordings are posted on Canvas. I get the following message: It seems your browser is blocking 3rd party session cookies which are required for the Kaltura application. To resolve this issue, please update your settings to allow 3rd party cookies.

I copied the Kaltura web address 670542.kaf.kaltura.com that I can see in Chrome and pasted it into a Chrome browser and it goes to my recordings in Canvas when I use Chrome. The same site doesn't work in Firefox. How do I unblock Kaltura third party sessions? Thank you.

How to Enable 3rd party cookies for Kaltura Media Application in Firefox Nightly 94.0a1

I am unable to enable 3rd party session cookies, which are required for the Kaltura application, in D2L Brightspace for online education courses in Firefox Nightly 94.0a1.

I have tried Kaltura application specific, and my educational institution specific troubleshooting with no change. I have tried changing settings in Firefox Nightly's Privacy and Security Enhanced Tracking Protections and by Managing Exceptions in Cookies and Site Data with no changes.

On the webpage of my course material there is a message that reads: "It seems your browser is blocking 3rd party session cookies which are required for the Kaltura application. To resolve this issue, please update your settings to allow 3rd party cookies." under Course Tour Video

I have further troubleshot this issue by managing the same exceptions in Google Chrome where the content is working. I have retrieved the relevant content URLs from the Google Chrome browser Kaltura video and cookie info and used them in Firefox Nightly to allow all appropriate exceptions with no changes.

After all troubleshooting, I have took the step of clearing Cookies, Site Data, History and restarting Firefox Nightly with no changes on the course page and met with the same error message.

How can I resolve this, because I would like to use Firefox Nightly as my preferred browser for my course work?

My bank has a tab that pays money directly its called Popmoney. Up until yesterday it has worked fine. It now says "We're sorry for this error. In order to use this service, your internet browser must accept third-party cookies. Please refer to your browser's online help for enabling cookies in your system. I have enjoyed using Firefox for quite some time now, it is my favorite browser. However, recently, for a reason I cannot explain, I have been getting error messages on my school's online learning system that blocks me from watching any videos in the course. The error message reads as followed- "It seems your browser is blocking 3rd party session cookies which are required for the Kaltura application. To resolve this issue, please update your settings to allow 3rd party cookies." ( For reference i guess, I go to IU which uses Canvas as an online learning platform. I haven't heard of anyone else having this issue)

I was very confused seeing this, because I hadn't recently changed or messed with any settings, I haven't downloaded any new security plug ins, but I went into my settings anyway to try and unblock all cookies using a custom settings option, under "Enhanced Tracking Protection" in settings. Reload my pages, restarted my browser, and no luck either time. I'm very confused as to why I'm seeing this error message, and it is getting in the way of my schoolwork at this point. I would LOVE to not have to download Chrome, so please help me thank you

Several Firefox updates ago, I lost the ability to retain cookies in Firefox. The result is I have to keep signing into websites (e.g., Amazon, Facebook), rather than the websites "remembering" me, which is how it had been for years.

I keep trying to add these (and other) website to Cookies "Manage Exceptions" - but I'm unable to select "Allow". When I do, only "Allow for Sessions" is selected for each website. And even "Allow for Sessions" doesn't last. The websites are gone the next time I open Settings.

Ask to save logins and passwords for websites is selected. "Remember browsing history" IS selected.

Despite a number of updates, this problem has persisted. Please help.

I'm not certain if this is the appropriate forum. However, maybe someone understands header options and cookies.

If I execute the following google apps script I receive a blank dialog with a title of "demo", and a response code of 302. This dialog is attached.

If I next click on the "follow redirects" message I receive a error dialog, and this is also attached.

I'm kind of in the dark regarding authentication. Does someone know if there is a problem with the options, or if it's something else?

Thanks,

function logon0() {

 //
 // Logon to dashboard

 var user = "######";
 var password = "######";
 var options = {muteHttpExceptions: true,

 options.headers = {"Authorization": "Basic " + Utilities.base64Encode(user + ":" + password) };
 var response = UrlFetchApp.fetch(url, options);
 var cookie = response.getAllHeaders()['Set-Cookie'];
 var opt2 = {muteHttpExceptions: true,

                 {Cookie: cookie},

            };
 var response2 = UrlFetchApp.fetch("https://www.######.com/app/v4/dashboard",opt2);
 var ui = HtmlService.createHtmlOutput(response2.getContentText());
 SpreadsheetApp.getUi().showModelessDialog(ui,"demo");
 Logger.log(response2.getContentText());

}

I am constantly getting signed out of all my logins simultaneously. When I try to log back in I get error messages saying "sorry you'll have to log in first" or "sorry we couldn't find that, try searching for something else." The only way I can fix it is by restarting my phone. It's driving me insane, I have cookies enabled so this shouldn't be happening. Please help

Hi,

I need to know if the steps to delete cache and cookies in Firefox 3.5 is the same as for the latest version--this is for Firefox in Mac, not PC. I understand the newest version is 74 so I imagine the process must have changed but I dont exactly know...

Also, if the process has changed, what was the old process?

Thanks :)
