I've had the zoom disable for a while on firefox beta for a while but now the about a week ago the pages have shrank and elemant of the pages are missed aligned. is there a work around or will I have to wait till its fixed?

Hi. For the past few months I have been unable to play any samples from the Audible website in Firefox on my android phone. When I click the word "Sample" Audible opens up a new tab with their Web player and I always get an error message that is just a rectangular box with an exclamation mark inside a triangle on the left side of the box. (Screenshot attached.) There are no words inside the box and the only option is to close the tab. Since there is no actual message I'm not sure what the problem is.

Playing samples used to work fine when you could play them within their web page before Audible changed its system. I seem to be able to play samples on Audible's Web player in Chrome, but would prefer to keep Firefox as my default browser. I have tried deleting all history, cookies and cache; closing and reopening Firefox; turning phone off and starting again after an hour. I've also tried enabling autoplay, but that made no difference. I was thinking that the issue may be with my other settings within Firefox, but I can't tell. Any help you can provide would be great. after fast forwarding/rewinding with the drag and seek or double tap feature, the video begins to stutter. it seems like "micro pauses" I have to pause the video for 10-15 seconds and resume or refresh the page to solve the issue.

Hello, when using Android Firefox to view my Hotmail emails, there are some emails that display all content, but there are some emails where all images are not displayed. (Office Depot emails are not displayed). They come up correctly in Chrome. Is there a workaround or solution? John

I've gone into site permissions and default blocked audio and video autoplay, blocked notifications, everything is set to ask to allow orblocked. The website does not have exceptions. I've tried blocking all notifications in Firefox settings and in my android app permissions for Firefox. Nothing will stop this obvious trill when popups are triggered.

How do I block this noise?

These "crashes" aren't in the Report, so I'm not sure what to do. I've pressed Quit, I've cleared the Cache (twice), and I've deleted and reinstalled the app. Firefox was working just fine until recently. These crashes only to seemingly happen on YouTube and Tumblr. It closes worse when I have the YouYube in Background Add-on on, but it isn't just because of that. If anyone knows how to fix this, feel free to answer.

This problem has kept annoying me for months now: When I load my youtube subscriptions page on my tablet, Firefox keeps kicking me over to the mobile site (m.youtube.com instead of www.youtube.com) which is bloody annoying. Changing the m to www manually will do me no good, it gets changed back to m as soon as i hit enter. Turning on the desktop site switch in the menu will only work temporarily, it's only a matter of time before I get kicked back to the mobile site. It's not a question of IF it happens, it's a question of WHEN it happens.

The thing is that this ONLY happens with youtube in Firefox on my tablet, but not in Firefox on my phone, my computer or other websites, and it does not happen in opera on the tablet either. That tells me that it is a Firefox problem (maybe some setting?), not a YouTube problem.

So why does Firefox do this, and how can I stop it?

PS. It's the latest version of Firefox on a galaxy tab s2 running Android 7. No, updating to a newer version of Android is not an option :-( Thanks, Samsung!

On some sites Firefox will not play the embedded videos. For example embedded screencast recordings like those used by employee time management platforms eg time doctor. Not sure of the format maybe webm

Hey, Firefox, here are two things that need to be developed/produced/made-to-happen. The ability to: 1) When watching a playlist on YouTube, on full screen, there is currently no button to skip ahead (or go backward) to the next video in the playlist. We have to inconveniently "come out of" full screen to skip ahead (or go back to the previous) to the next video, and then of course re-engage full screen. I'd think by now, in 2023, you could have developed that. You should make Firefox on Android as close to the way the actual YouTube app operates as possible. 2) When in YouTube, the comments, guys...obviously you know you only offer the option to view the comment section as what YouTube calls "Top comments" but you currently don't offer the option to switch to the "Newest first" view. Come on, guys. We should have that option by now in Firefox mobile browser.

I tried tuning off and on "open links in app". I have the newest firefox nightly app. My Phone is huawei P40 pro.

I cannot view CNBC investing club videos (yes, I'm logged in), in Firefox on Android 13 immediately after yesterday's Android update.

Chrome can view videos perfectly.

Firefox should adjust for the latest Android update.

I'm encountering an issue on Firefox mobile where in-browser video playback only buffers a few minutes of a video file, plays it normally for a few minutes, and then stops and won't load any additional video. Refreshing the page and scrubbing forward on the video to the point I left off will let me continue for the next few minutes but it inevitably stops again after a few more minutes. It's as though Firefox is only willing to buffer a video when the page is first loaded, and it forgets to keep buffering as the video is played through. This is frustrating for short videos where this would need to be done a couple of times, but is untenable for anything longer.

This issue replicates on any streaming website I use the browser for, it happens on multiple different networks, and it not an issue with any other video apps on my device. So I suspect it is locallized to an issue with Firefox mobile. I have tried updating Firefox (running v 110.0.1) but the problem persists

Is there a fix for this? A setting I'm missing somewhere? Maybe is it possible to increase the buffer limit on the mobile app so that it can load a whole video at once, instead of just a small portion of it when the page first loads?

I am using the video background fix addon but whenever i minimize firefox, it will play the current video untill the end and will not autoplay the next one. I have to bring forefox to the screen again and then it starts the video.

On my much older Android device, i am using the same setup and have no problem with autoplaying the next video, even when firefox is minimized. Any suggestions?

I am trying to set my tablet up for use with jpay.com video visits which are live with the prison system in Georgia how do I do that it continuously tells me that the browser is not up to date through Firefox which it is and indeed to download the latest version of their securus vre which I have done. So i just got back on using firefox then this annoying bug keeps happening which is i cannot play a single video thats in full screen mode even though i already click the expand button, any site from youtube, imdb etc. will not play in full screen.

There always this gray area from top like in the line of the front cam of my phone. Before i can watch videos in full screen but now idk whats happening.

As it's already mentioned in the subject, I can't play videos from netflix in browser. Using Firefox's Beta Version latest version 109.0b5 (as per the time of writing). Clicking on playback, the page says either you aren't on the latest version of Firefox or You can instantly watch this title at the moment. Please look into this.

YouTube videos on Firefox Android Stable, Beta, and Nighty, experience significant frame drops when viewing "Stats" both on AVC1 and VP9, and on all resolutions. I checked about:config in both Beta and Nightly and HW acceleration was enabled. This was true for a FRESH install as well. I tried this on other devices and the problem persists. Mull, which is a fork of Fennec, plays the same videos without any problems. Other browsers are also fine.

Tested on Samsung S20 One UI 5.1 (Android 13). Tested on Samsung A13 One UI 5.0 (Android 13). Tested Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact (Android 10). Tested on Sony Xperia XZ1 (Android 9).

When I play YouTube videos the audio functions but I get a black screen. Tried it with add ons disabled still have problem. Videos play in other android browsers (opera and chrome) and in YouTube app but not in fx.

Cleared cache, cookies, restarted phone, checked for system updates. Not having problem with non YouTube videos.

Using fx version 110.1.0 (Build #2015936097).

Yeah YouTube is really really jumping every time you go watch something on it doesn't play correctly. I believe it needs to have some work done to it if you could let me know what it needs to have done I thank you very much.
