Previously I could change the color of ONLY visited links. 138 broke that ability and replaced it with a contrast setting that changes every kind of link color and the page background color/design too. This totally stinks and makes the visited web pages look terrible and hard to read too.

Is there a way to set FF so that ONLY visited link colors can be changed to the preferred one?

How do we convince Mozilla to add dark mode? It's a simple thing, and quite popular today.

I'm referring to Firefox on Desktop, but on Android, before the dark mode revolution, I would to root my phones to control the silly bright screens - it was a lot of work - but worth it. I still avoid apps that refuses to comply with popular and sensible dark mode.

The bright background fixation is due to people growing up writing on white paper... they don't get that it's silly - staring at a flashlight - or 1920x1080 flashlights. I started computers in command line days - dark was default. Then came blinding Windows - many years of blinding nonsense. Finally, in the last 10 years, while most tech has enabled dark mode, MOZILLA is a huge disappointing exception. Why?

The only way I've found to fix Firefox decreases security! about:config, extensions.webextensions.restrictedDomains ... not recommended!

I would like to swap the order of the first 2 items on the Bookmarks Context Menu - that is "Open in New Tab" should be second, and "Open in New Window" should be first.

I'm able to do this on the "regular" context menu with the following code...

But I cannot find the correct selector for the Bookmarks Context menu (see attached image).

I have tried code (to no avail) such as the following...

Hi!

Is it possible to hide the address bar entirely when entering full screen. When I use Safari I have the option to hide everything except the page i am looking at, this makes reading manga really nice and distraction free.

Obviously I'd prefer to use Firefox so I was wondering if this is possible in settings or is a planned feature in the future.

Please tell me whether I need to a)uninstall/reinstall Firefox OR if there is a setting somewhere that I need to use to correct this problem. I usually use Arial variations and need at least 14 for font size. My settings are always the same. My machine is a Lenovo ThinkPad and the OS is Windows 11. I have four bars at the top of the screen, File/Edit, below that tabs, below that the search bar, and below that bookmarks. Before yesterday everything was the correct size for my vision. I now have a visible sidebar, after installing the latest update. The 'help' section says to click on the 'settings' icon in the sidebar. I have no buttons, at all, in the sidebar. It is blank white. How do I remove this thing?

So, I just now installed Firefox and now I want to change the background of the home page (new tab), the same way you would do in chrome. I did some research and created a chrome folder and a chromeContent.css file in there.

neither of those worked, even though I'm pretty sure I followed all of the instructions correctly. help please, will be greatly appreciated (i don't know if i chose the correct topic)

When attempting to print a report from a website, I received this notice:

"For best print result; please enable the "Print background colors and graphics" option in your browser."

I haven't found a setting for this, Is there a setting for this?

I have been looking all over Firefox for the setting to change the icon (was included in the latest update notes) but it’s nowhere to be found for me. Am I missing something?

Within the last week, my homepage has changed in look and operation. It no longer has all of my bookmarks, I can no longer navigate back to my homepage from other sites, etc. Also, it have a very plain, sterile display. What changed and how to I get back to my original homepage?

I had to re-instal Firefox because I had problems with the latest update and now there is no fox icon top left hand corner and no file, etc., so I cannot send email link, print, etc. I would love for someone to assist me.

Hello, does Firefox has a function where the bookmarks only show in a Bookmarks toolbar when a blank tab is open please? Once a bookmark is selected from the Bookmarks Toolbar, then the Bookmarks Toolbar is no longer needed and should disappear to maximise webpage space.

Is there a way to show bookmarks on particular sites without showing them all the time?

My use case is that I have a plugin's url set as my home page and new tab page and would like to be able to see my bookmarks when I open a new tab but not when I'm on other tabs.

Bonus question; is there a way to have my new tabs open to that plugin's url but also have the url bar empty for browsing?

Good afternoon. Yesterday I updated the Mozilla version from 135.0.1 to 136.0 and now the Firefox logo has appeared on the main screen (where the shortcuts are), thus reducing the size of the shortcuts and creating the inconvenience of having to scroll with the mouse, because before that everything fit nicely. Please remove the logo from the Firefox home page. Or tell me how I can return to version 135.01 without losing my data. This is very inconvenient, so much so that I decided to write to you for the first time.

Hello Since few weeks (maybe on firefox 132 already, but surely on firefox 133) I observe issue with my firefox UI. While grabbing and holding tab (to change its position, move it on bar), whole tab bar gets thinner which realigns my whole UI. Issue is probably caused by my custom userchrome.css but I need it in current or similar form. Maybe there is some css specialist who can help me remove unnecessary parts of code?

i just got a new laptop and have setup my taskbar at the bottom and most frequently used bookmarks at the top. I used to also have a sidebar where i had my entire bookmarks menu but cant figure out how to do that. any ideas?

now i have firefox as my default browser and i want to add youtube without losing bookmarks add ons and all my configurations I f i refresh youtube wont i lose all those and i do not remember my firefox password either please help me

I just upgraded from an older computer OS to Windows 11. I imported my bookmarks but really hate the new look of the bookmarks bar in Win11. The icons are all generic and have no color. I've attached a screen shot illustrating.
