The Bookmarks Gadget (under Add Gadgets) appears to have been hijacked. I have dozens of bookmarks and now every single one of them redirects me to https://12jav.net/. I tried clearing all browsing data, logging out/in, and reinstalling the gadget. It seems to have happened after installing the latest version of Firefox, and reverting to an earlier version did not help either. Can you please look into this? Thank you.

WIBNI I could export my saved bookmark/password, so that I could make use of the available Import function? Please pardon the sarcasm, I'm frustrated by the implementations of one-way data transfers around here, and recognize that this function may be available, but hidden from my simple help query. BTW, hidden interfaces is another hot button of mine...

My best understanding is the password reset on THIS computer deleted my saved bookmarks, etc. and if I reconnect THAT computer, my saved bookmarks, etc. will be reset too.

I finally decided to download Firefox for IOS on my Iphone. once it downloaded I told it to sync, including Bookmarks. When I select Bookmarks from the menu (hamburger) I only see the entries from my Bookmarks Toolbar. The vast majority of my Firefox Bookmarks are in my Bookmarks Menu. Did those not sync, or are they on my Iphone but for some reason they aren't being displayed? If it's important, my main computers are Windows based (one is an old Windows 7 running the latest IESR the other is Windows 11 running a current version of Firefox for Windows) If I'm looking in the right place, my Iphone has Firefox 124.2.

I have exhausted most Mozilla/Firefox instructions on the web as to 'How I delete all bookmarks at once'. The word 'Library' does not appear in the drop-down menu.

Hello, I use the Manage Bookmarks / Library function a lot. However, it drives me crazy that the library always opens at the folder: Other Bookmarks/BSP2 trash folder . . . DO NOT REMOVE! I then have to navigate up to find the folder I need. This gets really tedious after a while.

Is there a way to get the library to open at another folder, preferably the most recent folder?

Purchased new iMac w/ Sonoma v 14.2. Contents of old computer were transferred to new one at the Apple Store but I cannot find my bookmarks now. Any advice is appreciated

Hello, i reset my pc and i forgot to save my firefox data and bookmarks. I had an account and when i logged back in everything was gone. Is there any way i can get that info back? Thank you

I'm setting up a user on a new computer. I've exported her bookmarks from her old computer. On the new computer I go to Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks > (select bookmarks toolbar) > Import and Backup > Import bookmarks from HTML. I browse to my folder containing the bookmarks.html file, Open it, and nothing.

I've tried all the suggestions I can find. Places Database Verify Integrity gives me: > Task: checkIntegrity + The places.sqlite database is sane + The favicons.sqlite database is sane > Task: checkCoherence + The database is coherent etc. Opening the bookmarks.html file shows a list of bookmarks. That file is not empty.

This shouldn't be this hard. How do I accomplish this?

I would LOVE to see the option to either

• save bookmarks to the last selected location
• or to set a different default location than „mobile bookmarks“

The background d is that I usually never want to save to mobile bookmark folder, and almost exclusively use the bookmark bar or even a specific „sort“/„inbox“ folder in it.

Is there a way to achieve this on iOS already?

But you won't know it until you access more unique folders than you already have in the list.

For instance, when you access the 8th folder that is different it will be sticky, when you access a 9th that is different it will be sticky. Kind of like a "most recently used" list. You won't see the extras until they happen.

Solution given by Cor-el: There is a pref on the about:config page that defaults to 7 to set the number of entries to show in this list of recently used folders.

In French ('English underneath) J'essaye d'organizer mes marque pages 1)Je tape sur supprimer, la page revient à la prochaine application 2)Je crée un dossier. (Il n,y avait pas le separateur <autres marques pages>) Avant l'essai de reorganization, <autres marques pages> contenait la plupart des fiches, les marques pages normales (bouton >>je presume) contenait seulement une demi douzaine choisis au hazard. Apres l'installation des dossiers, <autres marque pages> contient seulement les dossiers, bouton >> toutes les fiches. Il est impossible de transferer de bouton >> jusqu'a <autres marque pages>, afin d'incluire les fiches dans un dossier.

I am trying to organize my bookmarks. 1)I press the delete button, the page comes back next time I open the computer 2)I create a file folder. In previous versions of Firefox ,there was no separator between bookmarks (button>> I assume) and <other bookmarks>, and one could transfer a file into a folder using control and the arrow. Before I tried to organize the bookmarks, <other bookmarks>for some reason contained nearly all my files, the button >> only a few chosen at hazard. Having created file folders, <other bookmarks> contains the folders, button >> all the files. It is impossible to transfer from button>> into the folders in <other bookmarks>.

I used to be able to show speed dial bookmarks on my home page, as many rows as I had spd dial bkmks, like 30 or so. Now I cant even get speed dial to show anywhere anyway. I really want it on my home page, so when I launch FF or open a new tab, it auto shows all my speed dial bkmks. Please restore this functionality. We should not need some special extension to do this. It should be an option off the Settings tab

  For couple weeks , following any external link/reference, such as all 'unsubscribe' links from Apple Mail messages, Firefox opens but homepage rather than to the link/url argument (and url field shows blank, not display the extrrnal link's url address in url input box.
  Support history shows an identical problem in Ff ~117 reported (Aug '23, I think)   (if the condition of Firefox not currently running is same, which I haven't yet been able to determine) and apparently resolved then ( 2 replies, but thread is not visible because FF Support has it recorded as "Archived").

I suddenly and unaccountably lost access to my bookmarks and their contents. Where I used to have two "stars" at the address banner, the left one to bookmark sites, and the right to access bookmark folders and their contents, I now only have one star which bookmarks new sites. I can still see my folders, but cannot access them and cannot tell if they have any contents. I have used Firefox for many years with no problem. I'm stumped and frustrated. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yesterday I clicked the download button "Download the latest version of Firefox", and restarted my laptop. After this my bookmarks disappeared and my only method to retrieve them was to restore my system back to an earlier time period. Now, I'm offered that same download but NO THANK YOU until I know I'll still have my data.

To export my bookmarks => Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Export Bookmarks => results in bookmarks.HTML.

Unfortunately that HTML does not include the "folders" in the bookmarks. For example I keep the forum folders (C# Corner folder, Mozilla folder, Microsoft Office folder, etc.) separate from other folders.

How do I a bookmark export that includes folders?

I used to be able to access all bookmarks from the Library icon on the address toolbar. Now, it only shows a list of what it labels "recent bookmarks" (the bookmarks shown are really not recent). I would like to be able to open the Library and access all bookmarks, which is the way it used to work. I will attach a screen shot to illustrate what I mean.
