I Tagged This Post Under The *SETTINGS* Topic, But I Believe That It Could Also Fall Under SeverL Other Topics Or Categories As Well Such As The Following: • ACCESSIBILITY • BROWSE or SEARCH • CONNECTIVITY • PRIVACY & SECURITY & I Must Say.... I Am Absolutely Loving The Firefox BETA Web Browser Thus Far & All The Different Settings & Security Features Available, But There Is Either A BUG, Or A Feature That Is Just Missing (for whatever reason) That I Feel Is A MUST HAVE Added Feature & NEEDS To Be Added, Implemented, & Supported Immediately For Users With Disabilities Such As Myself. I Am A U.S. Army Combat Veteran & Lost My Hands In Combat Due To An I.E.D (roadside bomb) & I Rely On Voice Texting To Be Able To Send Messages, Search, Stay Connected With My Community & Friends Online, & The Ability To Even Use A Smartphone Device With Relative Ease. The Gboard Functionality & Ease Of Use Along With The Instant Translations Of Languages , & Audio Translation Features Make My Phone Use Pretty Much As Good As Someone Who Has BOTH Of Their Hands Still. I Love Everything About The Extensions & Added Safety Features With Firefox & The BETA Is My GO TO Web Browser From Now On & That Will Doubtfully Ever Change. But, The Missing VOICE TEXT Will Definitely Change That Decision If It Is Not Implemented Soon, I NEED That Feature & Without It Then The Web Browsers Added Security Is Completely Useless For Me, Because I Won't Be Able To Work The Device On My Own Anymore. Just Like Now.... I'm Now Relying On My Wife To Type & Send My Messages For Me Due To The Missing Voice Text Capability, Which Is Just Not A Preferred Method Or One %hat Ik Willing To Stick With Permanently. She Doesn't Have Time To Take Care Of My Online Social Matters For Me & I Refuse To Ask Her To Do Such. So With That Being Said, Either Mozilla Firefox Needs To Add A Voice Texting Capability To It's Browser Settings Within The Veta Or Else I Will Be Forced To Discontinue It's Use. I Mean, Am I Just Over-Looking Some Sort Of Extension, Add On, Feature, Setting, Or Am I Right & There Isn't (me Available, Because I Prefer To Use The Gboard Due To It's Outstanding Functionality & I Noticed Anytime I Open A Tab Or Access The Firefox Beta Web Browser & Attempt To Either Search For Something, Or If I'm In A Public Chat Setting While Using The Browser, Then The Microphone 🎙️ & Voice Texting Capability & Logo Completely Disappears From My Gboard Keyboard & Is No Longer Accessible For Some Unknown Stupid Reason...??? I have come across some people who ask about the thickness of scrollbars.

Do you find the scrollbars are just too thin and difficult to select because your eyesight is not so good or maybe you have less ease in controlling the mouse? If yes then the following information may be of help.

Firefox has been working fine, but today when I clicked to start, I received an error message. "The file or directory is corrupted or unreadable." When trying to uninstall Firefox, Windows cannot find the uninstall helper. When I try to download a new version, I receive an error message: "Couldn't download - virus scan failed." Windows Security reports are all good. A scan found no viruses. Firefox will not open at all.

Trying to solve a problem with thunderbird account email recipients not receiving emails with particular linked URLs embedded in the email I decided to see if maybe I could update thunderbird and that might solve the problem (see previous post/question https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1513733 )

The new user interface/format is completely different than the one I was used to and it took a good half hour to get it to behave at least a little like the old U.I.

It used to be easy to sort incoming mail by sender or date by clicking on the subject bar above the name or date and it would be rearranged to clearly show the order I was looking for, with a nice broad layout in the right hand pane. Now I have to go to view sort by and choose how I want it to be arranged, no way to close an open email in the right hand pane and show the received/sent emails in a nice broad easily readable pane on the right.

Starting to ramble, can't remember EXACTLY how the previous version worked/looked..... mea culpa.

Is there a way to go back to most recent previous version of Thunderbird with the old U>I>?

I have a new HD and installed Linux Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS. I installed Thunderbird version 2:1 snap 1-Oubuntu3. The program will not open Just get "Your Thunderbird profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible."

I'm trying to download my deceased son's Gmail account. 1.) They sent me the info to download Mozilla Thunderbird, which I did. 2.) Then it says to close after you have completed the installation. 3.) Open the following path/folder on your computer. 4.) Open Windows XP/2000, the path is C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\

My question is: I have Windows 11 Home, does that make a difference as to what I type in the path/folder? Also, where do I go to get to that path/folder?

I only have 30 days to figure this out and then have to refile a legal retrieval again to obtain the emails. I received the notice on the 16 of May and have not been able to figure this out. Google said in order to open the email content use Mozilla Thunderbird or any other program capable of reading ".mbox" format files.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to hearing from someone soon. Thank you!

Hello; Windows 10 & current version of Thunderbird. I am trying to add Messages Filters to filter out spam (getting more and more of that!) but the "OK" button on the add message filter is below the bottom of the screen. The window cannot be raised or resized to make the button visible. Photo below. Moving window does not allow me to raise window above top of screen. Keyboard (Alt-Enter) / Move will not work. Changed windows screen size just makes window larger but button still below bottom of screen.

Non-functional work around. Highlight Message name. Press Shift-Tab TWICE. Press ENTER. UGLY!

I'm trying to make contact with Chihuahua Universe, breeder of a puppy that I'm trying to purchase. But, there is no access to message her, about wot to do next. She mentioned you were making updates to your site & to try again. I have tried several times now!! Please could you help me with this matter, as I'm finding the whole thing extremely frustrating. I don't think that your site is very navigable, I have tried several different ways of finding information I require!!!!!!

Trying on here, as I suspect the android forum gets little attention.

I can send email with TB for Android over the Internet from home, but not over the Internet in 4 out of 4 cafes. it's not due to a VPN. It only happens eith Thunderbird, not Gmail or Outlook.

I have 2 instances of Firefox: I use stable for all my professional work, and I use Developer Edition (Aurora Channel) for personal things. The stable branch works fine. In Aurora though, certain key combos will not work. This even persists in troubleshooting (safe) mode.

Specifically, it seems anything using both ctrl+alt will not register alt, only ctrl. alt, alt+shift, and ctrl+shift all seem to work fine, but ctrl+alt and ctrl+alt+shift do not. Again, this works fine in stable, so I am clueless as to why it doesn't work in my other instance.

Another detail is that this happens on multiple websites, not just one. The post prominent one is Google Sheets. In sheets, you can insert the date using `ctrl+;`, the time using `ctrl+shift+;`, and both using `ctrl+alt+shift+;`. Inserting them separately works fine, but both causes only one to insert.
