Hi, since I use a set of different browsers for different tasks, it would be great if there was an easy way of opening links from within thunderbird emails to your browser of choice. E.g. via right mouse button: Open Link in ... I use that method in other applications frequently.

Firefox for iPadOS (version 125.1) does not completely download files. I get the blue „Completed“-bar at the bottom of the screen. Most of the time it gives the correct file name in the download folder and sometimes, as with Thingiverse, the name of the download is „Unknown“. But always the download is just a few kB big. I have to copy&paste the URL to Safari and redo the download. Safari always does downloads correctly. Suggestions highly appreciated.

I am no longer able to receive emails from my office 365 account(was originally a go daddy account). I am able to send emails out and its showing deleted emails for over 10 years ago. I just have nothing on inbox. I have taken everything out and reinstalled, even changed passwords. anyone have a idea how to fix.

I've received my new PC and will be migrating from my old PC (Windows 10) to the new PC with Windows 11.

I use local folders in Thunderbird to keep various projects separate and more easy to manage. I have copied the current Thunderbird profile on to an external hard disk, I have found the location of the local folders and they reflect the structure in the Thunderbird screen I see. Thunderbird has been unstable for a few weeks so I would prefer a clean install but don't want to lose a lot of content that I still need.

1. Is there a way to copy over just the local folders, eg export them, rather than the whole profile? I deliberately haven't cleaned the server recently so that I can get back emails that still are in the in_tray but once they are in local folders they disappear from the Yahoo server. 2. Is there anything else significant I should be aware of before migrating? There is a backup on Mozilla but I prefer a clean install.

My firefox version: 124.2.0 My phone: Xiaomi redmi note 13

The problem: This problem is most prominent when I want to listen to music on youtube while having another app open. I have "video background play fix" add-on. Interestingly, just going to the home screen keeps the song playing, but once I go to any other app (tested with discord, whatsapp and veryfitpro) the song stops playing. Then I go back to the app and it reloads the entire website and the song is at the beginning waiting for me to press play. I've tried different battery optimization strategies in the app's settings and none of them worked. Tried clearing the cache.

Even after numerous Uninstalls and a Reinstalls I keep getting this error notice when trying to open Firefox...

In Firefox Android, Could you add an option to disable the display of the message "Entering Full Screen Mode" when entering a full screen mode for a web app such as an online video player? I find it annoying because I can clearly see that the video player is in full screen mode and the message just blocks whatever I'm trying to view in the video player like the subtitles of a video.

I received the new version, Version 115.10.1, and the next morning I have emails going to other folders, 1261 junk files that had already been received over maybe the past week or so all received again AND not filtered to the junk folder but rather to the inbox. 2 emails moved from inbox to another folder. Train wreck.

I like to read, file, or delete my email when it arrives. Suddenly my inbox showed 18,642 unread emails! I've read them all, but I cannot figure out how to return my count to 0 without deleting each one individually. I don't know why this happened. Can anyone help me return my count to 0?

Am I able to pin a podcast app player that is no longer available in the Google play store nor has an email or website? I would like to put it on my homepage as I use it all the time.

One day last week one of three of gmail accounts stopped working in Thunderbird; I can’t send or receive email. I have not changed anything that I know of in either Thunderbird or the Gmail account.

I just checked the email account using a Chrome based browser and it works fine (sends and receives). I have attached three screen shots. Two in Thunderbird and one in browser.

The one from the browser shows I have Thunderbird I have given access to Thunderbird to my gmail account. From the two in Thunderbird one for signing in and the other one with the error and a broken robot drawing is what I get when I select next on signing in.

Thunderbird is is displaying 24hr in emails and calendar but the system is set not to used 24hr I'm running Linux Mint 19.3 (64-bit) Thunderbird 102.11.0 (64-bit).

Whenever I open my Thunderbird email application .. its constantly asking me to re enter all the passwords for the email accounts I have within the app .. I even select to save the password but its constantly asking me to enter it than i enter it and a minute later again it loses sync with the server and i have to re enter it again and again for each email I have linked within the app

It's ough to get all the photos and all the previous Facebook accounts back The next thing I want to ask is that I want to remove all the hacks, please help me to get out

When I run firefox on WSL2, buttons dont work on any pop up windows. Foe example when installing a firefox extention - it will download and pop up a small window at the top right to add the extentionto firefox. The buttons dont work. Another example is when opening up the firefox menu bar (hamburger bar) - it will pup up a small window to allow to open up settings, go to add ons, open bookmarks or history. The buttons dont work. Last example is the pop up window for this Ash your question page for firefox support - When clicking "Which topic best described your question - it will pop up a small window to select what type of question Im gonna ask. The buttons dont work.

I dont know how to fix this. I restarted, deleted my firefox profile, started of safe mode, nothing worked. How do I solve this issue?

When send a calendar event to an Attendee list I get an email notification if they've accepted or declined but I cannot see the status in the actual event. I also cannot manually update the attendee status. I should be able to see attendee status in the event shouldn't I?

Using Thunderbird 115.10.1 on Ubuntu

I am getting about 50 phishing e-mails a day. They are as obvious as can be, but becoming a pain in the ass to mark as junk. None of the sending e-mail addresses are real and they all wind up with DKIM=fail. I am not finding a solution I am happy with, having considered 1. a Thunderbird add-in that checks DKIM - it has mixed reviews, and I have some clients whose e-mail systems do not respond to DKIM verification 2. SpamAssassin - not quite sure what this does, and I really do not to add another layer 3. I have enabled - in Thunderbird's Account setting and elsewhere - junk filtering, but it shows no signs of being successfully trained despite having manually marked hundreds of phishing e-mails as Junk. 4. I do not see how to create a filter to catch these (I am assuming looking for DKIM=fail in "body" would fail as "body" refers to rendered e-mail contents, not the raw format.

Help would be appreciated. Jonathan
