Trying to create new "list" in my Twitter account. First click in the Twitter procedure brings up a Firefox box <Continue to Firefox accounts>. How can I get rid of this and continue with the Twitter procedure? Thanks in advance.

Well, after I thought I had fixed my Problem, I got a big surprise. A friend came by and I was explaining what I did so we had a look at the Account Settings. When I pulled up the SMTP settings I noticed that the Port selection had been changed back to 587. I checked the other Gmail accounts and they too had reverted to 587. Bear in mind, I had previously changed all the accounts SMTP ports to the default, 465. Now, the question is, “How did the ports revert to 587. 587 is the port chosen when Thunderbird sets up a gmail account even though it shows the default as 465. Does anyone know how this could happen? Joe

I am not sure how to describe this problem I am having with Firefox, e.g., when I tap Ebay icon it goes to Ebay BUT only in Spanish? Will not allow me to do anything but view everything in Spanish? This just happened several days ago and I am suspicious that I have been hacked? This only happens as far as I can tell with Ebay? Now add this to equation, happens with Google browser also? However, it does not happen with Microsoft Edge, with ME I can get to Ebay in english?

I don't know how to fix this, one more thing, even when I do a search on web for Ebay I only get the search for Ebay in Spanish - in other words I cannot get to Ebay english? Tell me what is wrong here?

I try to open Roblox from Firefox and when I attempt to play a game I get a prompt and I choose Roblox, then click OK, but then it doesn't seem to get passed to the application as it simply opens the home page in the app.

I am using Firefox Nightly if that helps.

I have been a Firefox user for years and use it on both my iOS and macOS. I know that once you delete/close a tab in private browsing, it goes away for good in most cases. However, on this occasion, I never closed or deleted any of my tabs that I have held for months and months organizing my tabs for years.

Today, when I opened my Firefox on iOS, all my tabs (both private and regular) were gone. And I cannot find a way to get them back.

When loading Roku dot com, Firefox 111.2 (29672) freezes the site. Menus of roku won't work and scrolling isn't limited and will eventually freeze for minutes. This happens on other sites too, not all. I tried desktop and also turned off enhanced protection to no avail. I complained on the Apple Review page and a developer responded saying to report it here.

Does anyone know why some sites say to use

Cannot print Lanscape mode from Firefox (Mac OS 12). Can print Landscape from Safari on Mac and can print Ladscape from Virtual Windows 11 Firefox (Parallels) same machine using same USB connection. On Mac there is no choice for Landscape printing. Need this to print spreadsheet type content page. Other apps have not trouble with this, such as Numbers etc.

Firefox has been my go to browser for many years but this problem is causing be to preferentially use Safari. Help appreciated. J Veenstra

When I installed FF on this laptop, I imported successfully my bookmarks, but for some reason for one particular (large) folder, its bookmarks "Description" field was not imported.

I have both the HTML and the json backup bookmarks files. With the HTML file I can copy and paste individual bookmarks and descriptions, but I have probably over 1,000 bookmarks in this folder.

I have set up a few filters, which have been set for many years and worked fine. But recently I set up a new one for payslips, and it only ever works when run manually. I tried changing classification, Subject matter and all other rules, but it refuses to work at anytime except manually.

Hi I have multiple email accounts setup in Thunderbird. My problem is that when I receive an email addressed to more than one of my accounts, if I reply using the reply button in the email preview pane, it sometimes using a different From account in the reply than the one I am replying from BUT does not happen if I use the Reply in the right-click context menu or the Message->Reply option. So I setup identities on each account and selected the "reply from this identity" and typed in the that profile email address to try and fix it. The problem still occurs when using the button in the preview pane BUT does not happen if I use the Reply in the right-click context menu or the Message->Reply option. Why is that and how can it be fixed? Can I remove the reply option in the preview pane somehow? I think this problem might be new as I have not seen this behaviour before and have always used . It appears that it chooses the first of my accounts listed in the recipient list of the email to place in the From field. Again this does not occur on any other Reply option I tried.

Im new to Thunderbird as migrating from Outlook 2019. Using Tools->Import->From Ouytlook and choosing just Mail Click Import and Windows Defender pops up everytim I try stating Trojan:Win32/Vigorf.A

When I asked WD for more info it tell me its this file: file: C:\Users\wayne-local\AppData\Local\Temp\mapiattach.tmp

I delete the file and try again and the file is recreated by Thunderbird, so is it Safe to allow the file? The Import does nothing at point Windows Defender blocks this file?

I know this has been addressed before, but I cannot find a solution that resolved the problem. Firefox is using a high percentage of ram and setting up individual resource demands for each tab. I have cleared the cache and refreshed Firefox with no resolution. At times this will freeze my computer if I have a lot of tabs open. I have compared the tab resources between Firefox, Avast Secure Browser and Edge. The other two use no where near as much resource.

I am running a Lenovo P1 I7 processor with 16GB RAM

When I go to Settings > Set as default browser, it opens in the wrong settings page (app settings, which on this phone is separate from default apps). I have repeatedly set Firefox as the default browser under Default Apps, but I think the app can't recognise this as it can't complete the action from the Firefox app Settings.

I have a Huawai P10, I think it is Android 7.

If I can't get this to work I'm going to have to stop using Firefox as links default to open in Browser and it just gets muddled. Which is frustrating cos I just spent time getting it synced up with my laptop, and I like the desktop version!

Hello, Talktalk changed the settings for my emails on Thunderbird, which were changed successfully except for gmail. I receive them ok, so the incoming settings are good, but can't work out the outgoing settings - see settings below. My ISP is Talktalk.net. I use a MacBook Pro, Operating system: MacOS Catalina 10.15.7, Thunderbird version: 102.9.0. Many thanks.

Thunderbird thinks it has an invalid filter to a folder that does not exist. No, I do not have a folder "Junk-1" No, I do not have a filter that references "Junk-1" No, the file "msgFilterRules.dat" for this account does not have a reference to "Junk-1" Yes, this happens EVERY, SINGLE, TIME, Thunderbird is opened. Yes, this happens with 102.9.1 (32-bit) as it has for the last couple of years. Suggestion, since Thunderbird can not show the filter that does not exist, maybe it could DELETE the filter from where ever it a hallucinating it and move on.
