I just had to clean install Firefox after having problems. I've pretty much set it up how I want it, except when I quit Firefox and then re-open it all the tabs come back. Which I don't want. The box in the settings page for opening with previous session is unchecked. What else am I missing? I re-started my computer just in case that was an issue but the problem continues. Thanks

My email accounts were moved to a new server, and the outgoing and incoming settings changed along with my passwords.

I have entered all the information several different times after rechecking, and I still get the same error message that says Thunderbird failed to find the settings for my email account.

I setup the email accounts in Mail with no problem using the very same server information and password

Since October 18, 2023, emails using Thunderbird will not 'Send.' My nephew, who is very good at technology since that's his job, did change my Inbox to 'imap' from 'pop' as that's the direction my server, Spectrum (aka Charter) has gone, so I'm receiving messages. I"ve called Spectrum twice, but they haven't been able to help me, as their people aren't well versed in third-party servers. The 'Send' is still a problem, which he thinks is something going on between Thunderbird and Spectrum's server. Please advise. Thank you.

I've snooped the Help section but can't find/understand an answer! I have my Composition set to Default, but whenever I forward an HTML email (often a publicity piece) to anyone it places it inline as text, as below. So what should I change to always send the 'pretty' version?

Hi,

I'm having a issue with the current Thunderbird not saving my Gmail account when added.

So, I add it, when I close Thunderbird down and reboot it the Gmail account is gone.

I have three other accounts working fine (A domain name, a Hotmail, and a different Gmail account)

Any idea's?

Thunderbird 115 destroyed existing emails in several accounts !!!! Compacting folders removes emails Deleting emails leaves data in the folders etc, etc, etc.......

where can I get a download of the last trouble free flatpack version of Thunderbird

Is there an automatic removal to go back to the previous version

I can receive emails but I cannot send emails with Thunderbird. When I try to send an email I get the error message: "Login to server smtp.office365.com with username info@mybusiness.com (not my real email address) failed". When I click on "Enter new password" nothing happens, the Window to enter the new password doesn't pop up just the same error message as above appears. Already tried everything I found in the forum as I see I am not the only one with this problem but nothing helped so far. Changed from OAuth2 to Normal password, deleted the OAuth and SMTP lines in Settings-Security-Saved Passwords but no difference... My system: Windows: 11 Home 10022631 Build 22631 (all updates) Thunderbird Version: 115.51 (latest version) Firewall/Antivirus: Windows Defender (all updates) 1.401.1565.0 Mail provider: Office 365 business (business email address: info@mybusiness.com) SMTP Settings: Description: name@mybusiness.com Server smtp.office365.com Port: 587 Security: STARTTLS Auth method: OAuth2 User name: name@mybusiness.com (see attachment) I hope someone can help me otherwise I have to use Outlook in which btw I can send emails and as well with my Gmail mail client so the problem is definitely with Thunderbird. Videos can't be played at higher playback speed Bug

On firefox, I cant play videos at higher playback speed or it'll only play audio or video will endlessly buffer. Using user-agent spoofer and changing to chrome makes it a little less worse but still the problem sustains. On Brave, the video doesnt have any effect of higher playback speed rather it'll make the video buffer and have very strong red contrast.

Starting on 12/1/23 Firefox browser on Windows PC is Not Responding while loading up bookmarks toolbar. Switching to "Never Show" is only way to load the browser. Trying to open or manage bookmarks freezes up the FF browser again.

I keep getting pop-up asking for credentials to sign in that goes nowhere (and not impacting my accessing my email). Each time I close it, it pops back up. See attached.

I had a fairly sophisticated set of Search Folders set up on custom tags - I guess, long story short, there were a lot, they were complicated to set up, and now they're gone.

I changed IMAP server on the account and on restarting T'bird as requested - they'd gone.

I went for a backup to investigate what had changed - and, discovered all the Search Folders saved as: `[profile] > Mail > smart mailboxes > tags.sbd > [search folder name].msf` Also, there are corresponding directories under `tags.sbd`.

So, my question, why aren't they working and what do I need to do to make them work again? I did a comparison between backup version from before the IMAP server change and there does appear to be some minor changes to the contents of the `[Search Folder name].msf` files.

Also, why does the directory containing my mail messages: `[profile] > ImapMail > mail.gandi.net-maildir` Retain the name of the previous IMAP server and not the new one - and, I guess it's more aesthetic than anything, but perhaps it's connected to the disappearing Search Folders. Anyway, can the directory name be changed?

After my PC rebooted, firefox will not open unless I rename the EXE to something else.

Steps already taken 1) Refresh firefox 2) reinstall firefox (including after wiping all data from PC) 3) delete parent.lock 4) check Microsoft account - I am NOT content filtering. I am the sole user in my "family" and the app lists me as the organizer. I have zero way to even set UP content filtering.

I am at my wit's end. I can't set it as a default browser because the EXE doesn't match.

Stop tabs from automatically refreshing to top of page. Many people have this problem and I don't find a fix. One article states to go to Options and "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page," but I can't find options.

Foxnews.com causes Firefox 102.0.1 to freeze when scrolling pages with lots of images. Closing and restarting FF does not help. The freeze reoccurs. What does help for awhile is to delete the file places.sqlite. After that FF runs for a few hours until the problem happens again. Is there a setting or other fix for this issue?

AdBlockPlus and uBlock Origin are both installed, but are disabled on www.foxnews.com.
