First, check "DeIete cookies and sitedata when Firefox is closed" from Privacy & Security in the settings.

After that, register the Google domain as an exception with "Manage Exceptions".

When I restart Firefox after logging in to Google once, the Google registration information disappears even though I registered the exception, and I have to log in again.

However, there are some sites where my login information will not disappear if I register as an exception.

How can I prevent my Google login information from disappearing even if I restart with the above settings?

Tried to reset settings. Does not work. Went to about:config, than tab.mo / print.tab_modal.enabled set to false. Did this method before and it worked. Now this method does not work trying to get print preview back. Firefox is my web browser. I am in windows 8.1. Seems like Firefox did some updates again and now I can not get print preview back! WHY DOES NOT FIREFOX LEAVE WILL ENOUGH ALONE WHEN THEY HAVE SOMETHING GOOD? Bring back the old classic print preview button back and leave it. Now how can I get the old print preview button back???? Where or to whom can I send a request / recommendation / beg to get the Firefox browser actually to change something? I know what the community will say -- asked and answered. And no disrespect to the community at all -- it's very valuable and has been helpful to me -- but I am interested in putting this request before someone at Mozilla / Firefox who actually has the authority to decide it and do it.

FYI, not to be too mysterious about it, I think the Privacy & Security setting on Notifications would be improved by putting in a permanent option to let a user stop notifications when he or she has taken a screen shot. Allowing it to be paused now requires the user to go back in and change the setting each time he or she opens Firefox. For me, that's dozens of times a day.

On a broader scale, why not give the user the option permanently? We are, I hope, a land and community of people who prefer choice over mandates, even partial ones, when the substance of the choice or mandate does not pose a risk to others.

using firefox, utube has dropped the feature of being able to remove timestamps on transcripts. Has anyone figured out how to get them back as an option to remove them? Thanks for your help.

But having that experience, I felt started to hesitate downloading your installer of mozilla firefox but I nahhed it to continue installing until I successfully installed mozilla firefox.

I just concern.

Windows 8.1, Firefox 99.0.2, eMail program part of Microsoft Office365 (deployed by university IT department) Login process worked fine for a month or so after implementation of a 2-level authentication (password plus a second method of user's choice - I chose a USB-flash device which [on request] sends a code for 2nd verification). All of the above still works, except that once logged in, the system asks me if it should remember me, or not (i.e., store a cookie or not, for future convenience). I always click "No". Now, when I do that, I get an error number 500, which is completely non-committal: "Something Went Wrong" - with a long garbage code. (See attachment for sample.) Results of tests to see what's wrong: 1) works fine (able to complete eMail login) under Microsoft Edge; 2) works fine on my laptop, running Windows 8.1 and Firefox 94; 3) on the 'problem' computer (desktop), I uninstalled Firefox 99 and downloaded/installed Firefox 93 - "500" error persisted. Just today: removed Firefox/Mozilla (including all folders/files, and Registry entries) then re-installed version 99. Still doesn't work. Let me know what else you need to know.

This map use to always pop up with the village map right away and no need to enter the name of the town.

I have a backup on my portable drive, where the F.Fox files cannot be deleted, not with WinRar either, they cannot be renamed. These are system files for F.Fox. The folder location is AppData/Roaming/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/ggsw864i.default-release/storage/default. In this folder I have had several files that belongs to the long file name category. They are compressed, cannot separate them by opening and cannot rename them for to assign a shorten name. There is no Properties to open. The files starting string: https+++ I have several data on this HD and it would be a huge task move the content then reformatting the drive. I did try the Windows Command Prompt rename method - it does not work either. Any help would be appreciated!

UAC notification pops up every time I try to open Firefox since last update on 5/5/22. I've deselected all options that run the program as an administrator, but it still shows up every time. I've checked that no admin is selected in both the shortcut I use and in the program itself. Any suggestions?

Why does the current version of firefox have a download manager window open very time a new download is initiated? This is a nuisance. It is typical for me to download many small files in a session and having that window open every time, and having to click it away is a nuisance. Is there a way to disable this feature I haven't found?

For the first time in a week I went directly to my GMX account but couldn't se my emails, contacts or any information other than the form layouts the pages are blank, however in Opera everything is seen. Also for many months Firefox doesn't allow the Recaptures to load so many sites, and services like sending of contact forms, wont work, its extremely frustrating as Firefox has all my passwords. I could go to Pale moon is the PW's can be shared as a FF user of over 20 years it is my preferred browser and would appreciate these issues resolved please.
