Our computer did an automatic Mozilla update a few days and now the hyperlinks within emails in Outlook will not open in Firefox - an error message comes up saying Application not found.

We have repeatedly updated default programs in Outlook, Firefox and Microsoft Control Panel default applications - they keep reverting to Unknown Application upon restart.

We had a problem with pdf's not opening at all after the update as well and similar problem with it reverting after restart, however have fixed that (we think) through Adobe's settings.

Any idea what else we can try re hyperlinks?

Thanks

Hello,

Starting yesterday, when I try to go to google.com in the firefox browser, I am redirected to a url for Google that is in the following format: https://www.google.com/#spf=************* [asterisks represent a string of 13 numbers]. I dont get this when I use other browsers to go to google.com. i have run updates and cleared cache and cookies all to no avail. I also have run all updates on firefox and google apps.

Anyone else experiencing this? Any idea why all of a sudden I am seeing the spf snippet added to the google.com url? Any idea how to fix the matter? And perhaps it is a benign issue, but I wanted to learn more so I can know whether or not to pay it any mind. Thanks!

I'm using an Android phone, Android 8.1.0.

Facebook pages besides my home and profile pages in desktop mode allow me to click on "Show more" to page down on a page I'm visiting, but it remains on the first page or goes to the first page.

I can't get past the first page unless I switch off desktop mode. Then it doesn't allow anything but "like" as an interaction with a post.

This might be hardware specific since I just switched back to an older phone from an Android also version 8.1.0. This is a Motorola E5 (XT1920DL) software variant tracfone, kernel (gcc version 4.8) The phone without the issue is an LG L423DL software version L423DL10p.

I don't expect an answer since it's so specific to this odd case. I want you to be aware so testers can poke around.

Thank you very much for your help and hard work. I appreciate you.

I can start a youtube video but the mouse will not click on "skip ads" or pause the video or move the video to different times within the video. The same thing happens on other sites, for example I can click on walmart.com and then all other clicks will not function cannot proceed any further within the site. I have uninstalled/reinstalled firefox, I have tried safe mode and I have disabled all add ons. I use the default theme and nothing works. This was not an issue prior to the most recent update. The only way for me to post this is via Edge and edge is crappy.

Whenever I try to play a GDrive video in desktop mode, the video player doesn't show more control options as they show in desktop or in other browsers if desktop mode is enabled. I'm sending screenshot of a GDrive video in Firefox desktop mode and Opera desktop mode to help you understand the problem better. You will see that opera desktop mode has more video player options as if it's true desktop mode but same isn't the case with firefox as it doesn't show options to control speed of video or change resolution.

Colors are distorted in MP4 video as you can see in the attached screenshot. The distorted colors impact video on many sites including yourlearning.ibm.com, webex.com, twitter.com, mlb.com, etc. They do not impact youtube.com which displays video correctly. My Firefox version is 68.10.0esr (64-bit) and my OS is RHEL 7.8, kernel version 3.10.0-1127.13.1.el7.x86_64, Gnome Version 3.28.2

I have tried running in safe mode but the issue persists.

How do get Firefox to display MP4 video with correct colors?

Google Ongeveer 37.400.000 resultaten (0,53 seconden) Zoekresultaten Vertaalresultaat Nederlands Engels

Hi, we have a Media Market here in the Netherlands and there is a complaints page, it unfortunately does not work or does not work well with firefox and I unfortunately had to install Microsoft Edge to continue my complaint. The first choice block that you have ordered about which your complaint is about is not clickable and that is very strange, I have tried everything but cannot get it done. The page works in android and also via other explorers. Would like a solution / advice.

best regards John.

Has the behaviour of Firefox with regard to caching style sheets changed in the newest version?

I ask since I develop with Visual Studio and browse the development build with Firefox. Hence the URL will be similar to:

http://localhost:55223

If I modify a css file in the build and refresh the page in Firefox it does not change. It never changes even after a CTRL+F5, nor after starting a new session.

If I browse the site with Edge it does pick up the change instantly after tapping F5 to reload. To see the changes in Firefox it's necessary to rename the css file to force a reload of it.

This only seems to have started happening since the latest build and makes it impossible to use Firefox in the development environment. Is there a "hack" for the settings to force a reload?

So I'm using Firefox Browser Developer edition.

Ever since it updated to version 80.0b1 (64-bit), the dialog kind of pop-ups or tooltips or however they're called, are not showing properly, on sites like Facebook and other forums I use.

As you can see in the image, if you're typing on the text field, when you click the Emote / Emoji button, the pop-up window should be shown right below the text field, however ever since the update, they appear at the top of the page, making it impossible to use if the post I'm commenting on is deeper in the page.

It's really annoying, and that's just an example, but there are many other dialog kind of windows that are behaving similarly.

Deactivating add-ons didn't help.

This wasn't a problem before the update. Is this gonna get fixed? What is affecting its proper behavior? I'd appreciate any help.

Posted comments on a blog (specifically Mail Online Peter Hitchen' Blog) frequently, but not always, fail to appear. Moderation can be excluded on the evidence that repeating the same comment later will sometimes succeed. Other people are clearly affected since there are sometimes complaints. I have the impression that comments made during 'office hours' are more likely to get through, but this by no means guarantees success. The problem seems to have got worse lately, though it was occassionaly evident from the beginning (3 or 4 months ago when I started to contribute).

This could of course be entirely the fault of the blog side of the intercourse, but is there anything I can do on the hither side, as a user of Firefox, to mitigate or solve this problem?

While the autocomplete feature in Firefox works fine in most cases, it doesn't in some forms, even if the `autocomplete` attribute for `input` tag is `"on"`.

I suspect it's related to the timing and condition the value is saved as form history. When does Firefox save text entries as history? Does that work well with dynamic websites?

I like to read articles in Wikipedia, I could spend hours doing it, but every time I click on a link and then go back to the previous page, the site reloads wherever it feels like and not in the same place that I opened the link. That is very annoying because I've to scroll and re read to see where I was the link that I opened to continue reading. A few years ago I used Chrome and tried Firefox and Wikipedia worked fine so I kept using Firefox.

Is there a way to fix this issue?
