Three days ago I updated Thunderbird. I have four email account, three of which are hotmail accounts. One, the most important, is with my domain name server with GoDaddy.
All hotmail accounts came though just fine.
My domain account inbox was completely deleted, including from the server. When I log in directly with that account, there is nothing in my inbox excepting the emails I received yesterday and today 31 July 20). All other folders are intact. I was forced to use MS Office 365 in an effort to recover my emails, but I won't know if that will work for a few more days.
Another issue is that I can no longer send from my business account. This is the error message I get when trying to send an email with a pdf attachment:
