I have a very good PC (5800X3D, 7900XT, 32GB DDR4 3600), but Firefox (either the normal, canary and nightly version) can't play smoothly any 4K video (like the Borderlands trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lU_NKNZljoQ ). 1440 and lower resolutions are fine, as are 4K videos on Chrome and Edge. FWIW, my CPU during 4K playback is barely used (1-2%), and my GPU's video codec (VCE) is used by around a third. Disabling HW accel makes things better, as it still stutters but it's (barely) passable. I already tried creating a new profile, but still it's the same.

There is nothing wrong with the page, as it is rendered perfectly in Chrome.
In addition, this page doesn't display at all on the phone. When I click on the link it asks me to download it and then asks me which app I want to open it with - instead of simply rendering the page.
I have seen some old threads on this topic, it looks like this issue haven't been resolved for few years.
My question is not just about fixing it in my browser but at the root cause. This page is the RSS feed of my podcast which many people want to access and many use Firefox as their browser. Unless I tell everyone to use Chrome instead.

It works properly in other apps (e.g. this dialogue).
And works okay in Gmail in other browsers (e.g. Chromium or Brave).

Dear reciever. After years of using TB and what we do think is a productive mail-tool that works for the benefits we are looking for has worked. However, the last 115- constantly freezing and shuts down. This is very annoying. It freezes at some folders from the main email-client- as we have deleted older folders integrated with this. But the problems remains. . We have done everything in our knowledge of the program but still no approvement. . Error is verified for all Google Sheets. Problem does not exist when accessing these sheets in Incognito Mode.
Error does not occur when accessing these sheets in Chrome.
Sheets is all but unusable without mouse scrolling capability.

The link looks like this: openwith://C:/path/to/file, but after update to the latest Firefox version (v122.0) the second colon from the link is for some reason removed, resulting in a path like this: openwith://C/path/to/file. This is a problem because the path it now tries to open doesn't exist. Is this a deliberate feature in the new Firefox version or is it a bug? If it is a bug will it be fixed? It still works fine in v121.0.

The latest update to seems to have resurrected a problem with saving copies of sent emails. Sending works fine, but copying of the sent email to the sent folder causes the send dialog to hang. Disabling the "Place a copy in:" option in account settings eliminates the problem. Using the "Other" option to place it in a local folder works *that is not part of a unified folder* works OK.
I have tried repairing folders and deleting the sent files inside "smart folders" in the profile, with no luck.

The last auto upgrade included a calendar function, which I switched off as I thought this was causing the problem. But now after all the messages have downloaded, I get the usual pop-up box in the bottom right of the screen telling me I have received x messages but it only half fades in and the whole PC jams. CTR-ALT-DEL does not work and I can't switch to a different window or even click on anything in the Thunderbird screen. The only thing that I can do is hard reboot the PC and switch off the router, which allows me to start up Thunderbird without anything downloading. I am using Windows 7 and Avast as my AV. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Crash reports cannot be sent to Mozilla as errors in transmission occur.
While Thunderbird is working it is good but the constant failures are frustrating.
