I've been using Thunderbird for years and have never had this problem. Since the upgrade today, after I run Thunderbird once and close it I can no longer start it up again. I have to reboot or use Task Manager to kill it in order to run it. This is on Windows 11. Please help - not an acceptable workaround for long. Optionally, how do I downgrade to previous version? I should know better than allow automatic upgrades.

Adding a couple images below, when it has started successfully it shows as one of the Apps in Task Manager. When I close it, Thunderbird drops into the Background Processes but doesn't end. I have to kill it here in order to start it again.

I am running the latest software, Sonoma 14.3.1 on my Mac Mini and the Firefox browser 123.0.1 With the last couple of versions of Firefox , after selecting About Firefox, I received the error message "Failed to check for updates" This happened a few times. I was able to manually update to the newer versions. How can I rectify the situation. My Firefox preferences under the General Heading has check for updates selected.

Ever since the last "upgrade" which is terrible I get my emails in threads. Does anyone know how to get rid of the stupid threaded messages? I've tried everything. All I want is emails to be listed in the order I received them. I DO NOT WANT THREADS

I changed my Xfinity password on Xfinity website. Now I get error message on Thunderbird.saying my imap password is wrong. How can I change my imap and outgoing email passwords to match xfinity password.

I'm a game developer working on my first WebGL game from Unity. For the past day I've been banging my head around getting controllers to work, only to discover the issue is with Firefox - my build works fine in Edge and Chrome.

What's the situation with Firefox WebGL support? Is this likely to be fixed at any point or should I inform users Firefox doesn't work (and be pressured onto using Chrome or something else myself despite wanting to use Firefox?)

I need to turn off use Firefox email mask... I can't STAND being prompted to use Firefox email mask but I can't find a way to turn off that prompt.

Your instructions for unthreading do not work. The commands you suggest do not appear in my "View" folder. And I do not want to unthreads many dozens of folders manually.

Please provide guidance on how to fix this, or I will have to abandon Thunderbird (which I have used loyally for many years) or work via the Gmail platform (ugh).

Since about one year I am unable to use Japanese input only in Firefox. When I try to switch with fcitx and control+space, nothing happens. However, fcitx-mocz works everywhere else on my computer (i.e. terminal, thunderbird, other browsers, etc.). Furthermore, I uninstalled fcitx and everything associated with it and reinstalled it according to this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1367181 (just with mocz for Japanese). This also didn't change anything. Any help is appreciated! I get this message when I try to get to the window to enter my password: 400. That’s an error. The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That’s all we know.

I can't seem to be able to edit Address Book entries in TB 115.3.3.

In fact the address book is no longer found under Tools.

I have thunderbrird on both my laptop and computer, i got home, and did my normal, and on my computer it come up with Authentication Failed, its only doing it on the computer, but no the laptop, i have version 115.4.1, on both, but howcome it only doing it on the computer not the laptop? should i re-install on the computer?? or is their another way to fix this problem?
