Hi,

Firefox will not let me switch between tabs using the mouse.

I can open new tabs but cannot navigate between them.

I can pin tabs and close tabs by right clicking and selecting from the menu but when I left click a tab to select it nothing happens.

It is not my mouse as this is working fine in other apps and navigating between tabs in chrome works fine.

I tried updating to the latest version of firefox (as at 15/11/22) but this has still not resolved it.

I also cannot get into settings or extensions as when I click on those it opens a new tab but I then cannot navigate to it.

Please can someone help as currently it is completely unusable.

I've seen nothing that specifically says this can or cannot be done. It makes sense to me, a non-tech person, though. Why -- or how if it's now possible -- can I sync certain files I select between 2 or more computers? For example, I'd like my "Documents" to be the same on my computers. But I see no reference to doing that. Sub-text: IF that were possible, will Firefox automatically sync so that the resulting file is the most recent version (assuming identical file names)? OR, will Firefox bring all individual files if they are different in any way even if they have the same file name?

After downloading the latest version of Fire Fox I cannot block email senders, delete email, or search thru my email account. I can't send a screen shot as nothing shows. There is no error message. It is just that I cannot use my Yahoo email account like I could before the download so I have had to use Chrome with my Yahoo email in order to function. Do you have any suggestions on what I can do to fix things? Thank you.

After the upgrade, I and many others cannot view the images in Firefox.

Some other browsers are not affected.

I have gone through the troubleshooting guide but still cannot view the images.

A little background info: When they upgraded the site there was a great uproar because these images were shared on many, many genealogy sites. The links were killed and the web developers made a change that redirected the old links to the new. I don't know the technical aspect.

Hey !! Mozilla, I just updated ....What happened to the compact mode for Bookmarks..Now they are double spaced they take up too much room.. Bring back compact mode or I will have to find another browser that enables a compact mode. Infuriating.

I listen to songs online from a website Naija Crawl. Some of its songs or pages crash when I use FireFox browser but work properly in other Browsers.

Where or to whom can I send a request / recommendation / beg to get the Firefox browser actually to change something? I know what the community will say -- asked and answered. And no disrespect to the community at all -- it's very valuable and has been helpful to me -- but I am interested in putting this request before someone at Mozilla / Firefox who actually has the authority to decide it and do it.

FYI, not to be too mysterious about it, I think the Privacy & Security setting on Notifications would be improved by putting in a permanent option to let a user stop notifications when he or she has taken a screen shot. Allowing it to be paused now requires the user to go back in and change the setting each time he or she opens Firefox. For me, that's dozens of times a day.

On a broader scale, why not give the user the option permanently? We are, I hope, a land and community of people who prefer choice over mandates, even partial ones, when the substance of the choice or mandate does not pose a risk to others.

So I looked for the humor in it, but then remembered that since you "partner" with the cursed WEF, it's more likely an expression of a severe mental illness that characterizes all who "partner" with them, & thus only deranged types might find funny.

Since updating to Firefox 100.0.1 cannot print any web pages. Cannot print to a printer, or to FoxIt pdf printer. Printing in MS Edge works with no problems. I have cleared saved print settings - did not fix problem. Please advise. Thank you.

Tried to reset settings. Does not work. Went to about:config, than tab.mo / print.tab_modal.enabled set to false. Did this method before and it worked. Now this method does not work trying to get print preview back. Firefox is my web browser. I am in windows 8.1. Seems like Firefox did some updates again and now I can not get print preview back! WHY DOES NOT FIREFOX LEAVE WILL ENOUGH ALONE WHEN THEY HAVE SOMETHING GOOD? Bring back the old classic print preview button back and leave it. Now how can I get the old print preview button back???? Not sure which update caused the issue, since I've been delaying updates for a little while (maybe 15 days or so). Immediately after starting Firefox, the Intel graphics driver stops working, which causes Firefox to hang on a white screen. The windows warning is something close to "Intel graphics driver stopped responding and has recovered". The only way I can start Firefox is in troubleshoot mode. I tried disabling hardware acceleration, which solves the problem but I'd like to keep using the GPU so it's not really a good solution. So I forced Firefox to use the NVIDIA GPU (gtx 960m) on the NVIDIA control panel. This worked, Firefox starts and works as normal again but within just a few hours has already caused the NVIDIA GPU drivers to stop responding once, prompting Firefox to stop responding too and hang on a white screen. Restarting Firefox fixed the problem. This might have been a fluke but I'd like to keep using the Intel integrated GPU, if possible.

I'm using Windows 8.1 and my laptop has an i7-4720HQ (Intel HD Graphics 4600) and a GTX 960m. I'm using the latest version of Firefox 106.0.2

Any idea what might be causing the problem? I haven't had any trouble with either GPU on any other occasion

On some Globo pages, the Reader View does not return the text content of a page. It does return content, but I don't know from where.

It does not happen on every page, and I can't figure out what the difference is between pages that work & pages that don't.

Is there any clear way to prevent Firefox from automatically downloading and installing updates? I had checked the setting to prevent it being done without my choosing to do so: "Check for updates but let you choose to install them" but Firefox did not comply. What can a user do if Firefox will not comply with its own settings?

In government it's called autocracy, elitism and the only ones who like it are the ones in charge. Is that what's going on with Firefox?

"Sorry, the video player failed to load.(Error Code: 101104)" - this error message happens on some sites but not others. I believe there are more than one type of streaming transmission but do not know how to determine which is failing. For example, the streaming daily report on Democracynow.org fails while the reports on http://www.bbc.com/news/video_and_audio/international does not. This has been a problem for weeks now. I view both of these sites every day but must now use Microsoft Edge (ugh) to view democracynow.org.

How can I prevent websites from tracking my mouse cursor? I was searching for the question for a long time and couldn't find any answers.

Basically. I open a site, I want to click on Back or close the tab and it sends a pop up like "wait, don't go!" etc.

Any ideas? I think about extension or option in settings/configs.

I guess like my question is very unique or was skipped by search engines.

Getting sick of FireFox, I want to search from the GOOGLE SEARCH BAR, not the address bar, but the settings don't work you can choose to have the search bar next to the address bar, but it doesn't work, the google search bar doesn't work either, no matter what setting, your search ends up in the address bar, with all the updates, they don't fix crap on here, when someone makes a complaint, FIX THE CRAP, I don't need to ask 100 people why it wont work, just FIX IT!!

UAC notification pops up every time I try to open Firefox since last update on 5/5/22. I've deselected all options that run the program as an administrator, but it still shows up every time. I've checked that no admin is selected in both the shortcut I use and in the program itself. Any suggestions?
