I just ran "C Cleaner" to clean my computer. At the end, it said to ask the browser if there is a 64 bit Windows compatible version available? It takes 21 seconds to open my browser. That seems like a long time. The message went like this "\??\C:\ Program Files(x86)\MozillaFirefox\firefox.exe" How do I know what version of Firefox I am using?

I am under a disaster with todays mess of firefox, even on chrome now to try here to get some help. I am having to redo my pc OS etc and I am needing to swap over my app data to the temporary backup pc. I know how to do that but it won't even let me start firefox as it is an older version. I install a newer version and that is one of the new version disasters I hate. I have no time to figure out how to make it look to where it is usable. I got the old pc running and found the version it had. I install that, which is an esr but it still gives me the same problem. I need my firefox working so I can use it with my original tabs and bookmarks. Or you can be like some and tell me to just go elsewhere as a fix for the mess which is todays firefox. I used to have about zero of these kind of problems. How do I get myself to my original setup on the temp pc?

2 Night ago I was on my Facebook page tonight I can not get on it say Firefox did not connect. I don't understand why because I was on 2 night ago and all was good. Firefox says it not a secure site Please help me I would really appreciate. Thank you Penny

Not sure if this is the best place to ask, but when I try to take a document from one place and try to insert it into another document, hitting Crtl-A, Ctrl-C or -X to cut it from Doc 1 then hitting Ctrl-V and pasting it into Doc 2 wipes out the margin setting arrows so I can't change the margins to match Doc 2. And my attempts to get around that screw up the formatting of the document. Any suggestions? Thanks.

The included pic shows the red screen that comes up when I hold shift down when the mail composer is up, this is one of several like errors like a hover over text one and auto save one which crash the page nearly and require reloading of the page, another error is that the close, minimize and maximize buttons are missing when protonmail site tab is both active and maximized, not when minimized, then it is the same as the rest, support and I were not able to resolve this, I picked up some Java replacement extensions and whatnot and that did not work either.

At some moment I´ve got a pretty big sessionstore file (6,6 Mb) which does not load properly. I´ve tried a few of FF versions and settings. My current version 103.0.1 64 bit loads it for few minutes and crashes when tabs appear. Some older versions loads it but after that have various problems with program interface: new tabs sometimes won´t open, no float tips when I´m hove cursor over tab header and so on. Also in such cases browser often crashes and not update old sessionstore file. I have 16 Gb of RAM, FF takes up to 5,5 Gb before tabs appear for moment and FF crashes. I have such big sessionstore file earlier (for example, 24.07.22 it has size of 6,5 Mb), but all worked fine. Maybe there are any internal setting that I have to try?

Just recently Firefox started to display a "Loading..." message in the middle of every page I go to in Breitbart.com (doesn't happen in any other website).

It appears about 2 seconds AFTER the page loads or press F5. The background goes dark suggesting it's modal. It lasts for about 1 second and then goes away and everything appears normal.

I've been told this is a Cloudflare anti-DDoS CDN protocol issue, but I'm not so sure of that.

I've started up in Clean Mode and get the same behavior.

Comments below youtube videos won't load. This happens across all browsers on this computer regardless of add-ons or being logged into youtube.

I've attached a screenshot that shows that 176 comments are below that video but none load. I'm using the latest Firefox version on Windows 7.

If I key a search term into the browser bar and hit enter it begins searching. About 95% of the time nothing happens. No message. I just notice the 'x' to stop the search is gone, and a 'retry' circle replaces it.

This has been going on for months. I have used firefox for years. I have renewed it, replaced it, removed all addons, accepted updates usually each day. stopped accepting updates. Refreshing, renewing, seems to help for a couple minutes. Deleting all history helped...maybe. I am on satellite internet. Also use chrome. Most of the time now, After I key a query in firefox, I switch to chrome and do the same query while waiting. Chrome works. Just doesn't have all my passwords and sites yet.

I am on windows 7 home premium. I have an AMD FX 6100 6-core CPU running at 3.3 Ghz. I have 8 gigs of RAM. I am not overclocking. I use Avast antivirus. A few months ago I bought the avast cleanup tool which was a massive mistake, I had already done all the things it wanted to try, it is just a nuisance. In settings, I have a message that says firefox is managed by my organization. I wish I could get rid of that. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks in advance.

How do I remove pocket from Firefox?

The published solution does not work. When I type "about:config" in the URL, then "pocket," and change the "extensions.pocket.enabled" to "false," the pocket page still shows up after I close a session or a screen asking me to sign in to pocket. I am always closing unnecessary pocket related tabs.

As I remember, one time it worked but only for two days and then the some form of the pocket page showed up again.

Restarting Firefox does not change anything. Please advise.

I'm having a problem with websites not remembering my zoom percentage settings. The zoom settings were remembering on my administrator account until recently. The strange thing is that zoom settings on websites ARE remembered in my standard user account on the same device. I am talking about private browsing only & after I close the session & reopen another Firefox session. Thank you

When I click on Next on the login page of Hulu, youtube or the Roku websites, nothing happens. No messages about wrong or unrecognized credentials. Just no action or movement at all.

I've tried every suggestion of removing "Other Bookmarks" and all failed miserably with this new Firefox, it is ticking me off, why Firefox creates these irritations for its members is beyond me, no wonder its popularity is shrinking. Whenever I press space to scroll one page down the cursor dissapears. The same thing happens when I press `. As soon as I move the mouse it reappears but this is unwanted and annoying behavior which didn't happen in the past. I'm not sure when it started happening but it hasn't been long since that. I tried restarting with all the plugins turned off but that didn't help. I'm using the latest version of FF on Win 7 x64.`

Suddenly have green frame/border approx. 1 pixel wide around entire browser window, including various movies from different sites. This is a sudden development which I did not originate in any way. How can I remove this annoying green frame?
