If I have Mozilla Firefox open for a period of time, if posting a link, or refreshing it's as if there is no internet connection.

Web links in other tabs have no problem, only Tumblr.

Closing out the tab which Tumblr is in and opening a new tab and inserting the link produces the same result as if there's no internet connection.

The only way so far to rectify the problem is to close out Firefox, then restart. There also seems to be a delay in Firefox closing. When I click on the Firefox icon to open it, a pop-up appears that Firefox is already running, would you like to close it?

Some how Yahoo jumped in and displayed a yahoo Home page with no way of deleting it. I tried installing Firfox..But it became stuck half way..what should I do to get back to Firefox ?

firefox updated itself, which normally would be fine, but now there is a PDF icon in place of my normal firefox icon, and I am afraid to use it now. Is it for real?, can I change the icon back to the old firefox one? Please let me know cause I won't use it now until I know for sure that it's ok and get it back as it was. thank you, Linda

I cannot turn on the audio input and the audio output in Discord web application when running Firefox for desktop PC. The advice from Mozilla Support knowledge base regarding how to enable microphone did not help, since there is always no access request from discord.com detected in "Preferences" -> "Privacy & Security" -> "Permissions".

I am using the latest version of Firefox (94.0.1) on Windows 7 SP 1 and Windows 10 20H2. In Discord Support knowledge base the app is claimed to support Firefox version 80+.

I wonder why the latest browser does not have a Home Button.It is easier to close the blank browser with the Home Button.Closing the blank browser helps the system restart smoothly in the next session.

In the past, there was a helpful link to the right of the address bar that enabled me to email a link to the current open page to my friends. That link is missing in the latest version of Firefox for Windows. How do I restore it?

I've noticed for some time now that when I access the history tab and see what there, there is nothing in it. In the past when I accessed it, it would show the sites I had visited. Not any longer. How do I fix the problem?

The included pic shows the red screen that comes up when I hold shift down when the mail composer is up, this is one of several like errors like a hover over text one and auto save one which crash the page nearly and require reloading of the page, another error is that the close, minimize and maximize buttons are missing when protonmail site tab is both active and maximized, not when minimized, then it is the same as the rest, support and I were not able to resolve this, I picked up some Java replacement extensions and whatnot and that did not work either.

Cannot take screenshot of problem (pop up ms from Amazon via Firefox) . . as soon as I pick up the phone or attempt any action whatsoever, the message box disappears. And since I have a fingerprint access option on, the moment my finger touches the screen for full access there is no record of the message for screen capture. Also, if I do nothing, the screen goes black (normal, with time/date etc visible) within a few seconds after the message appears . . though it is waiting for me to touch the screen at which time it reappears again for a few seconds. So it is pick up the phone . . trigger motion detection . . message box appears . . wait a couple of seconds . . black screen . . touch or pick up the phone . . message box . . black screen etc. I can of course do the fingerprint scan and have full phone features, but the preliminary nag "box message" all the time bugs the hell out of me. In the text of my "complaint" I quoted what the message says, it is not from Firefox but does have a tiny Firefox logo upper left. The small rectangular window also has a left/right "full return" arrow (grayed out each one) with a black "pause" button in between the two arrows, and it is not grayed out. However nothing happens if I touch it. In very small print under the main text (first few words of my Amazon review) is a link to the Amazon page where I posted a review of a product. The message itself that I refer to is NOT from Firefox, but is comprised of the first few words of my review headline (not all of it but most) on the Amazon product comment review page. So even though the "content" of the unwanted message is from Amazon, the Firefox logo nevertheless appears (very tiny) in the upper left of the rectangular window, so it appears to be a composite error interaction between Firefox and Amazon. How to tell Firefox to stop posting it? Or how to tell Amazon that their software is somehow involved? I haven't a clue . . ! This is a re-written complaint . . the original one resulted in an email request from "Seburo" who asked for a screenshot, but did not provide a return email address that functioned. When I try to Forward a gmail post with either a CC: or BCC: Command, my Contacts List doesn't load. Initially, I see an "X" in the right-hand corner

my default browser, after which, my Gmail worked properly. Assuming, then, that the problem is being caused by the Firefox connection to the Google servers,

I uninstalled Chrome with the Revo Uninstaller Pro and reviewed the Firefox settings.

My Security Suite: Windows Defender, Malwarebytes Premium, SuperAntiSpywarePro, CCleaner Pro.

When I load a page the first time, everything loads normally. Then if I refresh the page with CTRL-R, resources on the page (such as .js files) very often (seemingly 75% of the time) only partially load and therefore parse errors occur in the console. To reload a page, I have to hit CTRL-SHIFT-R to bypass cache and then the page loads normally again. I can also just launch the page in a private window (this loads properly), close the window and launch it again in another private window (this loads perfectly still) but it's becoming a chore to juggle with private windows only to reload a page I'm working on. I can see the resources loaded under the NETWORK tab in the console but they don't seem to be available to the page renderer or something.

Is this a bug in v100.0.2 or was I only having a bad weekend and all of this is just a random glitch that will go away soon? I've never had a problem like this with any previous Firefox releases (even v100.0) and I've used FF for approximately 15 years. It immediately began to happen after the v100.0.2 update!

What I have done so far:

- Exit out of Firefox and launch it again. - Rebooted the computer. - Site Information > Clear Cookies & Site Data - Waited 2 days for another FF release in case this was a bug and it rapidly got fixed (no update rolled out since). - Help > More Troubleshooting Information > Clear Startup Cache

Am I going crazy or?

Hi guys, lately with one of the updates to firefox I've had something new crop up and I desperately want to get rid of it. When I save something from the internet to my computer there is a dropdown box that shows up from the downloads icon, which is on my address bar. (I'm assuming this is firefox and not windows.) It just annoys me and sometimes gets in the way. Help please?

Hi there; I like Firefox and I always recommend it to others, please keep it the way it was, simply good privacy and easy to use and work with. It used to was possible to clear cookies for a specific website but now it's gone! and I can't figure out how can I delete/clear cookies for a specific website! I think even if there is a way to do this, you've made it so complicated! it was easy, just click on setting icon next to website address in address bar and clear cookies! once I tried this and it took me to other pages and ended up to clearing all my cookies in entire Firefox! and this made difficulties for me to find all my username and passwords and enter them one by one...

Please make it simple as before. Thanks.

i need to know how to edit the firefox list of "clear recent history" items to add 5 minute and 1 minute options or where i can submit a feature request, or bug request as every feature is a bug and every bug a feature

After firefox update to 100.0 - i can't use any of my addons, and cant install new one. All my current updates appears in "disabled" status, and there's no "enable" button. I have many addons, so it's the global problem.

Also, i can't install any of updates from addons.mozilla.org, i get message "Installation aborted because the add-on appears to be corrupt". All addon xpi files are downloaded without problem using "save as", also, after clicking "install" on addons website i see download progress.

Please help to resolve this issue!

I just ran "C Cleaner" to clean my computer. At the end, it said to ask the browser if there is a 64 bit Windows compatible version available? It takes 21 seconds to open my browser. That seems like a long time. The message went like this "\??\C:\ Program Files(x86)\MozillaFirefox\firefox.exe" How do I know what version of Firefox I am using?

I have been trying to log on to my router page for months! I was able to log-on once only. I have tried everything, with no luck. It seem as though Firefox is using AI within the browser for certain things... Why isn't there a better way to log-in to the Browser Page for using your router? it should not be so complicate being that many people use them.
