Just noticed the advisement of VPN being available and attempted to follow directions but had a very early breakdown. Neither "Get Started" nor a VPN icon are to be seen in my toolbar nor in my "customize toolbar" page. Kind of confused and appreciate any help!

I have been using Thunderbird for a very long time. Today is the first time I have seen this happen.

In the column on my left side that has my account and folders for those accounts it is showing 5 in my junk account. But in the preview window to the right of that column there is nothing showing as far as any entries as junk mail. It is completely blank. What do I need to do to clear this 5 from the left column Junk folder??

I have tried resetting the machine and that did not work. I even went into the webmail site for my email provider and there is no junk email showing there at all so as far as my email provider goes, it looks like everything is working there.

I'm running Thunderbird most recent version. After changing my Google password, I can no longer connect through Thunderbird to Gmail. I've tried uninstalling Thunderbird and reinstalling. I've tried deleting the Gmail acct info from Thunderbird and setting it up again. I get the pick IMAP screen, enter my new Google password, then get a Google 400 error stating "The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried."

Any ieas?

I have just set up Thunderbird on a new Windows 11 PC. So far as I can tell I have filled in the server details correctly. I can receive incoming mail. However, it fails to send emails out - I have tried a couple which I know are correct. Error message is: Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: <<snip>>: Relay access denied.

Please check the message recipient "<snip>" and try again.

(I've removed the actual mail address from the error message.) I've read the answers to previous versions of this query and made the correction as suggested. This hasn't helped. Any suggestions please? Many thanks, Roger Moore

I Paid for Malwarebytes and that started a 4-month nightmare with inconsistent support from the company EVERYTIME I SIGNED ON COMPUTERS SAVED PROGRAMS WORKED DIFFERTLY. I install a free version of Avira same problems I installed a free version of AVG same problems

The spacing of the Subject column label is inconsistent and apparently not under the control of a user. In the graphic with yellow notations, the leading space for Subject is much larger than any of the other column labels shown.

Also, in the graphic with red notations, the leading space for Subject is even larger; I "applied columns to ... Folder ..." yet both folders are not the same as the leading blank space for the Subject column header is different from the "copy from" folder.

I cannot find anywhere that this is controllable by the user. Please advise on both issues: too much space on the Subject column before the word Subject and the inconsistency of the Apply Columns To feature.

Hi. I have four gmail accounts and use a desktop pc runnings windows 11. I have been using thunderbird as my desktop email client for many years, but recently, something has changed. My incoming emails are not formatted correctly and the links in them do not work. I'm not sure I am saying that correctly, so I will attach a screenshot. I would love some advice on how to fix this! It used to be that when entering a search term in the search bar, you could use the arrow keys to select the search engine before pressing enter to make the experience entirely from the keyboard. Now, one must use the mouse to select the engine to be used. It also does not revert to the default search engine after executing the search.

I attempted to set *browser.urlbar.scotchBonnet.enableOverride* to false, and that did not work. I noticed that I had been involuntarily enrolled in an experimental study: Address Bar Update Rollout v1•rollout Address Bar Experience Update which may be the cause of this unwelcome behavior change. If exiting out of that study is possible to restore the previous functionality, please advise how to achieve this.

Please advise how to bring back this work flow efficiency.

I am not a native English speaker, so I used translation. Please excuse any awkward phrasing. I previously updated my Firefox to version 150, but my tabs kept crashing roughly every 5 minutes. To solve this, I tried installing the Firefox ESR version. However, my profile had already been upgraded to the new version format, so ESR could not read my data. I then reinstalled version 150, but now I'm having profile issues again. I can access and launch my old profile through about:profiles, but I can't seem to save it directly as the default profile. I don't want to have to repeat this process every time I restart the browser. Is there a way to transfer all my data (bookmarks, saved passwords, add-ons, settings, etc.) to a new profile that works with the current version? Or, can I downgrade my profile so that ESR can read it? I have tried copying the files from %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles, but it didn't work after many attempts. Please help me. I really don't want to set everything up from scratch again. Thank you!

Why are you trying to chase people away, after update i had to reinstall it cause nothing functioned right, now I have to jump through hoops just to install ad Guard. It should not be this difficult to use a website. I think I will move over to chrome where they actually try to make life easier and not more difficult

I can log in and fill in the password, but upon trying to log in, at the end it says "Authentication error. Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password" I believe this is because the org I'm in requires 2FA for all logins and I can't actually 2FA the login. Thunderbird automatically closes the window that I would use to log into the account and authenticate the connection a few seconds after it appears
