Is this the only way to send thunderbird an email??? If it is that's OK. I am a fairly new customer of Thunderbird. I have a new laptop and want to find out if Thunderbird has any questions forb me to answer. I think my password is OK, cause I signed in somehow. I leave my email and a couple of other tabs open when I shut down. I cannot make TB appear as a tab, it always opens full page.

I have several subscribed IMAP folders. I have a schedule set to check them every hour. But only the Inbox folder is checked. All other folders are checked only if I access them myself. Help me pls.

My bookmarks have stopped working. When I went to Edit Bookmark I found they are all empty. I can create a new bookmark as usual, but I have over 300 bookmarks that no long function that are very important to my work. Is there any way I can possibly restore them, as my work depends on them?

Hi, I have moved to a new computer and transferred my Thunderbird account to it without any problems. However, I wanted to do a backup of my profiles, etc, but the old Thunderbird backup link no longer works. Has it been discontinued, and if so, what replaces it?

When I opened Thunderbird on my PC this morning, the text of messages received no longer displays. What is displayed is a link to the website to view the message. How can I recover the display please. Thank you. Elise

I have uploaded an image of my view of the email client. As you can see, there are two columns under the red arrows. I have made them appear through a menu accessible by three dots. Somehow, I have lost that menu but touching the wrong choice and I would like to be able to access it again so that I can remove the two colums indicating the number of emails and their weight. Can you help me to retrieve that menu?

When setup the SMTP server, under the security and Authenication; only "User Name" is provided, but there is no "Password" field provided for input, please resolve this problem.

Error message says user name not owned by me, but it is! How do I fix that to use my additional email address? Why would email from two separate domains be linked, especially when I made no changes to the account info?
