thunderbird is not able to access mail.twc.com for 2 days now. Spectrum webmail didn't work yesterday, but is now functional. Thunderbird may need a fix to deal with whatever changes Spectrum made to its mail server,

currently running 153.0.1, in Windows 10 I started having trouble with web pages not working (I have auto-tab discard, so after a while the pages go dormant and when I go pack in they have to refresh) only they wouldn't refresh

I'd hit refresh and it would stay blank but if I opened it in a new tab it opened fine (noted this first in tumblr and youtube - probably since previous to last update) also opening links from an 'affected' (youtube video page that stops working) will also have those new tabs blank and eternally trying to load

then yesterday the problems ramped up; other pages start not working, not when I refresh, not when I open a new page. youtube videos will just stop loading, yahoo's inbox displays "no internet connection" warning (even when I can scroll tumblr, but the links still break) I can access those same pages and others normally in other browsers

also if I just keep working in the still half broken pages it gets to a point firefox simply stops allowing me to do anything on new tabs, it gets slower and slower, taking up to a minute to open one page (internet fine in other browsers). eternally frozen in loading pages do not allow me to access settings or react to pressing Alt, or pressing "stop loading"

I tried deactivating all extensions, I tried (and am currently writing this in troubleshoot mode) it still happens

if I restart firefox it works for a bit, and then starts breaking, timing seems rather random, (once it happened with one youtube video and one mail tab open, other time's i've opened several youtube videos a couple tumblr pages and one mail tabs (easiest to notice the "no internet connection in the mail tab)

MY FIREFOX IS HAVING AUDIO ISSUES. THE VOLUME INCREASES BY ITSELF IT HAPPENS USUALLY IF I ENTER OR EXIT FULL SCREEN MODE, OR IF THE VIDEO OR MOVIE STOPS TO BUFFER FOR A MOMENT IT WILL COME BACK ON AT 3 OR 4 TIMES THE VOLUME. ITS A IRRITATING REGULAR OCCURRENCE. IVE TRIED SETTINGS, AND UPDATES BUT NOTHING SEEMS TO FIX IT. IT SEEMS TO HAPPEN ON ANY WEBSITE I USE. (YOUTUBE, SEVERAL MOVIE WEBSITES AND CARTOON WEBSITES. ITS BEEN GOING ON FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS AND ITS VERY FRUSTRATING. I HAVE TO CONSTANTLY READJUST IT IN AND OUT OF ALMOST EVERYTHING I WATCH. HOW DO I FIX THIS ?

It was working just fine, and suddenly it stopped working. I hadn't rebooted my computer for over a month, and accidentally popped the circuit breaker the computer was connected to, so it rebooted for the first time in a long time. No other issues except Firefox will not connect to the internet when Proton VPN is running, but Firefox works just fine when the VPN is turned off.

I updated to the latest version of Firefox, so I assume that's the same thing as reinstalling it.

Proton VPN allows you to do what they call "split tunneling", where some browsers are excluded from the VPN (Firefox) and other browsers are always behind the VPN (everything else). I use Firefox as a secondary backup browser when the VPN is a problem and I don't want to turn it off.

I ran the Firefox "Safe Mode" and that failed to connect as well. I don't think it's the VPN? But maybe?

Dozens of reboots every day due to video seizures only with Firefox. Tab crashes causes those I am ordered to support to LOSE WORK. After a tab crash and restore the FF interface is frozen -- no type of input from peripherals possible. This is all supposed to be solved by Monday. If I am out of luck with FF -- just tell me. That's very simple. New machines, new OS and it's worse than under the legacy systems we support after moving up from Win 7 Pro.

I'm seeking support to try to resolve an issue that has recently started happening. I can't be the only one who is experiencing this, so if this is resolved others can benefit too. I'm not a complete novice, but neither do I claim to be an I.T. expert.

I use my ISP's webmail service to access my emails. I'm aware I could use an email client, but I prefer to access via a web browser and have done so for many years. About a week ago, I was no longer able to sign in to my webmail. I thought it may be a problem with my provider, so I checked using other web browsers - Safari on iOS which worked and Microsoft Edge (using the same internet connection, same desktop PC) which also worked and continues to work without issue. I can only think it must be something wrong with Firefox? I can access the sign in page as normal using Firefox and select my email address, but after attempting to login I always get the same error message:

Sorry, we can't sign you in just now

Don't worry, it's just a quick pause to help keep your account safe.

Instead:

   Use a device you've signed in on before
   Try again from a familiar connection
   If you're on a VPN, switch it off and have another go

I have 2 extensions installed in Firefox - Adblock Plus and Ghostery. I have already added the specific URLs to the allowed websites list (first is the sign in page, second is what it redirects to):

mail2.virginmedia.com oauth.virginmediao2.co.uk

I have searched around for possible solutions, to no avail. Virgin Media advise only signing in on their main home page, but I've never done this as its just another step and extra unnecessary clicks. I don’t want to constantly be bombarded with news, offers and promotions every time I want to check my email, so I only use the direct webmail sign in.

I have tried clearing cache, cookies, etc. Then I tried to refresh Firefox, none of which worked. I also tried uninstalling Firefox, then using CCleaner to perform a clean up and registry scan to fix any possible issues, followed by a clean installation. To my surprise, I was able to sign in to webmail OK. However, the next morning, I got the same error. The only other settings I have tried tweaking is adding exceptions to turn off "Enhanced Tracking Protection" and "Block pop-ups and third-part redirects" on those 2 web addresses.

Any suggestions or options to try would be appreciated.

После этого в мозилле не прогружается полностью окно входа на online.sberbank.ru, не видно содержимого фреймов (сейчас попробую сделать скриншот). В Microsoft Edge работа нормальная. Удаление сертификатов, перезапуск браузера и компьютера не помогли. На других компьютерах ещё не проверял. Посоветуйте, пожалуйста, что можно сделать. Windows 10, Firefox 153.0.3 (64-разрядный).

Please help, it looks like my passwords are not synced anymore on any Mozilla I use. I sue a Mozilla portable at home and a classic desktop on my office. The synchronyzation works for bookmarks, browse history and download history but not a single password is imported on my sessions ! My files are present : see screenshot01 so my passwords are here. Hello! I'm working on migrating a very old version of Firefox to a newer version, and the number one thing I want to make sure stays is the logins file(s). I went to export the CSV, and the `about:logins` page is blank! Despite this, both the key and logins files are populated, and the browser still autofills in each login as if it wasn't there. To mitigate this, I tried to export the .csv of all my logins, but it doesn't actually export. I'm not sure how to check action logs with Firefox, and I would like to grab the passwords, so I can migrate properly. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Background: On August 6th morning EST after the August 5 2026 update, attempting to use firefox lead to the window with the "end process" button so I had to close the browser multiple times and then the next time I opened firefox, the bookmarks and history were wiped. I was able to restore using a backup saved on the computer and continue as normal (aside from losing some Cookie Clicker progress, reinstalling Tampermonkey userscripts, and redoing browser extension settings) but now there's an issue with trying to backup firefox data.

Issue: Trying to back up my firefox data leads to a "There was a problem backing up. Try again in a few minutes."

When going to about:config and typing browser.backup.backup-debug-info, I get {"lastBackupAttempt":1786243812,"errorCode":9,"lastRunStep":13}

When looking at Broswer Console, there is an entry saying BackupService: Could not create C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Restore Firefox\desktop.ini: NotAllowedError: Could not write to `C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Restore Firefox\desktop.ini': failed to open file for writing (NS_ERROR_FILE_ACCESS_DENIED) BackupService.sys.mjs:4116:23 but I don't know how to address that.

High contrast setting only support 2 colors(unvisited links and visited links) as a consequence it does not support radio buttons(switches that move to left and right to turn on features). the buttons are invisible and waste hours of the users time.

I couldn't see password management page. To be specific, I click the "password" option in the top right corner lists. Normally it will show all the website that firefox saved, but now I couldn't see anything except frame. I will upload the interfance that I see. this problem happend since an update. And problem contines after several patches. The firefox version that I use is "153.0.3(64-bit)" please help!

My account setting correctly are set to store send mail in send of the account. Now: - Shoud be: a send mail goes always there - Is A send mail goes sometimes to the local send folder

Thunderbird stopped downloading gmail this morning. It worked fine yesterday. I've restarted it 3 times to no avail. It says "Connected to imap.googlemailcom..." and it's been saying that for 2 1/2 hours now. Please help.

And please respond in non-tech terms. I am an old lady and I don't understand any of the stuff in the "help" section of your website. Still running Win10 because I can't handle the learning curve to 11. Please and thank you.
