Yes, as soon as i bring the cursor to the Search box. the drop down box appears.

I opened my Home page and all of the boxes under Firefox Home Content I had unclicked during set up.

My home page is set to blank page and New Tabs the same.

I turned them back on to do as you described but the three dots never appeared in the corner and everything remained the same so i turned them off again.

Last night I went to bed and all my bookmarks were there. Today I woke up and all the bookmarks are gone on my laptop and the open tabs, add-ons etc. I am signed in. Restoration does not help (last backup is with today date). But on my smartphone I see them in bookmarks-> desktop bookmarks. How do I save them? I really don´t want to lose them.

I mean isn't there some sort of notification that can be given prior to initiating these very IMPACTFUL updates so that, even those of us who are prepared can get set and ready or just push the update off until a better time, etc. Bopping people with insane updates like this is irresponsible. Thank goodness I have layers of backups so that I could recover in a reasonable amount of time, but it wasn't the ideal moment for me to be thrown into this cauldron. I feel empathy for the firefox users who don't have any sort of backup or preperation for this kind of 'cruel' and 'unusual' torture. You do realize that at least 50% of firefox users were just completely destroyed and left to start from scratch. Someting is wrong with the thought processes in Mozilla-land devel.; I'd never run a datacenter like the way I just experienced, its unprofessional (downright amateurish) and shows a lack of forethought and planning.

When opening a new tab from my Yahoo homepage, I would automatically see a page with buttons at the top of my most commonly used websites---amazon, my email, my bank, etc.

Below those buttons would be links to about a dozen feature-length articles (each link had an image and brief description of the article) from different online news and magazine sources (WAPO, NY Times, New Yorker, Esquire, Vox, etc.) These articles were feature articles and not ads, and they varied in length.

Someone was working on updating my Windows 10 and now I can't access that page. I don't have a name for that page but I do miss it. How can I access that page again?

I recently refreshed Firefox, in the process of which all my bookmarks disappeared. When I try to manually add bookmarks, Firefox will not allow any bookmarks. When I attempted to add the information from the Old Firefox Data icon onscreen, it still refused to add or restore my bookmarks. I have checked my profile page and there is only 1 profile shown, so I cannot enable any other profile. Any ideas?

When opening firefox my home page is preceeded by a blank page. I know I've managed to press a wrong key, button, etc. Someone take pity and help an old man out.

Slideclock comes up and (for me) no matter what I do it keeps cycling back and forth and nothing happens except confusion and more confusion. I can't get away from it... It's time vampire. I don't even know what it is.

Firefox 80.0 installed on August 27, and has diverted my Google searches to Yahoo and disabled my access to the add-ons page. This appears to be symptoms of known malware. Is there a fix yet? McAfee and MalwareBytes can't find anything.

I have an item that suddenly appeared at top of my browser window that I did not add. I have attached a picture of the item. Does anyone know what this is and if it is safe and also I don't see it in add ons or extensions so how to I get rid of it?

On the page, thesudoku.com, whenever I enter data the search bar immediately takes control.

I tried the page refresh where once on the page, where one opens ctrl+R - no joy. I then tried clearing cache by going to the library and reset history, both Today and All - no joy.

I went to Edge and the page works okay, but I hate Edge.

I assume that since I have yet to find anyone else with this problem that somehow a setting was changed on my PC. Still, I am having problems finding how to fix this.
