Hello For the past few days, every time I launch Thunderbird, I’m asked to re-enter my account password. I do this every time after deleting the saved passwords in the settings, ticking the ‘Use the password manager...’ box, and restarting Thunderbird. But nothing seems to work. Do you have a solution? When I open my website, pvamarkets.com, I see a Cloudflare page that says:

“Suspected Malware — This website has been reported for potentially distributing malware.”

This is a legitimate e-commerce website. After the warning appeared, we completed a full server-side security check. We checked the website files, database, cron jobs, access logs, error logs, and file-delivery system. We did not find malware, executable files, unauthorized code, or signs of a server compromise.

Our website only delivers plain text files to customers. It does not host or distribute Windows executable files.

I understand that the warning page is branded by Cloudflare, but I am posting here to confirm the following:

Is this warning generated or influenced by Firefox or Mozilla Safe Browsing? Can Firefox cache an old security warning after Cloudflare removes it? Is there any Firefox security report or blocklist entry for this domain? What steps should a website owner take to confirm that Firefox does not classify the domain as malicious?

The warning appears before visitors can access the website and causes serious trust and access problems.

I have attached a screenshot of the warning page.

I get pages on my cell phone which also uses Firefox and saying my phone has been hacked and has "Google Security" on top. this is just one example. I am trying to see if Firefox has a screen for this.

Nothing is changed in both servers and ports. In Account Settings Outgoing Server has an option to TEST connection for server. Result failed.

An Attachment is an immage of TEST and RESULT FILED.

In this age, with broken spine and almost immovanle, it makes me very frustrated. Coud you plase reaolve this issue and make Thunderbird to work properly and peace in my mind,

I didn't know I need to keep a device on if I want to sync my old data. I read it thoroughly. This is annoying, I don't want to lose my Sync data from this because I didn't know. How do you guys retain your Sync data if I were to reset my password? My computer just got fixed and I don't like this greeting of where all my data like history and bookmarks flushed down because I wasn't signed-in in a device nor did I place a key or something.

Sometime ago, Thunderbird stopped being able to connect with my GMail and Hotmail email accounts. I guess this had something to do with the change to OAuth authentication. I then switched over to Yahoo accounts which worked perfectly until last night when I installed the latest update, i.e. 153.0.1esr (Meadow). Now, I cannot connect with ANY account whatsoever. Thunderbird just stopped working in my two Windows 10 laptops and it does not seem to work on the Windows 11, either, although I have only tried Gmail accounts on that one (without the update), as I cannot possibly be left without an email handler.

If I try to download my emails, I get a screen that tells me that I should “Turn-off ad blockers“ and “Enable JavaScript“ in my browser, but I have tried several (4) browsers as default with the same result. I don’t have either ad blockers or cookie restrictions in any one of them and JavaScript is enabled in all (it is now by default).

I have downloaded and installed “eM Client” and it works *perfectly*. However, I would loathe to have to abandon Thunderbird and get used to an entirely new program, but which is what I will have to do if this thing is not resolved ASAP.

As mentioned, I think there has to do with the OAuth authentication system.

I have even tried ChatGPT, without success!

And there is no way to revert to the previous version !!!!!

Please do something NOW, or it is, regrettably, goodbye Thunderbird!
