My bookmarks (400+) that I have accumulated over several years were all gone when I signed into my computer recently. I tried to restore them, but I was unable to get them back from all of the 15 backup points. I kept getting an "unable to process backup folder" error message. I only have one Firefox profile that I am currently signed into.

I use CC cleaner to clean my computer weekly and sometimes use the custom clean feature to clean up cookies and browsing history, but by default the clean bookmark backups box is unchecked and I have never had a problem using it before. I suppose it's possible that I may have checked that box, but I don't know if that would have also wiped the bookmarks off my browser. I am also checking with CC tech support to see if they have any answers. Suppose I may be out of luck if so.

I also sometimes go into FF settings and clear browsing history and cookies, but I don't think there's even an option to wipe out all bookmarks. I have also been doing that for years, and have never had an issue before. Does anyone know if there's a way to re-download my bookmarks from the cloud, or do I have to start all over again?

Any tips would be appreciated, thanks.

previously all the bookmarks were showing on the firefox left side , now all the bookmarks are gone . However when we are trying to import the bookmarks from other browser the option is not responding or working, So how can we get back those bookmarks?

What goes wrong with a simple tracking request on the UPS website? Yritä myöhemmin uudelleen." A quick and dirty translation is: "We cannot execute your request right now. Try again later".

This is an everlasting problem. But try the exactly same link on Chrome or Edge, and it works fine.

Hello, on my local disk I have Firefox for Windows (10) installed for more than 2 years now, and the location: %Appdata%\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.deault-release\storage\to-be-removed has more than 7000 subfolders and files that sums up to 4GB of data, dating from mid 2023.

I naturally assume that a "to-be-removed" named folder should have it's content removed by some automated task or maintenance service, right? Is this normal, or is there some bug in application maintenance / updating process?

What should happen is that the main image should change on mouse hover over one of the images from the column on the left. Also it should be possible to use the left or right navigation arrows on the main image to cycle through the images. Neither of these actions is possible. It works fine on Edge.

Hi, I’m trying to use the audioTracks API from the Web API. I found out that I need to enable a specific flag in Firefox, but it doesn’t seem to be working as expected. Even though my video has multiple audio tracks, it only shows one audio track and doesn’t list their properties correctly. But In Chrome, Edge and Safari it is working as expected. Here I am attaching the screenshots of both Firefox and Chrome for comparison. The Blank drop down is from FireFox.

How can I transfer open tabs from my old computer to my new one? Syncing is enabled, and the sync tabs checkbox is checked, but the tabs aren't syncing on the new device. I also couldn't find any separate function to load tabs.

When using the scrounger located here; https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/scrounger.html. It creates a JSON file which can be renamed to as used in session profiles; sessionstore.jsonlz4. This is exactly what I've done then copied it to the new profile location: \Profiles\jj55ob2s.Default (release) and I don't see my tabs restored on a FireFox engine clone browser ?

Every time I log in with my Firefox account on a new device, the exceptions I set under Privacy & Security -> Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Cookies and Site Data When Firefox Closes -> Manage Exceptions disappear. This should definitely be included in synchronization. Let's be clear: I don't want my cookies saved so I can log into all my accounts every time. I just want my exceptions to be included in synchronization. Firefox could also develop a tool for this: an add-on to easily add websites to exceptions. I don't want to download an external add-on and install it every time for something this simple. Nobody wants that. I also think all my settings should be included in the synchronization scope.

Try Again

After installing the Up Grade last afternoon , I can not open WEB SITES My Bank - facebook - Amazon Prime or Ebay - I can sometimes get to Sign Page but no Key ACTION Possible . Internet works in other places I go . WHY ? CAN I RETURN to the OLD FIREFOX ? If so HOW ?

On my previous laptop using Windows 11, a dialog box would open when I entered a username and password while online, asking if I wanted to save the username and password. On my brand new laptop, that dialog box does not come on screen. Id like to be able to store that info so I don't have to enter it each time.
