I run Firefox 121.0 on Windows 10 Pro. I use a VPN (ExpressVPN) and normally run Ghostery and uBlock Origin. When I log onto Townhall.com and enter my VIP credentials all is fine. However, when I read an article I should be able to access the comments. I cannot in Firefox and this is something that has occurred about 3-4 weeks ago. For years I have not had any problem like this with Firefox.

I tested VIP access with my iPhone - works fine. I tried Vivaldi - works fine. I tried Chrome - works fine. I try Firefox - fails!

I ran Firefox in "TroubleShoot" mode, with all add-ons turned off and it also fails. Even when I run Vivaldi I have Ghostery and ad blocking turned on, but Ghostery does allow townhall.com on their whitelist.

I've send emails to Townhall.com and am not getting any responses. However, I was having the issue with all devices but all have been fixed except with Firefox. So, I have no idea why this is an issue with Firefox but not with any other device.

Any thoughts?

Starting in August 2023, paying my Verizon (landline) bill has been a headache. That month I was unable to even log into verizon.com with Firefox. Curiously, the Opera browser (Blink) fared even worse. Eventually I realized that I could log in and seemingly have full functionality when spoofing as Chrome. I don't know what they f**ked up, but it must have been bad.

Since my September bill, I have been able to log in, but the page style is messed-up nearly to the point of non-functionality. See the images below. The header and footer of the "Payment is Due" page render normally. The middle section with billing information renders normally for a moment, then something happens...I'm assuming it's a JavaScript event...and the styling is lost. Clicking the Make Payment link then causes what should be a DHTML "popup" to instead render at the bottom of the page. The page scrolls down a little, but it's easy to miss the first time around. Knowing this now, I can continue paying my bill, but for non-technical users it's likely a nonstarter. Previously the payment process worked flawlessly for over two years.

I am in touch with their "Executive Customer Service", which tells me Verizon's web developers cannot duplicate this issue...which I think is a lie. I can duplicate the problem in Firefox ESR 115.4.0 (Linux) and the latest/last versions for Windows 7, including Waterfox G6.0, most with a very stock configuration (i.e. no LibreWolf).

Would anybody with a Verizon account please tell me if the bill payment process works normally for you? I assume my service being a landline makes no difference. There are several pages before actually sending a payment, and only the first page is relevant to this post.

I did a little web development years ago, but the current Verizon site is a bloated mess. I think they even track mouse movements, causing uBlock Origin to SCREAM. If this issue doesn't resolve on the Verizon side I will eventually solve it myself. If any non-Verizon customers have troubleshooting suggestions, though, I am open to ideas. So far I installed the Luminous addon JavaScript event troubleshooter, but haven't had time to learn it.

Thanks.

Hi, out of nowhere my Firefox has stopped loading any pages for the past hour. I have read the existing community articles and cleared all of my history, cache, cookies, and restarted my computer 4 times. Firefox is up to date and was working fine up until I left my computer and returned to it an hour ago. I haven't downloaded anything new or clicked anything weird, I was just listening to a regular podcast this morning. All websites either show up as left-aligned text with no images, or are completely blank. This includes Gmail, Tumblr, Youtube, EyeBuyDirect, etc. All of these sites load perfectly in Edge so the issue is specific to Firefox. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Edit to Update: I turned off my AdBlock extensions one by one to narrow down the issue. The problem was AdBlocker Ultimate. I disabled it and now all my websites in Firefox are working as normal.

Fore some reason I am no longer able to open support.netapp.com in Firefox Getting a time-out error >> The connection has timed out >> The server at support.netapp.com is taking too long to respond.

This seems to have started after a Firefox update earlier this year, but I don't remember with which version it started.

I have already tried to refresh Firefox, un- and install Firefox

  (including deleting various entries in "%Programdata% and %appdata%
  and registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER>>SOFTWARE. Delete the entry named "Mozilla".
                     HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>>SOFTWARE. Delete the entries "Mozilla" and "mozilla.org".
                      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>>SOFTWARE>>WOW6432Node.
                              Delete the entries "Mozilla" and "MozillaPlugins".

With no luck

This issue does not happen on any other browser (Chrome, Edge, Vivaldi) I have tried. But what I noticed on these is that support.netapp.com is automatically being redirected to https://mysupport.netapp.com/site This redirect does not happen in FF

If I enter mysupport.netapp.com manually it opens perfectly

Cheers, Jurgen

Greetings, Mozilla Community I'm reaching out to you to get assistance with an issue I'm having with Mozilla Firefox when trying to access the following website: https://strandsgamenyt.com/ I'm not sure if there's a bug in the website, if it's incompatible with some browsers, or if the browser is blocking anything, but it won't load.

Does anyone else have experience with this issue or suggestions for a solution? I've tried clearing my browser's cache and deleting extensions, but the problem persists.

I would appreciate any guidance or thoughts on making the website easier to use. I appreciate your help in advance.

Hello, this is html code:

  <div id="app"></div>
	  </div>

and this is Javascript code:
<script src="https://unpkg.com/typewriter-effect@latest/dist/core.js"></script>
<script>

var app = document.getElementById('app');

var typewriter = new Typewriter(app, {
    loop: true
});

typewriter.typeString('Home Developer')
    .pauseFor(2500)
    .deleteAll()
    .typeString('Web Designer')
    .pauseFor(2500)
    .deleteAll()
    .typeString('<strong>FrontEnd Developer</strong>')
    .pauseFor(2500)
    .start();

</script>

and this is CSS code:

#app{
  text-align:center;
  font-size:50px;
  background-image: linear-gradient(
    -225deg,
    #231557 0%,
    #44107a 29%,
    #ff1361 67%,

  text-fill-color: transparent;
  animation: textclip 2s linear infinite;
}

@keyframes textclip {
  to {
    background-position: 200% center;
  }
}

the typewriter animation with text on chrome,edge,opera is working very wel . only on firefox is not working correctly. I see firefox has some problems with gradient.in this textwriter animation on firefox the first 3-4 letters are not showing and it has strange behaviour. I tried in this way to solve the problem:

 #app {
      text-align: center;
      font-size: 50px;
      white-space: nowrap;
      overflow: hidden;
    }

    #app::before {
      content: attr(data-text);
      display: inline-block;
      width: 0;
      color: #231557;
      animation: typewriter 4s steps(40) infinite, colorTransition 4s infinite;
    }

    @keyframes typewriter {
      from {
        width: 0;
      }
    }

    @keyframes colorTransition {
      0% {
        color: #231557;
      }
      50% {
        color: #ff1361;
      }
      100% {
        color: #ff1361;
      }
    }
 <div id="app" data-text="Hello, Gradient!"></div>

but it didn't helpt . I tried many ways but the problem is the same . can some one tell me how I can solve this problem with firefox . link text any idea is welkome it has to be some way to solve this problem . I used chatgpt but it didn't help. thanks johan

Using Firefox on windows 10 pro, 64 bit

Since updating to Firefox 125.0.3 (64 bit) , I am getting all sorts of website problems with font sizes. Some are all extremely small like on google news, others have widely mixed sizes, extremely large and extremely small. Even on this page, support.mozilla.org, I have to zoom 250% to make it readable.

I tried troubleshoot mode and there is no difference. The problems are still there.

I tried the Edge browser and the problem is not there.

I didn't have this problem before the update. I tried adjusting windows and the screen dpi, but I can't find a solution. Just seems to make things worse.

Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions for a solution ?

Hello this is Don. I am using Win10 with Firefox 120.0 64 Bit as my default browser I am having a problem with logging in to The Sony Community Forum where I help Sony users. I enter my email as my Sign in ID then press enter to get to the password screen and it goes to the spinning grey circle on a white screen. My Memory and CPU gets really high and my browser locks up and I have to go to task manager and End Task for all Firefox processes to unlock it. I have no problem getting in to the website with MS Edge but I hate using it but I have to in order to sign in to Sony Community Forum and help users. I have have done a full system scan for malware with Norton, MSERT, Malwarebytes and Windows Defender. I have done a REFRESH of Firefox and I have even uninstalled and re-installed Firefox and nothing helps. I have it set to auto clear everything under History including Cache and Cookies. There is something about this Forum that for the past week will not let me in. I have emailed my Sony Advocacy leader and he is having the Web Site Team looking into it. This is the only website I cannot log in to. I have used Firefox for years and do not want to have to go to something else.

Respectfully, Don

I am using FF on a Windows 11 desktop. When I try to log into familysearch.org using FF, Avast detects that I am being redirected to https://590-buk-726.mktoresp.com. I have used both Avast and FF for years, and this is the first time this has happened. FamilySearch is a very legitimate genealogy site. I contacted Avast and they refreshed FF, and I was able to log in ok, but when I tried it again I got the same warning. I cleared all cookies - same problem. I deleted FF and re-installed - same problem. I am not getting this warning when I use MS Edge. Has anyone seen anything like this? What should I do? Thanks, Mike

I am having issues with pages on DAX Guide, e.g.: https://dax.guide/now/

These issues are when using Firefox on Windows 10. I have tried with Safe mode, and turning off Enhanced Tracking protection. I have made no changes to Javascript etc.

Issue 1 If I select a code example and try to run it in an external program (e.g. DAX Studio), it fails, and I have found that the reason is because the "space" characters are not ASCII code 32, which is a normal space, but instead ASCII 160. Another symptom of this is that you cannot unindent the paragraphs in a text editor (Vim), if you paste the code there. I have tested and this is not an issue with Chrome, Edge, or Opera. Also if I click on the "Try It" button, it takes you to a runnable version of the code where the spaces are correct. These are workarounds, but why is Firefox using the wrong space characters?

Issue 2 I have seen another response to this kind of question, but it did not exactly answer it: on the website as above, when you click on the "Copy" button, which points to https://dax.guide/now/#, the code is supposed to be copied to the clipboard, however it does nothing. This works without issue in the browsers mentioned above. I have noticed previously on other websites that URLs ending in hash / pound did not work in Firefox. Is this something that Firefox just does not handle, or is there a setting to enable it?

Thanks
