Firefox instantly crashes after installation, I've never actually been able to open the browser yet.

I've tried everything even going as far as reformatting my computer and attempting to install the browser on a fresh format, nothing is working, there is something wrong with your build (42.0).

How can I opt of out Firefox updates so I don't waste a half day repairing things each time?

Thank you,

If I click update on adobe to load the page to update Flash player it won't load. When I click on an email that takes me to a website to verify something (such as an ad) it won't load but just shows a black page. Have had numerous other issues lately including with my location not being detected despite the fact that I don't have the tracking blocking on. These issues are obviously not normal and I have been using Firefox for about three years now.

I have a remote computer that is running Windows 7 (32 bit) Firefox and java. The issue starts when java receives any update.. the machine stops function correctly for the end user and I have to remote into and re-enable the java in the browser. Is there a way to get the browser to auto accept any changes done by java, more so that the browser has been to "accept and remember"

i' tried to attach a file I found in a directory called "mozilla Maintainence Service, subdir Logs, filename maintenance service, with todays date, but it didn't work so I will paste contents below.

Also, I tried to download and install an older version of Firfox from a "stub" file already downloaded a couple of months ago, and it just got interrupted and died in the middle of the download. Also, I tried to download and install a new version of Firefox from the website and when I double click on the new files, nothing happens.

we always deploy firefox with sccm with the -ms switch. however, we are wanting to deploy firefox and disable auto-updates. i keep reading something about deploying firefox with a .ini file but i cant find anywhere on the switches or tags that need to be included in that .ini file to disable auto updates. i need everything to be the same as if we were deploying with -ms but i just need to disable auto-updates.

i also found that the actuall command line install would be something like the below:

firefox.exe /INI=<full path to configuration ini file>

can anyone assist me on this? much appreciated.

I have several workstations on my network that will not properly boot into Windows after installing the 50.0.2 update and Maintenance Service. My end users have been performing several hard shutdowns in order to get Windows to boot properly( I do not advise this). This situation has been worse with computers that installed Windows updates during the same session as the Mozilla update. These computers get stuck in a continuous installation loop. Fixes that have worked include booting to safe mode and issuing " shutdown -r" in an elevated cmd terminal, or uninstalling Firefox and Maintenance Service completely from safe mode. Do we need to discontinue use, block your updates on our network, or is there another solution?
