Sorry if this is already a problem mentioned but can't find it so here we go. If I receive an email with a link or several links and I click on them I get this noisy message saying there is no app associated with this link. This just started a couple of days ago. I didn't do anything different that I know of. Perhaps this is just a new problem with that awful OS W11.

So, any clues as to what has caused this and what would I look for in app association?

After the update to Thunderbird 128.3.1esr on October 10th I can no longer download my email. What did they change and when do they plan to fix it? The broken email is causing a financial burden on my company. Please help!

I switched to Thunderbird just last year; in the new year I copy several folders to another directory for record keeping of the previous year. So, when I click a folder under my local folders and select move or copy it always just moves that folder to the new folder and not copy. I do this to save some time and not have to recreate the folders for the new Year. Is there something I doing wrong ?

Is it possible to add additional fonts and if so what is the process for the installation.

Hi all,

In a now deleted Windows 10 Thunderbird setup, we used the Config Editor to globally set Delivery Status Notifications as true.

This ensured that every email attempted to return a delivery notification without the user having to manually request one when composing an email.

We have since shifted all our computers to Linux Mint, but I am unable to find this variable in the Config Editor.

Has this been removed?

My password automatically enters my account in my computer. It also works on my laptop. No problem. I have not needed to know the password since it goes automatically to my site. I have used the email site for many, many years & it continues to work well. However I want to put the site also on my phone. Going to settings on my computer, the password that is shown does not work when I enter it on my phone? I am not computer savvy but would like to have the site on my phone. I don't know why the settings password doesn't work? Please help. Thanks so much.

K, I know this is like really ADHD but when I right click to empty the trash there's a dot or period after the word Empty as like Empty. Trash. Is there a reason it's there or can ya get rid of that for me? Just wondering and yeah, I'm sure you have better thinks to do but can ya look at that? Ummmm... otherwise I LOVE Thunderbird as It's like the only alternative of having me mail off Server side (Cloud) based programs. Plus I used to use Eudora and I could port all of my e-mails from like the 90's to Thunderbird pretty easily. Thank you and have a great day.

ANSWERED: It IS an underscore, hidden behind the bottom of the "y" in the word "Empty". Thanks everyone for taking a look at that and getting back to me so soon on it with a positive answer. My ADHD is much better now.

On Xubuntu 24.04: In compose, the image file picker stopped working after a recent update to Version 128.3.1esr (64-bit) These images are simple png or jpg from my Pictures Folder. I double checked that all accounts all do allow html composing. The 'Choose File' Button does nothing at all. I was expecting a pop-up file picker.

I use MS 11 and MailWasherPro. Some emails showup in MWP but do not showup in TB. I have checked all the mail boxes and they are not blackmailed etc.

Wondering if I need to adjust settings in TB?

the problem is that when I receive an email it goes straight to delete folder there is no where I can set the filters to filter of my choosing, I have lost losing all in coming mails I am talking with telstra as one page said it is an IMAP problem in that it just removes emails for no reason but in your problems page it says I can change the filter settings but in the settings there is no place to change filter rules

I am getting very frustrated  after 6 hours and not getting anywhere  I have uninstall Thunderbird and reinstalled  but nothing changed 
running win 11os  on desktop

Hello, I would like to provide other users with the Thunderbird junk adaptive filter that I have developed to a certain level, but which file in the Thunderbird folder do I give them to do this?

Thanks to getting a new computer, I've been forced to upgrade Thunderbird to 115.10.1, which is fine except for a menu I've got on one computer, but not on the other computer.

See attached images. "thunderbird_right.jpg" has the menu I want. "thunderbird_wrong.jpg" is the other computer without that menu, with a search box I do NOT want.

Have gone through settings, account settings, view, etc. and everything looks the same, so I can't figure out how to get the missing menu to display -- and NOT the unwanted search box.

Any help MUCH appreciated. I'm sure it'll be fine once I'm used to it!
