I receive an email. When I reply it shows the correct outgoing email. But when the recipient replies back to me it shows sent from one of my other email accounts and his reply goes to that other email account.

Trying to set up a mailing list for emails. Not sure how to set up a group that I can use to list names and emails. Went to help. Instructions said to > open address book > select file > new > mailing list. I went to address book ok but cannot find 'File' there.

Am after assistance in getting mailing list set up.

I've read a lot of similar problems, but have not seen a solution. So I'm sorry if this is repetitive. In short, one day my vast amount of folders had emails in them. The next day, every one of them were gone from view..

When I click on "properties" for any given folder, it gives an accurate count of emails that are supposed to be there in numbers, but you can't see them. While in properties, the "repair folder" button isn't active. A mouse over says it's supposed to rebuild, but clicking on that and OK does nothing.

I did a global rebuild by quitting Thunderbird, going in to my Profile and deleting the "global-messages-db.sqlite file". Then restarted Thunderbird. The Activity Manager did show that it indexed everything, but nothing still showed up.

I made sure my "view" for both messages and threads were on "all". So that's not it either. I even tried the Troubleshooting Mode, and all it suggested was that I clear my start up cache, which I did. Still nothing.

Meanwhile, Thunderbird is receiving and sending new emails. All filters, addresses and folders are still there. Just nothing in them save the new emails I got today. I'm at a loss as to how to recover the emails the properties says exist, but hiding from me.

Specifics... Windows 10, Thunderbird version 128.5.2est (64 bit)

All of a sudden my comcast.net email is no longer accessible through Thunderbird,it claims I'm not using the correct password, even though none of the settings have changed. I can still access my email through webmail, using the same password. What's happened? and how can it be corrected thank you

Hi, I have changed my PC and in setting up Thunderbird I find I can only add two accounts. I cannot find a way to add that third address and account. I am looking for help with that, please.

Hello, I was attempting to send a message to 44 recipients and got the attached error message. I then created a mailing list and attempted sending both as To: and a CC:, and got the same error. My understanding from searching the issue is that Thunderbird has a maximum of 60 recipients allowed, and my provider, northmail.ca, has a maximum of 250 recipients allowed. I cannot figure out what the problem is, or what I am missing. Assistance would be appreciated. Thanks

I have at least one file that won't display on Version 149. However, the file and it's MSF are both still on my hard drive. I've tried a lot of things to get it to display, but nothing has helped.

Knowing that an email message should be kept below the size of 25MB, I was trying to make my attachments smaller than that. Yet when I was sending a message with no text and 1 attachment the size of 21.5MB, I got a warning that I was trying to send a message the size of 29.4MB. Where does this come from?

For 4 days, I have been unable to send an email. There is no "send" option. Also, in past, when composing an EM, my complete address book as been available in a column on page left. Sorry to bother. I'm losing a school email account due to graduation. TB is set up to sync, so an email deleted remotely also is deleted on my PC. How do I stop that, or at least copy the emails I have? Thank you.

Thunderbird lädt keine neuen Mails mehr vom pop3 Postfach herunter, aber ständig alte. Beim versuch das Konto neu einzurichten kann Thunderbird keine Einstellungen finden, obwohl die Einstellungen stimmen. Auf dem Handy (Android) werden die Mails einwandfrei heruntergeladen.

To install a Windows 10 update (I'm on extended support) I told it to update & shutdown. I fired it up this morning and Thunderbird is asking for credentials. It usually just runs & downloads emails. I enter my password, then a code from authenticator app. It shows the page below in an embedded browser window that has a checkbox and an "Agree" button. I check the box but the Agree button is still disabled. Dead end. I cannot connect & I'm stuck.

I put the URL in there and it does not retain it and use it as signature image. It is a jpg. It browses in a URL on my browser and loads fine but T/B refuses to allow it.

Mam problem z odnośnikami graficznymi w wiadomościach e-mail. Kiedyś jak klikałem lewym przyciskiem myszy to byłem przenoszony od razu do przeglądarki, w której była wyświetlana odpowiednia strona. A teraz pojawia się ikona lupy+ i obrazek jest powiększany zamiast przenoszenia do przeglądarki. Chciałbym powrócić do poprzednich ustawień, ale nie mogę nigdzie tego znaleźć. Pozdrawiam Marcin

I have a problem with graphic links in emails. In the past, when I clicked with the left mouse button, I was immediately taken to the browser, which displayed the appropriate page. Now, the magnifying glass icon + appears and the image is enlarged instead of being taken to the browser. I would like to return to the previous settings, but I can't find it anywhere.

Sometimes, my Thundermail box will upload my incoming but particially, not allowing the message to upload on my computer. (See image) I can't find a solution. It does not happen all the time. It has been going on recentl.

HI Thunderbird updated on 1/4/26 and as a result I had to sign in to my client again. My emails used to save to IMAP and now they save to POP3 as a result there is nothing at all just the current emails in the inbox. I have googled a fix but they don't work. It has also changed the layout which I can't seem to change back. I was wondering if there is a way to fix everything as I have lost all my emil folders that were saved. Thanks for the help Wayne
