For some reason my passwords went missing locally and when I went to sync them my account would not connect and the saved password was missing. So I went through the password reset process to sign into my sync account and when I resigned into it to sync, there was no passwords on the account.

Is there any backup performed by mozilla or any other way to get like a backup of the online account passwords somehow. My local logins.json files are corrupt so I cant use them.

This is extremely disappointing if they cant be retrieved.

I don't understand where to put the authentification code I receive on my phone. I have a yahoo and a gmail account. And then where do I find the code in turn to put on that screen?

So I forgot the password for my account, if I reset it, and therefore reset all of my bookmarks history etc, can I recover them by syncing again with my phone or is the account reset across devices?

I have FINALLY given up on your sync feature as it keeps adding deleted bookmarks and folders. It is so bad that all the duplication of bookmarks and folders are so random that can mount to thousands and thousands or copies.

For the last few month my Firefox on Android won't sync with my own sync server anymore. Syncing works on Ubuntu Desktop Firefox. On Android the same URL is configured and worked before.

I tried reinstalling Firefox and installing Firefox Nightly, but I cannot get it to sync: Login in to Account works, but "Last synced" either says "never" or "Jan 1, 1970".

Hi, I'm having some issue with the syncing of bookmarks. Some changes in bookmarks in one device (desktop) don't synchronize properly to others devices (desktop also). I have lost many bookmarks, names changed that don't change, disappearing of complete folders, etc. This are the last three error-sync-number.txt files I have on about:sync-log of an affected device, hope someone notices something relevant that could help me solve this horrible problem. Hi there, I have saved my google account's password in my Firefox account and its something very strong. Now I try to sync Firefox but it asks me to enter 6 digits code sent to my email but I can't access my email unless I access my passwords in my Mozilla account!

hi, i have Firefox 100.1.1 on my Samsung s10 lite and was wondering how to rename it in Firefox sync because at the moment it's name is the model code which is very confusing as my Samsung tablet has a similar code. I downloaded Firefox from the galaxy store. thanks willo

I can get the sync to work on my laptop but when it comes to the Android box, it just keeps spinning [ blue circle ]. It states on the laptop what devices are syncing but I cannot sign in onto the android because it takes me to no page... just spinnnnnnnning! *sighs* Why can't you guys just leave Firefox alone and quit making all these changes. If anyone has a better browser idea, let me know.
