Hi community!

For some reason, the short description of an email is now under the subject instead of besides it in the overview. This does something to my head that, atleast for me, makes it cluttery and hard to hover over who sent me email. I want a column with who sent me mail, then I want right of it a short description, the start of the mail, just like it always was. It takes vertical space so less email is visible and my head has to switch from "from" to "content" to "from" to "content" which is for some reason very tiring. It's one of the reasons I hate outlook... Please don't tell me Thunderbird changed into outlook -_-

How do I change this back to the way it was?

The first correspondence I had from Microsoft was to use OAuth but a later one was to use Normal Password. I'm barely tech literate but can follow clear directions. What is the latest/correct procedure? Thanks for any and all help!

I see a notification dot with the number "1" inside, on the Firefox icon - but have no idea where to go to see the notification referred to. Can anyone please describe how to navigate to the notification?

When I right click a tab and select Bookmark Tab, the "Location" is preselected from one of my existing bookmark folders/locations. I thought it might adapt to the most recent or most often selected folder; however, it seems to present the same "default" location every time I bookmark a tab - a folder I have not barely used in months. I realize I can select another folder, but it is annoying for it to select the LEAST used and my personal least favorite folder EVERY TIME, for MONTHS.

1) Is there a way to select which folder it preloads to save bookmarks to? 2) Why is it selecting THAT folder? 3) If there is no way to set a folder, is there a way to reset it or something? ANY other folder to default to would be less annoying. I do not understand why it seems "stuck" on this folder and will not preload ANY other folder from the dozens of folders.

It seems that my Bookmarks are opening SOMETIMES back onto itself. How do I adjust my settings so they don't seem like they overlap back onto each other? Wasn't sure if this was a Firefox setting I overlooked or a Windows 10 problem. Hopefully the attachment clarifies it more.

Hi everyone! I’ve noticed that while using Firefox on my smartphone, the audio quality isn’t as clear as it is on other browsers or apps. Has anyone else experienced this? I run a small website calledFix My Speaker, where we help users with smartphone speaker issues, so I’ve done my fair share of troubleshooting on the hardware side. Version: Firefox 129 Ubuntu/Debian I'm using the Proton theme in Firefox and would like to revert the tabs to their previous, non-floating style. I've tried using the [profile]/chrome/userChrome.css method and enabling toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets, but this hasn't worked. Is there another way to achieve this? When I visit jsonviewer.stack.hu and paste data into the viewer I get the following error:

TypeError: netscape.security.PrivilegeManager is undefined

Please type: "about:config" in your address bar. Then filter by "signed". Change the value of "signed.applets.codebase_principal_support" to true. You should then be able to use this feature.

As config is sensitive area of the settings can you guide through this problem with a fix? Thanks bcoleman@sympatico.ca

I have Thunderbird in 3 computers. I downloaded the upgrade this week and a lot of changes took place. Then I got locked out? All kinds of colors turned themselves on, then it kept asking me if I wanted to change a function???? I kept saying no, then yes. It continued to ask. Turned off the computer and worried if I get my old stuff back. Today it is working but incoming mail is in the lower part of the screen, old mail is in the top. How do I go back to the old version. This is my desktop

I just turned on my laptop and it asked me to upgrade. NOPE! I've used you guys for years and only made a small donation, sorry. Didn't know you have an app for my Android??? Would have tried it. Does your browser follow and track me like Chrome, which I hate. I will aways speak well of you guys even if I can't go back to the older version. See ya, Randy
