My problem is that I can't get Thunderbird to work with my YouSee email account, or vice versa. I get a message that my email address or password is incorrect but they are not YouSee can't or won't help apparently I'm running Win 11

I am no longer receiving new emails on my PC. They are coming to my laptop, but not my PC. Unfortunately, I am not able to connect my laptop to my printer; ergo -- I am now unable to print my emails

When emails arrive it shows the number received in bold in my inbox. Since the last update instead of the new emails being listed at the top of my inbox they disappear. I then have to search through all the emails listed at the top of my inbox to find out if the new emails have been added to one of those. How do I get back to having all new emails listed at the top of my inbox.

Hi... so, when I realized that Thunderbird was not able to access Outlook accounts successfully about two years ago, I was offered the opportunity to try Owl as an add-in, which did a splendid job at the time for accessing my Outlook email and saving it/using it within Thunderbird.

But now it's my understanding that Thunderbird supports Outlook email natively, and I've dumped Owl (including turning it off as an add-on within the software), and I cannot receive emails. I tried resetting the password using the method of "deleting the password from the passwords list so that Thunderbird asks for it the next time", but it continues to check for the email at that address, tells me there isn't anything to download, and won't import the mail. I have to be missing something simple, but I cannot put my finger on it.

I've tried a couple of Reddit methods, also no help. Any ideas?

Hi there, since recently, I encounter the following error message when trying to send emails via Thunderbird on my mobile: Failed to send some messages. Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable DNS MX or A/AAAA resource record 1MgvvT...

The SMTP server settings are as shown on the attached screenshot. I haven't changed them since installing Thunderbird and the problem appears for the first time. Thunderbird version is 15.0.

Is there anything I can do about it, e.g. by changing my Thunderbird settings? Since gmx.net is a webmailing service, I cannot change their server configuration. Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks a lot to all of you!

Hi guys I do have various email address from hotmail and Gmail. After outlook did not synchronize all of my Hotmail mail accounts I wanted to switch to thunderbird.

Now I do have the following issue. I want to add a Gmail account into my thunderbird. After typing in email address and password I am being redirected to Google.. I click on further and then I see a white page and the website is not loading at all. Once i go back to thunderbird it says login not possible with OAuth. Whatever this means. How can I solve this?

Pop-up with Thunderbird icon: "Enter credentials ... on imap.mail.yahoo.com". I have spent many hours and only made things worse. I can still access mail via webmail, but not via Thunderbird.

In one email account the arriving messages arrive shown as "read". before they showed "unread" and were bold. I've tried but can't figure out how to reverse that. a different email account on the same reader shows new messages
