I have an e-mail in my TB in-box. The mail contains a hyperlink to Facebook. When I click on the hyperlink, I get the message copied above in the Subject of this problem. In almost all cases, if I re-click on the icon in the e-mail, the re-click takes me to the desired URL in Firefox. My Thunderbird is 128.11.1esr (64-bit). Why is the first click producing the error message? Would there be anything in the TB Error Console?

For the last several days, if I get an email with a link to open in a browser (e.g. a tracking number, and Amazon order, Ticketmaster order), clicking on it doesn't bring it up in my browser (Firefox). It shows a blank window.
I have the latest versions of Thunderbird and Firefox, with the current Windows 11.
How can I fix this problem?

After updating to Thunderbird version 140.0esr, I am unable to create a new email. Clicking “Write” or “New Mail” does nothing – no compose window opens. However: • Receiving and replying to emails works normally • Safe Mode does not resolve the issue • Disabling all add-ons has no effect • Reinstalling Thunderbird did not help • I confirmed I am using version 140.0esr

After loading the new update for TB on laptop, it successfully uploaded one of my 6 email accounts, my primary one protouch@comcast.net, and it works fine, can send and receive emails no problem. BUT when I went to load my other comcast.net accounts I keep getting an error message from the server. Have tried over and over and don't know what to do. But the email accounts (all of them) load and work well on the BLUEMAIL account on my phone and also on my laptop, but TB doesn't. Any ideas? HERE'S THE MESSAGE I KEEP GETTING - and I've checked all the settings and they are correct, plus I've tried it with VPN ON and OFF, same results. Bill

Same happens in the "AI Mode" option that is available in google's recent update.
And, I,m logged in.

I'm Ajay Hinduja from Geneva, Switzerland (Swiss). The update I installed three weeks ago has drastically reduced performance—everything is running about 80% slower. Every page load or tab switch now takes around 10 seconds.
Is this a known issue, and is there a fix planned? I’ve been a loyal Firefox user for 20 years, but if this continues, I may have to switch browsers.

Não consigo abrir ou visualizar as mensagens em nenhum das pastas após atualização da versão 128.0 pois as mensagens (repositório/armazenamento) estão em um servidor na rede, apenas quando as mensagens estão na máquina local as mensagens são todas visualizadas. Instalei a versão 115.9.0 e apenas nessa versão para trás que é possível visualizar as mensagens com seu repositório no servidor de rede.

Hi I recently changed over to Microsoft 11, my computer was installed and set up by Computer Help by a IT Consultant. My addresses are not like they use to be just come up names and addresses have disappeared which is frustrating. Hey, I have recently installed Zen Browser because of a friend's suggestion. Although I really loved the fresh vibe of the Browser in comparison to what I was accustomed of which is Chrome. But after some initial hassle of setting up the browser I figured one thing that although I have a 100Hz external monitor and a 90Hz Panel on the Laptop the Webpages while scrolling it felt that it was somewhere 45-60Hz. I tried the UFO Test as well but there I was getting 100Hz but whenever I visited any website (say LinkedIn or even Youtube) the page seem very very laggy and it made me switch back to Chrome (Honestly I wanted to stay on Zen only) but the problem forced me to switch back. I understand that the browser is still in its Beta Phase but still the experience I had it was not good. Hope I can get some resolution and hop back to Zen as I really want to.
PS - I have tried all the fixes from reddit pages, Hardware Acceleration, Smooth Scrolling, etc. none works.

Mozilla Firefox 115.25.0 (x64 en-US) won’t close since my previous version was updated on 6/29/25. I have tried closing it in my Win7pro Task Manager on several occasions, and had even tried to uninstall and then reinstall it from my “Programs and Features” menu, but I keep getting a message that the program can’t be uninstalled until it is first closed. Nothing I do fixes this problem. HELP

About 3 month ago when I would click on a folder that I had saved e-mails in, or when I would get new e-mails, they would be displayed momentarily the disappear never to be seen again.
Where are my e-mails as the are records of past business transaction and some personnel information. How do I recover these e-mails?

Recently I'm having an issue with Firefox that makes it so when I try to open it, it simply refuses to do so. Say on my desktop I double click the icon it will open for a split second and then instantly close and refuse to do anything afterwards. This is very frustrating, and I haven't yet discovered a solution and would really like to be able to use Firefox again. What is really strange is that this is a persistent problem not only on my laptop but at my pc as well which are two separate devices. If anybody can help or has experience with this problem to offer incite it would deeply be appreciated.
