I asked a question earlier about being blocked from a site that I frequent while using Firefox but not when using Edge. I don't use Edge much but another difference has become apparent. Many of the sites like news sites an information sites seem to take longer to open than they used to on Firefox, I can see little icons going back and forth in the tab at top. Normally this lasts for ten seconds or so then the site I was after appears. I was on Edge and noted that this was not happening. I spent several minutes going back and forth and I definitely have an issue with Firefox. I have Windows 10 running on an old desktop. I use Express VPN I use BitDefender In Firefox I use Adblock Plus, Ghostery, I use Duck Duck search

Do I need a new version of Firefox or what? It says it is up to date 121.0.1 Have been using Firefox for years and not had any issues like these. Mark

Now I have another question -- how does one get rid of a pc shot dead to eradicate Firefox?

Anyone? Huh, No? Then I guess I am 100% correct in shooting the damned thing and going off the grid to never deal with Mozilla again. Hope you all get fire-ants in your pants!

After updating thunderbird a little week ago maybe - the program began to shut down suddenly - several times. But yesterday there was no acces to mails, folders.. just an almost blank screen. Only the 'headers' are visibly - you know: 'Files', 'Edit' etc. is visbly. When the program did shut down, I did not get a crash-report. It was also in a strange way, because, I could see, that TB was open, but when I did try to acces it, nothing showed up. I could only restart the computer to get access to it again. But... yesterday everything was, as I have showed in the picture. I can't see any of my mails - and actually I have 10 different accounts/profiles, so it's a big problem for me, that all old mails is gone - and the new one too... Fortunately all my incoming mails are redirectet to a backup mailadress - if I had not done that years ago, I would be really f....

I have tried to open in troubles... mode - does not help....

I tried to unplug and replug the pc - no difference. I have tried to reinstall TB - now several times - no difference... The problems began with an update - I wish I could downgrade to a version, that works well... But I haven't kept the older version...

I'm an old Danish women with very little knowledge of reading and understanding complicated possible solutions - but I know how to install a program, so where can I find an older version to install, so that I can read and write an email again?

Now I have to use and old gmail-account and not my usual accounts.

I'm so sad...

BTW: it's version 115.5.2 (64-bit) - and my pc is running Windows 11

I wrote to you earlier today about a problem i am having with themes.I change themes quite frequently and have a lot of them on my list. After opening and closing the browser once or twice the list of themes no longer shows what each theme looks like. I reset Firefox and the image of each theme reappears. It's quite tedious as i said to have to do this once or twice a day. Is this problem occurring because i have too many themes on the list?. I have turned off all other extensions and the same problem keeps happening. I don't know what to do.

Hi Firefox...I am unable to sign in to this website in the traditional way. When I attempt entry I get the following message. "Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at secure.adultfriendfinder.com.

If you entered the right address, you can:

   Try again later
   Check your network connection
   Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)".

This is the ONLY site, that I have where I encounter this issue. Technical people say that it is not on their end.

I can go to my neighbors computer and immediately gain access.

I have turned off NORD VPN...no success I have turned off Pi Hole...no success I have change search engines...no success...I use DDG on all sites...using Google or Yahoo search engines did not effect the outcome. I have refreshed FF...no success I have deleted and re-installed DDG ad on...no success I have included a screen shot of what I get when denied access.

The only way to gain entrance is to go to the "FORGOT PASSWORD" tab and put in a new password.

The irony of that is, even if I change the PW, and allowed entrance when I log out and want to re-enter I have to change the PW again

italic textI think the virus is blocking my internal and using my sim card and I need help updating my apps or I won't have any, Google one is in for service, also the virus is stopping my smaller antiviruses from working properly and keeps switching the VPN off, my apps are important though,I haven't got many left and Google is no help

i have tried to reload thunderbird but still no button for SEND. i dont want to uninstall Thunderbird because i'm afraid i will lose all the files i have saved, in sub folders Please help. i also can not reply to any thing thank you Lee Lynch

I asked this but never got any response via email so will ask again. I have Thunderbird on my desktop and a laptop, both running Win 10. They both have the same rev level of Thunderbird. Looking at my email, if I click on a new message once it shows it as read which is what at I want.. On my desktop I have to open up every message to show it as read which is a pain. I know you can also go though and set message to showing as being read but the single click method is must faster. My laptop worked that way at one time but no longer. 80% of my new messages i know basically what is in them but want to save them so just want to show them read by the one click method which is very simple. I have compared settings and cannot find anything different between the two but obviously there is. Any suggestions on how to make the desktop work like the laptop? Single click for read. on July 7 the new update for TB 112.30 wrote over my version and became a new install, I asked about solution and someone recommended reload TB..no help , I have been hoping for a new update to correct what ever clobbered my folders on 7/7.and blocked my access to email server - ATT now at ver 115, still no folders. realized today 8/2 I needed a secure Key for ATT email - got that and at least was able to connect and download email . any idea how I can restore the version before july 7 ?

I installed Firefox at work and set my personal email address as secondary to my business address. Well, I liked Firefox so much that I decided to use it at work and at home - and I removed my personal email from my business account. Unfortunately Firefox is still recognizing my personal email as the secondary address for my business account and I am completely incapable of making a new account. My bookmarks and saved passwords are all different between home and work. I NEED two individual accounts, just like how I was using my browsers with Chrome.
