I was having a java problem in Firefox so I uninstalled clean and deleted my profiles folders. I am trying to reinstall but it keeps saying there's already a version open and there are no new profiles folders there. Is there a way to reinstall so this browser will work again?

Customers using firefox (at least on a mac, haven't tested on pc yet) are unable to load our content pages. The pages appear as jibberish (grey diamond framed question marks, etc.). This content loads in every other browser that we've tested. How can I change the format of our website so it loads properly in firefox? Many of our customers are mac/firefox users. Thanks!

I CAN'T GET THE "WHATS NEW" PAGE FROM COMING UP FIRST. I CHANGED THE HOME PAGE IN THE "GENERAL SETTING" IN PREFERNCES, I RESTORED THE "DEFAULT HOME PAGE" NOTHING HELPS.

IF I CLICK IN ANY WEB LINK THE "WHATS NEW " PAGE KEEPS COMING UP FIRST. I THEN HAVE TO "X" IT OUT AND RE-CLICK ON THE WEB LINK FOR IT TO RELOAD. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING. WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING WRONG?

I have a series of folders in my bookmarks toolbar,which used to drop down when clicked. They are now inactive.

Additionally, I have just tried to click the help menu to copy and paste the troubleshooting info, only to discover none of the menus at the top of the page are working either.

I am running Firefox 3.6.12. I am having to log in to EVERY password site I belong to, every time I start a new session: Facebook, my Wordpress account, member sites of every kind.

Even when I check "remember me," it is not doing so. When I look at my current cookies, these sites don't come up any more. The only thing that has changed is that I upgraded from Mac Tiger (OS 10.4) to Snow Leopard (10.6). Help!

What I did was inadvertently right click my mouse on a graphic and then must have chosen "block images from."

I would like to be able to 'unblock" the images from that source so I can see that member's images in our posting thread.

I am using an iMac with wireless mouse.

my problem is when i open 'Bookmark' menu, my bookmarked pages aren't in there. so i have to open the 'Organize Bookmarks' menu and look for it. it takes too much time and it's annoying.

any idea ?

I am trying to download version 3.6.12 and it repeatedly says " The operation can't be completed because you don't have permission to access some of the items." What items would this be and how do I access them?

Also, when I hit "up arrow key, Apple key and B," still nothing happens. I can delete bookmarks by clicking on the bookmark and clicking on the Blue star and "remove bookmark," but this does not work on expired bookmarks. I'm on a Mac if that helps. Thanks

When I move this version (3.6.12) to the applications folder on a new i-Mac, I get the message that I "do not have permission to access some of the items." I do have read and write rights on all applications and hard drive. Any ideas?

For further info, I have Safari as my Mac provider for the internet, and although I click on it, Firefox takes over when I wish to download a Web page. It saves two files--a folder, in which all kinds of massive-like data will appear, and a file with some of the information I wish to save from a page or two.

I've tried to select only the page I wish to save in several ways. However, nothing has worked until I take Firefox out of "Applications" and put it in the trash basket.

Ideally, I'd like Safari to be my default provider, and I'd like Firefox to be my secondary provider.

Please advise.

I just switched from PC to iMAC. I was able to autofill password-protected standard info into forms on the PC. I think this was a Firefox function. Is this supported for the MAC?
