Le VPN pour Firefox ne reste pas coché en permanence.
Le VPN pour Firefox doit être coché dans la barre d'outils à chaque fois que l'on rouvre Firefox après une fermeture de Firefox?! Il n'est pas permanent.

Are there similar code coverage analysis tools as in Chromium?
Thanks!

I am unable to download large files from an MS Sharepoint account in Firefox. Small files are fine (less than 100MB). Large files download fine if I use MS Edge browser but I don't want to have to use Edge unless absolutely necessary. Using Firefox Troubleshoot mode doesn't help. Clearing the cach/cookies etc doesn't help. When downloading a 600MB file, the download repeatably fails around 90-100MB. My OS is Linux Mint xfce64. Obviously MS doesn't like firefox for some reason, even in Troubleshoot mode. thanks in advance for any help.

After the version 149, a very strange issue happens to me with Firefox. When I try to log in to some services (Google account, WhatsApp, Mozilla account) the browser freezes. That does not happen if I turn the hardware acceleration off so I essentially thought there is some issue with my graphics drivers which I then updated (Nvidia 580.142 drivers for Geforce GTX 960). But what is very strange is that the issue isn't present when I use Firefox in private mode! That means: Normal mode, HW acceleration on -- freezing Normal mode, HW acceleration off -- not freezing Private mode, HW acceleration on -- not freezing I switched to the ESR version now which works fine too. Still, I am curious about what is going on and I would like to find a solution. My system is fully updated Arch Linux. I cannot share my data since I can't log in to my Mozilla account. Thanks in advance!

I'm on Thunderbird version 140.9.0esr at present.
Machine: Dell Inspiron 15 Series laptop
Monitor: Viewsonic 27"
System: Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS
RAM: 16 GB
For the last 2 versions of Thunderbird, I have seen that even after reading the new messages, the green new messages indicator remains on the TB icon in the taskbar.
Refer to screenshot.
It should of course disappear as soon as the new messages are all opened. Otherwise one thinks that there is an unread message somewhere among the mail folders, even though on checking there is not.
This remains so until TB is closed and re-opened. After re-opening the green circled number is gone.
Of course, this is more a nuisance than a serious problem.
But it would be nice to have it sorted by the next version.

I used to have the email shortcut with protonmail ekb155@pm.me When I try to login to move my shortcuts to Linux, it no longer lets me login without validation to that email. The suffix... pm.me is shortcut for protonmail. When I downgraded i kept my main login, kbarnsda@protonmail.com My current address is kbarnsda@gmail.com
Is it possible to free up this snag, I have always used Mozilla since the beginning of time. I dont want to switch t o Brave which did allow me to change emails.
Any suggestions please Thanks said more simply.. can you change ekb155@pm.me to my new email kbarnsda@gmail.com please for your security chaps the old email ekb stood for everett kenneth barnsdale and pm.me was shortcut email for protonmail.com

I currently live in the UK & Firefox defaults me the UKs common sociatal date format D-M-Y, due to having the language set to British English (GB) but the UK also uses International Date Standard ISO 8601 YYYY-M D & I have used this exclusively for the past 20+ years. My computers OS is set to the international standard.
Is there a way to set Firefox to use this date standard? I'd be happy to set the date region to Japan & have it in Japanese, they use International Standard & I lived there for many years, so that would be an acceptable option.

When uploading files with Firefox, I click the upload button, and the file browser window appears to upload files.
For as long as I can remember, it always defaulted to the last folder location that I uploaded a file, but just a few days ago, it stopped working, and always defaults to my home folder.
How can I make the upload window pop up, default to the last uploaded location? My OS is Linux Mint Cinnamon.

I am running Fedora 42 KDE spin ("plasma"). The "Discover Software Center" app offers Thunderbird as both a regular and a flatpak install, and I somewhat arbitrarily chose flatpak.
I am dealing with several legacy email accounts that have 20 years of messages, so I need to control where the profile was created, so immediately after installing I ran with -P to create a profile and specified a path name of /lore/jeff/thunderbird. /lore is the mountpoint of /dev/sda2 and it is in my /etc/fstab. /lore/jeff previously existed because that's where I put my Dropbox folder.
Every time I shut down TB and restart it later it always fails because lock and .parentlock are never deleted. Until now, I just dealt with it by deleting the files in bash, but today I wanted to make sure that TB always starts offline and decided that user.js would be the absolute safest way to guarantee that, so I pulled up profiles.ini to get a list of all profile paths to make sure that I put a copy of user.js in each and every one whether it's in use or not. What I discovered is that the profile I created does NOT have a Path of /lore/jeff/thunderbird but instead /run/user/1000/doc/e1a4ab74/thunderbird and not only that but at the very bottom of the file are these three lines [InstallBD520B11F73A6B64] Default=/run/user/1000/doc/e1a4ab74/thunderbird Locked=1
The interesting thing is that when I put user.js into the /run/user... path and then looked at /lore/jeff/thunderbird to check on lock and .parentlock, I see that there is magically a copy of user.js there. I'm not exactly sure what is going on because when I do `ls -ldi` on the two files, their inode numbers are vastly different. I don't know enough about how flatpak operates internally, but my gut tells me it has something to do with it, and my question that I'm finally getting around to asking is if I edit the profiles.ini file to use /lore/jeff/thunderbird in an attempt to get TB to correctly clean up the lock files, is that going to cause a problem because of whatever flatpak is doing? And should I complain to flatpak about it?

"Performing security verification

I click "verify you are human" and it just loops back to the very same challenge. It isn't broken in other web browsers like Vivaldi for Linux. Or Firefox in Windows 11. Just Firefox for Linux.
It has been this way for months.

Running Firefox in Kinoite - whenever I set a page to Reader view it is blank.
I have restarted in troubleshooting mode and it works, so I followed all the steps to try to identify what the problem is but nothing has worked.
I tried:
- Troubleshooting mode - worked - Disabling hardware acceleration - did not work - Disabled all extensions - did not work - Switched to default theme - did not work
Anyone any ideas?
