Hi!
We use Firefox, on iPhones and iPads (and on our iMac, but this is not so much of a problem on the big computer).
You know on the home page, where you have your pinned shortcuts, and each one has its own little icon (which, I believe, is usually supplied by the individual websites?) showing a logo for the website in question. Makes it easy to find the shortcut you want, at a glance.
Well, for more than a year, we’ve been having an annoying little issue:
All these logos get mixed up! Or sometimes, random, generic looking squares appear, with a single letter that has nothing to do with the website in question.
I might see my favorite aviation blog’s icon, on the spot for townhall!
And the familiar townhall icon appears over the link for Bible Gateway!
And further on down the line, the shortcut for NOAA weather just has a pastel pink square with the letter W in it.
Inexplicable!
It’s not a terrible problem - my shortcuts are all still there, in the same order in which I pinned them. However, one has to hunt through these mixed-up logos to find them!
I would appreciate any help that can be given!
Thanks!
