I am locked out (padlock icon with red slash) of all the websites (except gmail) that I use all the time. I did a “refresh Firefox” but that did not help. What could have caused this all of a sudden? HELP!

Thunderbird goes "Not Responding" and Looses focus in the process. That feature is getting quite annoying especially when I am in the process of writing a news email. The new email is loosing focus which is highly annoying, the Thunderbird mail client itself is not gaining the focus either. If I have other programs open it hides behind those.

Is there any weay to fix this, any tricks to avoid it from loosing focus?!?

I would be really grateful if there is a fix to it.

TB 102.12.0(64 bit) on Win 11 freezes randomly when composing a message. When it freezes the only way to free my system is to go to Task Manager and end the task. I tried reinstalling TB but the problem still persists. The problem appears to be related to the latest update.

Hello!

Ever since I reinstalled firefox again, and it updated to 113 version, I can't see videos in full screen. I click on full screen, but there is an edge around the sides and bottom, and i can see the browser background. I don't know what to do. I tried with about:config option but then my taskbar was visible. my browser never had these issues before. Should I just wait for a new update? This happened after i installed it again after uninstalling, because I thought I needed to uninstall US version to get the UK version again.

If you can, I'd be very thankful.

Before the latest update, I was able to open links (eg zoommtg:) but that quit working. I originally thought it was a problem with Ubuntu, but I tried in Chromium and it seemed to work fine. In addition to not being able to open links, I can't click on the "Show Folder" in the downloads dialog. This leads me to believe Firefox is having trouble communicating with the desktop.

  • OS Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS
  • Firefox Version 114.0.1 (Snap)

Ideally, I'd like to find a log or some indicator as to why this is happening. It's quite annoying because I find myself doing a lot of copying and pasting of links and what not. Any help would be appreciated.

I am a lousy typist. Recently, I somehow fat-fingered something I was typing and all of my inbox folders disappeared, including 3 accounts and a number of subjects within the accounts. Now, when I get messages, the bar at the bottom says I have received a new one from one of my two accounts, but nothing shows up, so I can't read anything. It's probably a one-keystroke command, but I don't know how to correct it, and in the meantime Thunderbird is unusable.

How can I correct this? Is there a way, in future, that I can prevent single-keyastroke commands from destroying my program's organization?

Using latest version of Firefox - 116.0

Unfortunately recently I have been unable to drag files out of the 'Downloads' At the same time, I noticed I can no longer copy images from pages.

I will right click, copy image and it just does not go into my clipboard.

In terms of the Downloads, I'd always download audio or video files and drag them straight into Premiere Pro - I can no longer do this. I cannot drag it outside of Premiere either, so it's not an Adobe bug.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

I experience, as man others in the forum, that T-Bird locks the cursor, and everything goes to a halt. You can actually keep typing, and most of the text will appear when the "lag is over". The issue started more than a year ago when I set up a new laptop with pre installed W10, so it was a blank installation of T-Bird. I fiddled a bit with the below registry settings, it primarily take care of resource eating nonsense from MS - it helped a bit, not much.

All this just to say, you have a problem at the T-Bird developer team, I'm not the only person reporting this, but support don't know their head from the tail.

I'm running WIN10 and have no plans of upgrading for now.

I'm not suspecting the computer which is a new one with an I7 processor and 16Gb RAM

Why do i continue to get the attached error message. I tried entering all my password, like, LAN, signam, gmail, and Firefox PW. I changed Firefox PW 2 times already and it doesn't take any of the PW including any Firefox PW that i created within my profile. I'm at a point that i do not want to use Ff any more and will go back to MS edge or chrome.

I found a suggestion on another thread here to change to download by chunks but this didn't fix the issue. Looking for help. v102.14.0 32 bit running on Win7.

There seems to be no trigger for this on my end, at least there is no pattern that has been evident to me. There is no specific time interval that causes this either.

Please help illustrate this problem better, or guide me to a solution. Thanks!
