Firefox frequently refuses to load FamilySearch. I can usually reconnect by clearing cache and cookies, but then it only works for a day or so before it refuses to connect again. I have disconnected enhanced tracking. Google Chrome does not have this problem. Please help me find a solution. Thanks, Sharon

After changing my password I get the following error message: "Server imap.pt.lu has disconnected. The server may have gone down or there may be a network problem" Thunderbird is running well on my mobile, so why not on my PC? I have tried these things: Internet connection is working (as you can see from this mail) I have checked server settings, they seem okay. I have deinstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird. All to no avail. Can you help me?

Please let me know if speech recognition API is supported in firefox. If yes, provide the steps to configure it without any error. I always get error like Uncaught TypeError: window.SpeechRecognition is not a constructor

Whilest using the Android Firefox app, suddenly all Videos except normal GIFs stopped playing and are instead eternally loading or showing a blank screen. This is the case for Youtube, Vimeo, Imgur and all other Platforms I found so far. By using the beta version of the app in the "about:config" menu I changed the setting "media.mediasource.vp9.enabled" to "true" which fixed it for Youtube, but other Videos on other sites are still not working. I also tried disabling all addons and doing a complete clean reinstall of the app, but this too had no effect.

Any ideas on how to fix are appreciated :) Thanks in advance

I had to add Javascript because one of my accounts need Javascript to open. After installing Javascript and allowing for all to be 'true', I still get this message when I try to open a 'show blocked content' in my email.

"The address wasn’t understood

Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (javascript) isn’t associated with any program or is not allowed in this context.

   You might need to install other software to open this address."

I never had any problem before installing Javascript. Thanks for any solutions.

What are you doing with Firefox browser. Have been using it since the 90's with very little trouble but in the last six months it has become hopeless. Just constant dropouts, but switch to Google Chrome and it's perfect. please fix this problem. .

MY INBOX HAS CHANGED IN ITS APPEARANCE WHERE AS THE SIZE OF THE SPACE FOR THE EMAILS ALLOWS ONLY FOUR EMAILS TO BE VIEWED ON THE WHOLE SCREEN. I USED TO SEE MAYBE TEN. Google search hangs until I clear cookies which fixes it, then hangs again soon after. I've tried clearing cache as well. I've also gone through my extensions and gotten rid of anything that could cause issues. I disabled duckduckgo (see attached pic of my current extensions). I'm also updated to the latest version (see pic). It's also happening on my desktop and my laptop pc's. I do IT work and computer repair professionally and I'm out of things to try here! Can you help me with this issue?

My installation was updated as of 11/17 to ver 102.5 but the update message completed on 11/19 since I have automatic background installation set for my option.

I currently am not able to download any messages from my provider to the any of the 3 inboxes set up under the installation. The get messages button does not do anything. My provider has a POP server and I am unable to send any mail outbound either; the message is that the SMTP server is unavailable or not accepting connections at this time.

Tech Support from the provider denies any server problems and in fact, in using a web browser connection to the mail server, all the incoming mail is visible and can be accessed.

Any ideas on what fixes I can make to restore the ability to see current mail in TBird??

I recently installed Ubuntu 22.04 and now the address book crashes when I attempt to use it to create an email; thunderbird freezes and give me the window stating 'not responding' and if want to force quit or wait. I end up having to force quit. But I use my address book's saved lists for a number of emails, and now this is not working. How can I fix it? I would need detailed steps, as I am not anything but a general user. Thanks.

Been using TB for ages - love it - however it has recently stopped receiving emails - what is the cure? Reinstall? New update?

Hi, Up to previous version (TB 101), I could send emails to any group from my MacOSX contact list which appeared in send field and I used this all the time to select mailing lists. Now the send to a group fills automatically like before, but sending fails with message "groupname <grouname> is not a valid address" Maybe, if it cannot be fixed soon, and the new address book does not feature MacOSX group sending I wsih to get back to previous version of TB where it worked fine. suddenly Thunderbird email stopped working. I keep getting a request to input and change my password and have done that several time. I also have gone through all the steps to ensure all the info was correct and connected properly. My email works fine when I login through the internet. Passwords are correct, connection info is correct. My emails work fine on my phone. I have uninstalled the program but it had no effect. I am using version: 102.0.2 (64-bit)
