Good evening I have been using Thunderbird mail for ages, and now suddenly diverse thing don't work anymore: I can't chose my signatures anymore, the language correction does not work anylonger, and when I print things they come out wrong. Hi, I've been using TB for years with no issues. Then my Windows 10 PC had issues of black screen, slowness, etc. No viruses or malware showed up. So I did a system restore to a few days prior. Then all my TB shortcuts no longer opened. I checked my list of programs & it is still listed so how do I open it now? Or is it damaged now? There doesn't seem to be a reinstall option for it.

Please fix the abovementioned problems,make a browser bit faster,improve the consistancy of the browser so that it will stop crushing.Please make it stop alternating or change mail pages.

Every send address does this.

Managing Firefox bookmarks has become impossible as of 12/1/23. Browser freezes up and then task manager shows multiple instances of FF open.

No help is available anywhere. Community blames the user, mocks the poster, blames PC configuration when nothing was changed. Only offers impossible to understand instructions. Help topics don't help at all.

Why is Firefox freezing and crashing as of 12/1/23?

Hello, I have the following problem with the current version of Thunderbird (115.9.0 64-bit "Supernova"):

When writing an e-mail (no matter if only HTML format, or HTML and plain text) no list items are displayed (neither unsorted nor numbered).

Everything else, such as inserting tables, smileys, etc. works.

If I create a document with several list elements and sub-elements (indented elements) in Word as a test and copy this into the message in Thunderbird, the list elements are displayed from the second level onwards.

Even if I insert the whole thing as HTML code (ul, ol, li, ...) the same thing happens.

It is a fresh installation. I wanted to switch from Outlook to Thunderbird. However, this is really suboptimal:-(

Hi! So, I don’t really know what I did but I tried opening Firefox and it says Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible.. I tried reinstalling it and it shows the same error. How do I fix this?

You write that you can no longer send outgoing messages.

Try viewing your outgoing server details in your Thunderbird Software.

These settings are set as they are normally set for use.

After an update, some miscommunication could have arisen, resulting in a situation similar to yours.

Together we can see whether this can be completed so that it works as it should again.

Can you send me a screenshot of your outgoing SMTP server settings for email use? This is probably installed in your Thunderbird software on your desktop.

Yesterday I was answering a message on Tbird and I somehow fat-fingered - probably hit Ctrl or Alt -plus a character - in such a way that it damaged the Thunderbird settings for the e-mail account I was using (I have two). The other one is OK, but any time I receive a message on the damaged one I get a warning in yellow across the bottom of my screen that "A unique identity matching the From address was not found. (plus some more verbiage)."

I have found that if I move messages from that inbox to my other one, they then behave normally, can be responded to, etc.

What have I done and how can I fix this?

We've fixed it just as You've instructed us.

But we've still got problem with sending and saving emails. Some messages (not always, just in some periods of time), are not sent and not saved in sent messages. We've had this problem yesterday and now I don't know what has been sent and which were not.

I've noticed since the latest update, when click on a link or search for something, there is a delay.

Is there anything I can do but it doesn't happen to all sites but annoying.

This doesn't happen with Chrome.

Updated yesterday to the latest version of Supernova 115.2.3. It added two new Local Folders, both Bin and neither added by me. I deleted ... without additional issues that I am aware of.

How stable is this new release ... should I revert to pre 115?

I am not receiving my hotmail.com email now after this latest update to 115.2.2. This is a real problem, I get a popup window about Microsoft not being able to sign me in...? What the heck have you done to me with this update. I want to go back to my previous version, but I can never find any info on how to do that and I am not positive what version I had before this Supernova edition. This new one has caused me a big headache that I really don't have time for. Pease advise how to return to version 102.? ASAP

I am using Beta Version 118.0b5 (64-bit) Deletions of even 5 emails takes several seconds where the screen dims and I get the timing circle, saying Thunderbird is not Responding. If I am deleting an entire Junk folder, it takes several minutes. This never happened in the Release versions. Is this something the Beta team might be working on?

Following a thunderbird advice to clear the save file of my default email, the delete folder disappeard. This is ny umpteenth request for "How to reinstate the delete folderik’ for ‘Thunderbird" over many months and no response from you!’

Your new update, like your last several suck. It is sssllllooowww to load most webbsites. Watching a video is frustrating, pausing every few secons. Hi, I have 6 accounts with the same domain. When I change the username on the SMTP server, they all change to the same username. Strange?

When I Edit SMTP server and change the username, all the accounts immediately change to that username. If I select another SMTP server Description, same result, if the IP address is the same. It seems as though the default has gone awry?

Emails sent by myself addressed to myself from my Mac desktop or iPhone are not being delivered back to me. They appear in my sent folder, however, they are not delivered.

This has never been an issue before and no settings have been altered.
