I've been using Thunderbird for a number of years. I recently went back to using Windows from Linux, and am having difficulty with the Windows version of Thunderbird. The issue is when I go to set up my gmail accounts, I get a box popping up that should show my google account so I log in through there, but it hangs and never moves past. The pics below shows both the window that pops up that never changes and the server settings.

I've let it sit for up to an hour but nothing changes.

I've looked and haven't seen this question elsewhere, so I figure it must be something on my end. I'm using Thunderber 91.9.1 on Windows 11 Home OS build 22000.675. I'm not using any sort of VPN, and I've tried with Windows firewall both on and off, no changes.

Hello.

When I use Firefox to open a .pdf file that is long and "heavy" (it's a 600 page book scan with OCR), searching with Ctrl+F gets sloppy. Searching clearly skips some of the appearances of the phrase. I compared the results with other .pdf readers as well as Chrome. The latter one, for example, brings 190 search results while Firefox makes it 172. With more specific search, it's 3 to 2 or sometimes 1 to none.

I believe the reason is that file doesn't load entirely upon opening - rather, it loads pages as I'm scrolling. Even though Firefox has some useful features as a .pdf reader that Chrome lacks, like two pages view, this flaw alone kind of kills it for some uses.

Is there any fix for this? Like maybe forcing Firefox to load an entire document at once?

Cheers, Rafał

Way too many crashes, odd window mashes, affects all open applications at times. Basically, Firefox is unusable after recent updates. On my laptop it also deleted all passwords - performed the guidance and it didn't work. After probably a decade or more I'm finalling going to leave Firefox to all of you - unless they can fix it by Friday 29th May.

Hello,

I'm a developper on the "Rainbow" application, when I try to call a device in Webrtc firefox crashes. So, this issue also exists in safe mode This bug doesn't exist on chrome The id : b73b7934-bfe8-4734-8f16-372180200529

So, I don't know in my code where the issue comes from, and if I activate the debug, with breakpoints and step by step, I don't reproduce the issue.

So, can you help me to know how to find the issue (if the bug is in my side)

thanks

best regards

Philippe

In Firefox my connection speed never goes above 9000 kbps whilst other browsers never drop below 60000 kbps.

What i have tried so far: Multiple different Internets and ISPs Installed nightly New profile without add-ons Firefox in safe mode Changed user agents "Disable polymer on YouTube" add-on

I'm thinking of deleting EVERYTHING Firefox related from my PC and starting from a totally clean plate. I would need help deleting everything Firefox related stuff. Suggestions welcome to fix it easier.

I'm trying to set up my PS4 Pro machine that I just purchased, but the following is what I got when PS4 Pro sent out the Email. I checked and I am hooked up to the internet according to the PS4 Pro, all systems read successful except the following won't allow for me to finish the installation. I copied and pasted exactly what the Email says after I click on "Verify"

"Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to click.txn-email.playstation.com because this website requires a secure connection.

What can you do about it?

click.txn-email.playstation.com has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem."
