Recently, I cannot login to some websites that I use frequently. In particular, Wellsfargo.com and GoDaddy.com

Emails with .PDF attachments have the Firefox logo on them and are opened by the Firefox.PDF "app". I want it totally disabled. I don't want to ever see it again. I have wasted two hours trying to figure out how to just use Adobe .PDF.

For downloads I have made the selection to use Adobe.PDF. That works.

Any help would be appreciated.

I need to know how to change my original website URL to a new url so I might continue with Firefox and lose Microsoft. Can anyone tell me in layman terms how to accomplish this change plrase?

I attempted to install a router but Mozilla sent a caution message that the brand (Net Gear) was insecure. Which brands are secure routers?>I have a Mac Book Air purchased a few months ago and have never had internet at home. This is first attempt. Thanks.

I have been using Firefox for a long time. I can't even think of using another of those of the other browsers tht are so intrusive. I just noticed, and I think it is new,, that my history button shows my personal emails I have visited. Of course no one can go there and see the entire email massage without my login and pwd. But it is still awful - for example I just looked again and there is the security verification code - 3****2 - I just used to sign up for Firefox Accounts. So all my subjects of personal concern are right there for all the world to see what I am talking about with other people. I don't have anything to hide (right now) but I can imagine many ideas that I would rather not have snooping eyes able to see. I'm sure that many people with different lifestyles that me would be LIVID if they knew that their subjects of emails were available to be visible on an open page. - Here are some others in my history list: "Adrian-Your credit limit has increased--Chase..." "John L***** has joined your personal meeting room" "Lucky Brand Jeans + casual pants now buy one get 1 . . ." "Your Online Bill is available - Verizon Wireles . . ." - - - Like I said, I don't remember ever seeing history references to my personal emails before. I enjoy using the history button - it's much faster than going to bookmarks or typing in. I have looked at the subjects of help but it doesn't seem to cover this. I hope I don't have to go to the trouble of VPN or "Always delete history" - - hope you can help with a bug fix or simple setting. - - Jerme

I read that with version 100 on the Mac there will be some problems with some web pages like my bank can you tell me if this has been fixed or not, if not I don't want to go past version 99. Thanks for all help Michael Whitecotton

Since at least last week (3/28/2022) Firefox has been running in the background utilizing at least 50% of my CPU, hurting performance in my PC games. I've checked settings and "About Mozilla Firefox" and both say "Firefox is being updated by another instance". Ending the process doesn't close the browser, and it will usually function fine for a little while, before resuming again.

Cannot load Firefox page error comes up saying " www.searchgoose.com " PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR what has to be done to rectify this ?

Everything on the top right(of yellow region) doesn't work, "Window Close" "Maximize" "Minimize" "Sandwitch" etc

The bookmark start , the bookmarkbar until the "New Folder" folder and everything else works.

I have disabled all addons but the problem still persists.

My homepage is www.nine.com.au When it loads all the pictures are shown until I scroll down to the sport section and then no more pictures are displayed. If I use another browser I don't have this problem. Thanks in advance.

I entered a product # on a website, but was not found. I then used a different computer and different browser, it worked. Also, ipad worked. I've been using Firefox for years, with Ubuntu

I'm not entirely sure what's happened, but I can describe it. My Macbook Air crashed for reasons unknown, and upon rebooting it, I attempted to open Firefox, but was met with the message "A copy of firefox is already open". I found some old guide on using Terminal to discover two different profiles for Firefox. After restarting my computer, I accessed my Firefox tabs from before, but now when I open links from my email account, they default to opening up a new Firefox window, one where it seems my bookmarks don't exist. How do I remove the second profile without losing my bookmarks?

Recently (probably after an update) Firefox starts showing my list of downloads automatically and unwanted after each download. So I want to download a few MP3's from a website. I click on one, select the download option, and when it is done downloading a drop down display comes down from the Menu bar showing my last downloads. Obviously, as I download more, this list gets longer. I know I can make the list disappear by clicking anywhere on the screen, but it is an extra click to get rid of a feature I don't want. How do I turn that off?

bold text' I need to stop firefox from attempting to download update 99 because it will not download it and it is taking up too much of my internet metered download time.'I have taken it off of automatically download updates,but it still pops up a message every day.

UPDATES: What version of Firefox is the most current?

I just read an email that states we should update to version 99? I cannot find that version to update. Rhon

It only disappeared briefly - I found it as the first item under the Bookmarks dropdown menu (see uploaded image). How do I get them back where they used to be, i.e. on the right, below the URL/search box. Many thanks to fellow Firefoxers.
