Lockwise is no longer an effective add-on. Registrations on websites which stipulate a password require the password to include a character in addition to the number and letter sequence previously stipulated.

Will Lockwise incorporate this new requirement?

Why TF do you keep introducing small small updates and irritating us by keeping on asking us to update update update update update. WHO CARES A S++T whether you changed a comma to a semi colon? Why can't you just intro some larger updates say ONCE A MONTH ????

I regularly use the PrintFriendly website to create and download PDFs. In the past, I have always been able to choose where I download the files to on my Windows 10 PC. Recently, I have been unable to do so -- the files are always downloaded to the Downloads folder. I have set my browser to "Always ask" (see picture), but that doesn't make any difference. Is there something else that I need to do? Thank you!

There is a site I can access with Safari from my iPhone but not with FireFox or Edge from my Windows laptop. Specifically, the site is www.thechildrensmediaconference.com. I have tried the advice in a previous thread on this theme with no success

I am running WikiSpecies on Ubuntu Firefox 64-bit v. 98.0.2.

I used to be able to display a collection of unused files with the used ones but showing a red color indicating that the file was unused (because noone had entered anything other than the file name).

Now, however, ALL files in a directory (e. g., see https://species.wikimedia.org/wiki/Craspedophorus) are shown with the same color, whether they include additional implementation details or not.

Would it be possible for you to restore the "unused" color of empty files? It is bothersome for me to open EVERY file, empty or not, in a directory just to find that most or all of them never have been implemented. Adding a special color -- or other distinctive display -- to unimplemented files would save me a great deal of time.

I am attaching a picture of a typical unimplemented file.

I received a few pop up messages saying 86% of memory was in use, so I thought I would look and see if I could remove any memory-guzzling content to free up some space. I deleted all my bookmarks and then deleted a few apps for things I never use (games, Skype, Zoom etc...). I have now discovered that Excel and Word, amongst others that I also did not delete, have disappeared too! Is there any way that I can get these back, or undo all the deletions? I am not very tech savvy as you can probably tell. Thank you.

In version 98, a change was made so that the download panel always opens every single time any file is downloaded. I have found that I never, under any circumstances, want or have ever wanted this behavior, nor do I ever ever serendipitously benefit from it. It is continuously annoying. How do I defeat it?

I have a desktop and laptop both with FF installed and synced and they ALWAYS load identical. Yesterday I set up my my new desktop in my office and I installed FF and when I logged onto my account my FF stayed the default color. This never happened before, and as I turned and looked at my old desktop I saw that it too now had the wrong theme. So I went into my kitchen were I have my laptop set up (it just upgraded itself to win 11 and I am using it as a training tool) the FF on it was no longer appearing correctly.

I have since spent 30 some hours uninstalling/reinstalling FF/ deleting my profile, remaking my profile, re-deleting my profile and making another new profile using a different email and when I install FF on ANY OTHER pc it will not load correctly, especially themes and add ons.

What the hell is causing this and how do I fix it??

On every PC I used my Revo Uninstaller Pro to uninstall FF including file remnants and then meticulously scrubbed repeatedly each PC for any leftover registry and file remnants, and then I used my file eraser program to wipe all the file slack.

If this is going to be an issue why have FF ? I spend enough time now keeping Edge disabled and dont want my fav primary browser to become a "High Maintenance" browser having to spend time EVERY TIME I TURN ON MY PC fixing this, repeatedly. Its like having to add water to your cooling system every time you start up your car before you can use it.

Any help would be enormously appreciated.

The trouble shooting information below is for the first install tonight after getting home and making the newest profile and it is seemingly staying correct, the next install on my laptop is incorrect, it has one deleted theme installed yet is "using" the default theme and the correct theme I picked is not even showing.

I'm not entirely sure what's happened, but I can describe it. My Macbook Air crashed for reasons unknown, and upon rebooting it, I attempted to open Firefox, but was met with the message "A copy of firefox is already open". I found some old guide on using Terminal to discover two different profiles for Firefox. After restarting my computer, I accessed my Firefox tabs from before, but now when I open links from my email account, they default to opening up a new Firefox window, one where it seems my bookmarks don't exist. How do I remove the second profile without losing my bookmarks?

Cannot load Firefox page error comes up saying " www.searchgoose.com " PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR what has to be done to rectify this ?
