Noticed recently firefox looses windows on startup. Set to restore on bootup, but quite frequently Firefox looses a whole window, each with several panes. eg I'm lazy and will have an ebay window, each pane different, watchlist and others with items I'm looking to buy, saves me ticking all the little boxes. Another window might be nas boxes, each pane being a nas box. Then a general window fo bowsing news etc. Noticed on startup a whole window vanishes with all its panes. Not an accidental click on close window, since get a warning if I do that because of multiple panes.

re: SightReadingFactory.com. Clicking on notes in measures in sample music no longer sounds a tone, which is wrong. However, Clicking on the 'tonic icon' does which is right. The former stopped working last week.

I sign into FF. I have "Never remember History" selected in my settings, and I'm running is Strict Privacy mode, but every time I open a tab and the Pocket page appears - at the top of the page are icons of some sites I have visited in the past. How can that be disabled so History is not remembered ?

Problem has been reported before and archived (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1343948) The solution worked, but if lots of people are seeeing this, it should be fixed permanently rather than use a temporary fix.

On financial websites investment gains are displayed in green and losses in red. However, very recently the numbers are only displayed in black. Also, sometimes numbers are not displayed at all or only partially. This started within the last month. I should add that in Chrome this problem does not occur.

There are times when my browser doesn't let me close tabs. Whenever that happens, clicking on the X button does nothing and I've noticed that, when I try that, another layer of buttons appears briefly just over the Firefox window resizing and closing buttons; as if a new screen layer of unknown origins is blocking my actions. Closing the window, however, works normally.

This problem happens randomly and I have no idea what's causing, but it's getting annoying. How can I fix that?

For the last several months pages on my websites don't always show correctly after i've updated them. I then need to go into the settings/privacy and delete all data to see the correct changes.

Hello. I want to report a performance issue (slowness) caused by the overexcesive virtual memory usage by Firefox sub-processess.

State description

After runing Firefox, I observed in the htop the process of Firefox (and it's sub-processes) and compared it with the about:processes

I had discovered that main Firefox process opens many sub-processess that aren't even used (they does not appear on the mentioned above "about" page).

Additionally, in some mement, at latest one of the created sub-process start to use 28.6 GB of virtual memory, like each of the created by it sub-process. This causes quite big loose of stability of the browser and even system

Recently when using Firefox, I have encountered several site (vanguard.com, publix.com...others) where the site will not process my login, but if I open the site in a Private window, it works normally. What might be causing this? Du Other info: Windows 11, Firefox 96.0.3, no VPN, AdBlock add-in, LastPass add-in, Duckduckgo. Security settings at Standard.

The current version of Firefox (96.0.3) now insists on displaying a banner ad advertising everything else that Mozilla offers.

Here's a hint for the folks at Mozilla -- I won't use any of those products because you insist on pestering me with the stupid ad in the one Mozilla product that I do put up with despite its numerous faults.

My gateway had to reboot for tv issue. Everything came back as normal except for Firefox. It shows a blank page with only a search bar that does not function. Other browsers and programs work. Should I uninstall and re-install Firefox? This is the first time this has happened as I have had this browser for many years.

I have to use a specific page for work and the users have a google analytics monitor on their control panel. Even if I have deletes cookies on all pages related to the control panel it still wont show. I have even reset firefox, but it still won't show up.

If I use incognito browser it comes up, but when using my regular firefox it is still stuck on the old page (as my old profil picture shows up). I've even deleted everything, but still stuck on old page.

Suddenly my twitter is white and nothing displays after a refresh. I did not change any settings. It is normal in troubleshoot mode. I have disabled my adblock but that didn't make a difference.

When starting Firefox I used to to see my "BBC NEWS" home page at that time. Now when Firefox starts I get "Sorry can't find that page". If I select "restore previous session" I get the news page from the last session not the current news ! Is there a cure for this ?

How to contact by phone someone to help me change the page color and color of fonts so I can read information easier. I have tried to do this myself, but have had no luck in correcting the problem. This problem happened with the last update.
