Yet my software states it has the latest update

I begin to use firefox developer edition alongside firefox regular version. I've read some article that say if these 2 difference version using 2 seperate different profile, but it seems they're not. For example, when I change the theme to light for firefox and dark for firefox devedition, they always syncing each other so it use the theme the last set regardless where is set.

My question, is firefox and firefox devedition really using 2 seperate different profile? Can I use different setup like themes, addons for only one version? Where I can read the official documentation?

After update firefox will not let me login to my online banking. This what it states "We can’t connect to the server at consumer.prosperity.bank." and that is all that it states, nothing more. if I "refresh" my firefox it will let me login one time and I can see the page certificates and such but after I log out it goes back to the same problem. I have used "EVERY" means possible to troubleshoot and fix this issue. I know it is a certificate issue related to firefox only. I can login without any issues on microsoft egde and other supported browsers. Since I can not get a "real" person to help resolve this issue I am reduced to leaving this post, hoping it will get resolved. thank you

I just updated to 96.0 and the mode was changed automatically to a dark mode. How about giving the user the option to make appearance changes and not do it automatically!! I've tried various changes to get my light mode back without any success.

As of today, I'm no longer able to log in to the accuweather website. They tell me: "A new version of Mozilla (Firefox) was released on Tuesday, Jan 11th, and Professional/Premium subscription users are receiving a FAILED LOGIN error when logging in. Until Mozilla resolves the issue with their new version that prevents a successful login, you will need to use a different browser. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. I did update the Firefox 96.0 browser today, and the color of Title bar have change the color from gray to black! even background is black too. I want old color back again. Please fix the old color again I don't want all black because not good my eyes.

all of a sudden the backround color for new tabs is black, I hate black. How do I make only the new tab backround white. It seems like every new version has different default values. Why is it not possible to allow users to try, then choose which new interface changes we want.

So today Firefox updated itself to the newest version 96 and after that all the drop down menus and even the Google search page has automatically switched to Dark mode with black background and white text. I am using the C.E. Jungle Waterfall theme, downloaded from the theme page which is dark green, I've been using it for 5-6 years and it has never been like this before. I would really like to switch back to the light theme menus as this one strains my eyes quite a lot. Is there any way to revert back to it or just disable it altogether?

Time is passing, new versions releasing, but problem are same. Firefox 71 had a good looking colored cleartype. Fonts was clear and pretty. And new versions have a monochromatic cleartype, which makes fonts to look like sh1t. How to take back a colored cleartype? Just tell me, how. I tried many gfx.font_rendering.cleartype_params, but nothing is working.

My browser updated to 96.0 (64-bit) about an hour ago. I've been running the Cheshire cat Theme for a long time now without it making the entire browser turn Dark (I just like what it did to the Tab bar and the Menu Bar). It didn't effect anything else -- not the Menus themselves and certainly not any webpages. But since the update--the Menus, the Firefox Home page, the Settings page, and even the Google search results pages--all have been showing up in Dark Mode. I switched around other themes I have and noticed that only the themes that are light in color stop everything from going dark.

It's a minor thing but I would really like to keep my set up as it was. I would really appreciate some help.

Upgraded to windows 11 now you tube full screen is broken/off center. you can see in the picture the gap to the left and to the top where my desktop is peeking through in fullscreen. Before windows 11 it was fine nothing else changed. Temp fix is to exit full screen then re enter full screen and it will be fixed till Firefox is restarted.

Before installing FF 96 today, I looked at the description of the changes here:

That seemed straightforward: nothing that would change the browser UI.

But when I upgraded, I found that in fact there were changes to the margins and borders of the .tab-background class in browser.css, which took some time to debug and to counteract with my userChrome.css. Not the end of the world, but if I had known, I would have held off the upgrade for a few days so I could work out the userChrome changes at my leisure.

Is there a way that I can see a fuller changelog in future before taking an upgrade, so I know what the impact is likely to be?

Hello, Mozilla has been getting very slow, am using regularly Brave browser now, as from click is 4 seconds to use, yet now Mozilla 96.0 is 25 seconds to start. Both have Ghostery installed & Adblock Plus so don't use that crap predictable excuse, I will not disable these. Both have full clean out of temp files & cache whenever closed down. I will never sign in as big momma tracks all searches. Always use anonymous as never eve sign in except for sites required. Never ever sign in using any browser unless checking email, then flush out after. Also Themes now is dark, though dark google them show dark / light as default. Getting used to Brave as chromium based without holes, some things I still use Mozilla but slowness is real issue

Logging in with another browser does not have problem. I prefer to use Firefox for this but cannot do so now. Could you help?

With today's new upgrade my login for accuweather premium is disabled. Accuweather says you are the problem. Please fix as soon as possible. Regards, spinoneone judypaul91@earthlink.net
