Mac OS X, 10.15.7. Macbook Air 2012. Firefox version 81.

After starting Firefox, I'm taken to a blank page (my default new tab is about:home.) If I type in an address and hit Enter, nothing happens. When I hit enter again, it finally starts to browse. This happens every time I start Firefox fresh. If I hit CMD+Q then start Firefox again, and type in an address, and hit Enter, it does nothing. Not until I try again does it work.

All i wanted to do was move some favourites from one folder to another, no problem you would think...... Wait till you click the II/ tab , it decides to show some total crap thats not linked to your own favourites, but rather takingthe route of Microsoft ( Which is now unfortunetly my new browser ) ..

Why complicate things ?

Why not leave it in folder format, drag and drop

so unhappy as i wanted to avoid MSFT :(

yes i did and its crazy complicated, if you want a demo of how to move a single file from folder to folder then i can show you, but until you sort this i am out ......

there was a feature which allowed to stop smooth scrolling animation before it reaches the end and it allowed to stop it more precisely where you want it. With the last update-this feature was gone, why?

Once every week it seems Firefox forgets im logged in and kicks me out from every site.

I can close Firefox and turn off computer and im still logged in on Youtube on startup, but some time during week it seems to drop the logged in state and i have to redo it on multiple sites.

Im starting to wonder if it has something to do with my Phone visiting Youtube on same account that screws it up. It seems to happen when i disappear from PC for some hours and comes back. In that time ive usually streamed Youtube content on Chromecast.

Ive had this happen meanwhile i was logged in on Youtube with the tab open. Once i refreshed i was logged out. Ive cleared cookies/cache to test if that was the issue but that didnt fix it. Other than that clearing cookies is disabled and has been so at all times.

This problem has been going on for a few months.

I thought FireFox was the way to go but now I'm sick of their political propaganda as well. What browser, if any, will stop pushing their "right think" leftist BS onto me!?

When trying to connect to https://webmail.chu-rennes.fr/ using Firefox 81.0 under OS Catalina 10.15.5 I receive the following message:

'The requested URL was rejected. Please consult with your administrator.

Your support ID is: 6577542328905707819'

I do not have the problem by moving to Safari, though.

Any insight from anyone?

Hi, I used to use Firefox for quite some time. Recently I migrated from Edge to Firefox again. I logged in My Google, Yandex and other websites using Firefox to remember the information. But After every session (closing firefox and reopening), I have to log in once again repeatedly! Firefox remembers the password and username but does not stay logged in. I found a solution by NOT logging in my Firefox account on the corner of the browser. But I'd very much like to keep logged in my Browser Firefox main account and other website accounts as well. These have happened within the last few weeks. 1. When I do a search, Google automatically switches to Yahoo Search, How do I stop yahoo search? 2. In Options, When I click on extensions, add on, the page flashes for a second then reverts to a blank new tab?? 3. The 'help tab' on the 'menu bar', when i try to open 'Troubleshooting Information", the page flashes then reverts to a blank new tab??

I tried starting in slow mode, but that didn't change anything. Is there something I can do to restore these problems, I'm 67 and not that savvy with computer language, so please simplify any solutions you may recommend.

For one of my passwords a mysterious "X" pops up in the username portion of the login, plus an invalid password. I found it in "login and passwords" section of the menu bar and removed it. It still appears when I go back to login. Is this something to be concerned about?

I am unable to use the static site of m.facebook.com since 15/10/2020 at Firefox But before 15/10/2020, I was regularly using the static site of m.facebook.com at Firefox. Why it's happening at Firefox?

I use Firefox as my basic browser and have been very happy with it so far. This problem only occurred tonight. I have two Facebook accounts. One account works perfectly as it always has done but the other account will not load up at all. When I enter "www.facebook.com" with account B selected, it does a lot of searching and then stops without bringing up a Facebook page. When I use other browsers such as Internet Explorer or Google Chrome, both my Facebook accounts come up no problem. It is as though a block was placed on account B but not on account A as far as Firefox is concerned. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated. I am running a PC with Windows 7 and I have the latest version of Firefox installed.
